Updated spaghetti chart. This is a different version compared to earlier ones in the fact that the coins are all compared to BTC and not USD. The order stays the same. ETHBTC is set as the neutral coin. The MOVR I have is red-arrowed at the bottom and I can only get MOVRETH on TV.

Getting some movement in MOVR which is a small corner of my BTC sandbox. It seems that these alts want to move. I'm willing to give more space for them to assert as I think there time is near. No telling which are the ones at any given time but will keep watching ones that I think might be turning and watch individually on the different time frames.
Scott Phillips one of M's partners in RPQ released a video on the 13th. Mainly discussed approaching altseason. There is a lot of talk about the spaghetti chart approach. One of the min takeaways is their own indecision on which alt is going to outperform. Attaching a screenshot of what they have as the top ranked coins most are doing les than BTC as well as the link to the video. I will follow up with an update of my spaghetti chart.
Just read it...agree. Altcoins getting revved up
Check and see if this works

Good question. One thing that strikes me but just an observation is when M does a mid-week update he usually speaks in terms of price action, support and resistance and usual TA. Not what I think of as "the system". I keep my spaghetti chart going with all of the coins, and BTC has definitively been near the head of the class the past few weeks. A couple of coins will breakout but not the universe of altcoins. I just took a look at the relationship between TOTAL and TOTAL2, and that might suggest the universe with BTC is moving up more strongly than the universe without BTC.
That's interesting and ironic. I took a late afternoon position in BOIL. I did it based on a 15 min signal that I got in TV.
I have been looking at your chart and I decided to try to duplicate it in Stock Charts but in the ACP module. Do you have access to that? I don't know if it would allow you to use in the same PPT format that you do. But I like how it can set up multiple timeframes on the same chart.
I duplicated your moving average systems and plotted it out in four different timeframes.
Sure enough your MA crossover happens on the 15 minute time frame! Which does not surprise me at all. The TV indicator that I like is the green-red line - depending if it is rising or falling - and that line is built on various moving averages. The signal in both cases happened right after noon.
I keep a short leash and stop (mental) and will watch until it flips red. Hopefully it will push into the longer timeframes and a new run is started.
Those balloons are part of the paid for Vision algo. They merely represent levels of gain or loss. The different colors as the price rises or falls represent levels of 2%, 5%, 20%, 20% and 25% price change. The take profit text captions (when I have them turned on) are tied to those ranges.
We remain in BTC but oh how I regret selling flipping my QTUM to BTC last week
Yes, that’s how I see it also.
It’s a two step process to move from coin to coin with BTC being a constant.
USDT is the neutral holding coin.
However, I have been holding BTC per the system, which actually had a good week…actually last couple of days.
I had QTUM for a while and should have held the whole week
Yes that is the only thing there is no conversion to USD. You can buy coins with a credit card but you can't wire USD funds in. You can trade to USDT tether but that is as close as you can get to USD I think. That should be pretty stable but I am not well versed in USDT..
They all are a little different. It seems that anything is traded in a pair with BTC. So it you select that pair first then in the trading window you should be able to quickly trade from BTC to chosen coin. Or trade out of held coin to BTC and then select the new coin pair with BTC. The process is what got me converted to the idea that the game is to accumulate as much BTC as possible and to really think in terms of BTC as what your holdings are worth and not USD.
Glad you got the 5.5 out of it. I think of all those trades where it was hope and a prayer that it would turn in the right direction and prove me right.
I played from the long side today. It was a jittery type of trading on 15 min or 5 min timeframes - three scalps for a total of 10.1% But I look at the 30 minute chart and wonder what was I thinking. Even looks strong heading into tomorrow but I am t0o skiddish holding overnight.
I pulled that link off of their FB page

If you go in Trading View under Indicators & Strategies there is a treasure chest of built-in indicators as well as user code and scripts. You can spend weeks in their trying things out. One thing I did was to type in Buy Sell into the search box and it gives you scripts, strategies, etc that provide Buy and Sell signals. That is how I eventually stumbled onto the Multi-X [V2} with the strategy tester.
This is a paid indicator (Vision). I am trying it out for a month (no trial period $90/Mo). I think there is a preset variable for each take profit point bull or bear. I have to work with it more. There is a free Discord you can check out.

Are you able to sell/buy pre-market? I hope so.
SAVA is risky and somewhat controversial. It's about Alzheimer's treatment and that is going to be controversial. Even today Class action suits have been launched for those who bought after the July run up and crash. The momentum could carry it back to the 100+ range but it could be prone to wicked drops. The daily has been reliable and the strategy tester on the daily signal is 500% +. It produced a daily buy today.
AND I just sold for a big profit.

Wow...BOIL not the day to sell today! But SAVA is also big today. ANY is big today! XAIR I picked up some. Nice day overall!
Rolling the dice and sold second half at $76. Can I buy back appreciably lower??
Thanks for the updates. All good stuff. XAIR I am watching closely but I did flip my first position in it over to SAVA...another one that ridingwaves turned me onto for their potential Alzheimer's treatment. It is a beast and in the Strategy Tester it is recording a 300%+ increase on every timeframe. Although not unusual for a stock on a long run to show a triple digit increase on one timeframe, it is very unusual to find on all 4 timeframes.
Regarding KuCoin, it has totally turned my head on to the idea that M promotes that the goal is to accumulate BTC in your account as opposed to USD. KuCoin really drives that home because everything is tradable versus BTC. So I have started another couple of charts.
The first one is Total2/BTC to see how the alts are performing versus BTC since last weeks roll. Indeed it suggests alts - at least certain ones - have done better.
The next one is various coins versus BTC plotted on one chart. COTI certainly popped mid-week.
So the game to me (accepting the premise from M) is to identify the strongest altcoin versus BTC
In TV, when you have an indicator/script with a built-in buy/sell functionality then the tab at the bottom “Strategy Tester” will compile the results of the buy/sell signals. Not every indicator/strategy has a built-in buy/sell function. I am trying out the ones that I can find is this Multi-X (a crossover strategy). Multi-X seems to be the best so far and very visual which I really like. One of the interesting aspects is that different time frames give different results. I like to make sure every time frame is positive at least.
BOIL gave back the buy signal on the 30 min chart in the first part of the after market session. I suspect this happens a lot. If I turn the after hours off the sell signal disappears. One gap in the morning would probably prime the 1 hour chart to give a buy signal. I am just trying to get a feel for this particular strategy. The alerts also work pretty well on this.

We've both had a drink out of that cup before. It doesn't always work per the script. I always played to be in when it FINALLY makes its seasonal move, but it has a way of being irrational a lot longer than I can stomach. I hope a better reading of the chart on my part will be a more profitable approach in concert with the fundamentals.
I've set up some alerts (I think) on TV but I haven't had one activate yet. The plan is to get ready when a buy signal on the 30 min chart and then execute if and when a signal is given on the 1 Hr chart. In the chart below, the Buy signals actually happen 1 bar after the crossover occurs (the white notch). So I think on a 1 Hr the signal would happen on the bar after the white notch or 4x30 min bars. Some override possible because these things move so much after hours. I will let you know as it happens..
I can see BOIL falling into the mid-40's if I look at the Volume Profile - the yellow and blue shaded bars on the right of the graph. Volume Profile shows where the concentration of trading took place over the time period on the chart. Relatively speaking there hasn't been a lot of trading above 50 over the past year compared to 40 and below. The Point of Control is down at the red line near 23 where the highest trading volume was. I will let you know as soon as I get a signal on any time frame. I did pick up some XAIR shares.
