Glad to hear you're dreaming....'cause it looks like that's all you're gonna be doing for at least a few weeks.
NEOP up 10% on a down day. Lots of buys at the end of a day after a flatline week. Insider buys recently as well.
Maybe some news next week?
lol. TDGI losin' ground today and the board's getting feral. Are you still holding your shares?
jimmy's not gonna get the PPS up and away. he's made his alert public; now we wait for the company to open their books.
Wrong. I sold here. 100,000 k. If a courtesy 87k is all they could squeeze out of the congressional meeting they PR'ed, the prospects aren't as clear and bright as I thought.
GLTY
Like to see a creep to .10 before the news hits, but I'll take it anytime!
Welcome back Lowman! Good to have you back.
It's a start....

thanks $heff. Last question...for now: what percentage of bio picks do you sell on the news of results, approvals, etc vs. holding post-approval?
TIA
Still liking NRI.TO here with the 10 million dollar up front $$ and FDA decision due in early August
Or Tom to your Jerry
$heff, how does overall FA fit into your purchasing plans? Seems like many of these Bio/FDA plays worked great in the last run up of the DOW to almost 9K. With the trend in markets decidedly downward over the past couple of weeks, do you hold off on buying until the overall market stabilizes?
TIA
Same. Still holding the freebies with a keg of dry powder if the news comes.
Put another call in to DR today. He probably won't be fooled by the Aussie phone number a second time though!
But most (73%) sold. And 152 of 263 dumped all. Is this post intended to be a positive indicator? Or a "heads-up" on possible short term downward pressure? Just wondering what to make of the information the link reveals.
TIA
Jummy, are they doing any US ops yet? I see they have Boca Raton listed as a US address for offices here. Is their operation exclusively Canadian at this point?
TIA
I hold 40,000 and will buy more when the financials are released.
How is selling 2.5 million shares at 1/3 the current PPS friendly to me? Friendly would have been offering me a crack at some of those shares at .345 each, but that's the credit market we live in I suppose.
It says a lot that the company didn't make mention of the PPS of the offering in their PR.
In with 40,000 at .08 and happy to be in under the radar before the financials PR and 500k shares traded is an average volume day.
Filled in a matter of seconds at the ask once I removed the All or None request. The listed jobs advertised on the company's website was the clincher for me. GLTA and thanks Jimmy for the leg up on the DD.
LOL, nope, that was me. I finally got filled. Still hold 30k, but had to take some profit on my .04 shares.
I'll let the freebies ride and keep it on the watch list.
GLTYA who are still holding strong.
Don=crook is an equation I don't agree with. He owns a lot more shares than I do, and he bought his at a much higher cost average than I did. PK CEO crooks print and sell. DR hasn't done either.
Looking back at the timing of his previous buys, it seems to me that a deal was close; close enough for insiders to load up at .62 a pop. It obviously fell through for reasons we may never know.
That said, while it SUCKS that dozens, 100's, of med stocks have bottomed out and staged massive rallies while CTGI has moved from the BB to the PK exchange and floundered in the pennies and 5k share a day doldrums, there's no evidence of insider selling. I guess that's the upside of a 600 share day.
I only hope the LTC technology is all that DR hyped it to be and not another CO2 seperater-bust-scheme that didn't work, impressed nobody and only soaked up money.
I keep reminding myself that Frank must have seen something that he liked when he signed on. Hopefully it wasn't only a bushel full of CTGI shares that have long since been sold.
Sheff, you still hangin' tough with BDSI? There's been a lot of insider sells in tha past week or so.
I'd be real happy to buy shares at .345 as well if they were available.
NEOP: another insider buy on 15 June. 22,300 shares @ .95
TDAmeritrade won't let you buy this one. Who are you all using for your purchases? TIA
But aren't the company (BVTI) and the parent bankrupt?
Or any music for that matter. Not a single peep. That said, I'm sticking it out......for now.

Inked a deal with an industry titan for up to 100 million for their FDA pending topical anti-inflammatory medicine, Pennsaid. FDA ruling coming down in early August.

The stock barely hiccuped on the news today. Over 300 million OS, but if this news hit the wire last week, it would have spiked.
In for 10k at .33
Took a quick profit on NEPH. Thanks Sheff and GLTA with the run to FDA approval. I'll be back if it dips, but I'm a bit spooked by the bigger market picture to wait too long on the trigger these days.
How much SYMW did you purchase?
Hmmm, my recollection of posters in control of this board at the time of the run to the 2.30's and the FDA approval run is somewhat different.
IMO, they would have rationalized any insider sells as "just desserts" due to such a hard-working and visionary outfit.
Euphoria inspired the swagger to ridicule ANYONE who even suggestd that DR and crew were any less than perfect.
Nope, looking back, I'm sure any insider sells would have been taken as strong buy signals.
You can blame DR for lots of things, but not for your decision to not take profits.
Not an accurate indicator of success, to be sure, but it's better than seeing insiders bailing.
Many sub 1$ health/biotech/device companies hit rock bottom earlier this year and have amazingly rocketed to prices unimaginable in March. They have much bigger debt loads than CTGI and products with a much more limited scope.
They also have excitement, usually in the form of an FDA application about to be decided, a JV on the front burner or encouraging results from an early phase trial. The sector has been white hot. Check out the 3 month and the 5 day on NEPH, for example.
Unfortunately, CTGI currently generates the excitement of a stale cheese fart. We can only hope that there's some substantial negotiations quietly occurring, and that our poster boys, Frank and Richard, are leading the proceedings. They have the experience and the connections in the industry, and signing them up is one thing DR should get credit for.
If they're still ACTIVE with CTGI, we have a shot. If they've sold their positions and moved on.......well, let's hope that isn't the case....lol.
Finally pulled the trigger of NEPH.....a bit late to the party, but FDA approval pushes this over $1.75 minimum.
And I'd imagine FDA approval would ensure the Defense Dept ponies up some more money as well.
Sheff, looking beyond FDA approval, has the company indicated a market range for its products?
Bought NVAX (2.95) before the WHO declares a "global pandemic" later today.
Good luck. Please let us know if you get onto him.
Bought into NEOP for $1 today. Insiders are buying this up like crazy. Sales are up in the last Q, their Lymphoseek product is entering a 2nd Phase 3 trial (the first Phase 3 got fantastic reviews).
I especially like this from the last PR: "The initiation of the second Phase 3 study is a key milestone in the development of Lymphoseek for Neoprobe and we expect the achievement of additional milestones in the coming months.”
Here's the milestone I'm looking for:
"We continue to believe it will be necessary for us to identify a development partner or an alternative funding source in order to prepare for and fund the pivotal clinical testing that will be necessary to gain marketing clearance for RIGScan CR. In the past, we have engaged in discussions with various parties regarding such a partnership. We believe the recently clarified regulatory pathway approved by EMEA will assist us in those efforts."
Bio-techs and FDA 510k stocks have been rocketing lately. And some of these are companies with lesser products and much, much more debt than CTGI. (NEPH)
All we need is a PR that says, "this company is not completely dead" and we'll fly past .25
WTF Don?
And one more question about BVTI: how have you calculated the risk/reward equation with regard to their chapter 11 status? What makes you confident that BTVI will avoid wiping out the value of the common shares?
Hi investor911,
BVTI sure looks tempting, especially after the latest pullback. I see the company hopes to forge a collaboration in Europe.
Do you have any idea about the current FDA status for BiovaxID? Looks like the phase III trials were completed some time ago. Did the FDA request more information or is the company awaiting a final decision on the data they've already submitted?
TIA
Guess that was me projecting a bit, lol
