Just providing a point of reference for your much-quoted LQMT "guru."
Now THAT, my homeboy, is a HUGE
LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL!!!!
Have a nice day!
At this point, chances are looking pretty good. Even if LQMT doesn't make money off Eon manufacturing for Apple - and as much as LQMT cannot make money from licensing CE with Apple, the have ALWAYS had the opportunity to make money manufacturing for Apple. I just don't see that opportunity though, as it's too capital-intensive unless they get a piece of the Eon action should Apple present that to Eon.
Thanks jay, I didn't notice that. Good catch and good to see you back.
I'm leaning towards it being true, but remember that the 8 mill news was published on a quiet Sunday night here first. I think LQMT's notice was the next day.

I think it's legit because of the jump in Eon's stock price last night when all its competitors were down or flat. I honestly seriously questioned, because of Chinese and U.S. regulators, if this deal would close. If you know people in major U.S. financial institutions, they all were shocked they got 8 and really held zero faith the other 55 mill would come in. That info alone, could be tremendous for this stock. We'll have to wait and see I guess.
I don't know why LQMT hasn't move up the ihub boards. Number 10 has only 3 posts and we have over 10 already.
Again, if true, this should be the story stock of the day.
If this news is true - and closed BEFORE the election - it won't matter for LQMT shareholders who ends up in the WH.
Fuhgeddaboutit. If true, this should go nuts.
If this closing of the deal is true, can we all call Tom Stiepp, "Tommy Boy", as in, "Way to go, Tommy! Atta Boy!"
I withhold judgment until we get US confirmation, though.
Yes, if true, this should be a huge mover. I was short LQMT, but closed my position, RIGHT BEFORE THE CLOSE! Boy am I SMART!!! I now have 1.5 million shares with a ZERO COST BASIS!!! I am not touting that, though
I still wonder how MTRN and Eon's alloys will play into this. MTRN has been mostly flat, from what I had seen.
Oh, I thought - FOR SURE - LQMT was at fault and this deal would NEVER be completed.
Oops...
ONLY US public company China has given their blessing to on this type of deal, along with U.S. OK on it
Should be an interesting day if that's legit, which may also be the explanation for Eon's 5% jump, despite its competitors mostly down or flat.
Hello, EONTAC.
Fwiw, I don't put a whole lot of value in it, but when it's up 5+%, despite projecting 35-55% shortfalls in revenue and all its similarly-situated competitors are flat, or fall, it might be of some notice over the next week or so to see if there is a trend, as it hasn't made a move like this in a long time, while its competitors don't follow.

2 more days before a thinner Macbook with BMG hinges. Maybe it will provide the Spark to give LQMT Longs a Jolly Christmas so that we can all say, "Look the Eagle has finally landed!"
Or, in the alternative, for the uneducated their reply will be, "Huh? Whu? What is the point of this??? Uhh, Ima little slow and I just don't get it..."
That post alone makes you a VERY intelligent person.
Very true. People are getting tired of same old, same old. Need some innovation and iWatch sales have taken a nosedive. They're fortunate Samsung had these problems, but Apple dodged a bullet as they use the same suppliers. It almost seems like sabotage.
Have you heard if the "reins were turned over to Paul Hauck" yet? I.e., was this incredible and scintillating advice listened to? TIA.
. Letter to Mr. Tom Steipp.
Dear Mr Steipp,
It is unfortunate that I am writing this letter to you to reflect the utter disappointment in yesterday's conference call and my complete regret in trusting your last words of encouragement of being in the "mist." Once again you have displayed a complete lack of understanding of your role as CEO, one in which you are highly compensated.
Your endless misrepresentations and misguided statements are repulsive and unnerving and can only lead one to ask: "what the hell are you doing?" You have continually stated, and reaffirmed, that the company is moving in the "right direction" with numerous prototypes and projects. Yet with each and every successive conference call you have back pedaled and offered feeble -at best- excuses.
Last October I had the privilege of meeting with and briefly communicating with Mr. Paul Hauck, your Senior Vice President of World Wide Sales. May I offer you a bit of advice: turn the reins over to Mr. Hauck and his team and allow them to work their magic. Mr. Hauck seems to be a man of unquestionable integrity, dedication, and possess a stellar resume of success. He is a no non-sense, straight to the point, and most importantly, trustworthy individual.
You and I, being military men, and I assume both commanders, know that every successful commander surrounds himself with a superb command staff. After serving twenty-two plus years as a United States Marine Corps officer, operating at the apex of command, I am completely disgusted with your lack "command and control."
It was .18 and now it's .38. Do I hear .58? One step at a time - let's break .18 before getting too optimistic, shall we?
They've gone pretty quiet, haven't they? Don't know what to make of that - avoiding missteps of the past or other reasons?
What's the point with this?
Well, this was useful...
The first commercial batch of bulk metallic glass will be produced in 2021.
Go LQMT.
What's the point with this?
OH NO!!! We're gapping down already. We can all feel it. It's coming. It's only a matter of time. All is B-A-D and all should S-E-L-L LQMT.
Tom Stiepp SUCKS, the Lugee deal is a SCAM and we're gapping DOWN to either .12 or .08 or something even lower...and that Fleming character? He's a TOTAL charlatan. Good grief, haha.
This interim BS is just that. Nothing like wanting it to rain on a sunny day.
What to do? What to do?? What to do if this ends up making people money??? Oh, the HORROR!!! The smart thing to do is sell now before it's too late and your brokerage account ends up with more value. That would be HORRIBLE!!!
In the interim, I shall working on obtaining that "ZERO COST BASIS" haha!
Feeling that vapor lock coming on again.
GAP TO TWELVES!!! LUGEE'S A SCAM!!!
I have watched and learned but never acted ... if I had I might be holding a significant number of shares at a zero cost basis.
a jump in short interest friday
Huh? Whose "Pops?"
Agreed 100%. Couldn't have been said any better.
Say what you want about management at LQMT, but using that method to garner sympathy makes the people at LQMT vilified by those same people look like saints compared to that; the perfect example of disgusting and revolting hypocrisy.
Good, I was very nervous - like we're one millisecond from Armageddon. Well no, not REALLY nervous.
If an LQMT shareholder was to believe half this crap - Lugee deal a scam, gapping to twelves, hitting eights, etc ad nauseum, the smart thing would be to have sold LONG ago to walk away with something, instead of projecting it to go lower and lower and lower, but the hypocrisy is overwhelming from its stench. Ridonkulous.
a jump in short interest friday
LQMT is doomed! Doomed!! DOOMEDDDD!!!! and gloomed too...
.Lets remember Li said that LQMT needs Li/EONTEC and Li/EONTEC needs LQMT. He said neither party
can progress any further until this merge happens. Don't ask me where this was published. But it was.
I guess I'm trying to say is my money on Li
Akihisia Inouye was on the Board of LQMT. Good, if this is legit, the race is on. Time to sell! Sell!! Sell!!!

. $26,500 in trades today
Appears no one is hitting the BUY button either
No such thing for LQMT and I'm thinking hard about selling and taking what little profit I've realized over the past five years.
That post alone makes you a VERY intelligent person.
Reasonable, rational article - interesting jump in Apple R&D - even the author says, "Now, of course, I could be wrong and all of this information could turn out to mean nothing."
Nice post. Thanks.
There is hardly ever any hard news or verifiable facts to discuss about this company.
. He would only have to dump about half his shares to recoup his "investment" and then he could just let the rest ride to see what happens.
Will I end my investing career with total failures?? Decades of self destructive investing/gambling??
I get this sinking feeling that this con is about up. If Li really thought there were millions of dollars of money to be made, the deal would be farther along by now.
I think he discovered that there is nothing in the pipeline even reomotely profitable.
Hope I'm wrong.
