If they start missing their own stated timetables, it doesn't take a genius to know mngmt. will start taking hits to their credibility (not they have alot to begin with) ... most investors are already very skeptical of Pink Sheet stocks in general.
I hope for everyone's sake we don't get into a situation of mngmt. OVERPROMISING AND UNDERDELIVERING, and then backtracking with excuse after excuse... which I'd liken to chasing a Deadbeat to collect for a bad loan... you know, they're always 1 excuse away from making good on previous promises.

They already did announce a date... read the fifth parragraph of the Sept 12/06 N.R.;
http://biz.yahoo.com/iw/060912/0162261.html
The FLUFF N.R today won't do anything to help the stock... if FMNJ can't meet their own October timetable, FLUFF N.R.'s about future values mean very, very little.

Its the time when the rubber hits the road... FMNJ has already given the its own time-table... and frankly, I'll be suprised if this Pink-Sheet stock/issue can make their own deadline....

Tin, nickel soar over supply shortfall fears
Tuesday, October 17, 2006
Tin and nickel prices have soared to their highest levels in nearly two decades on supply fears.
Tin jumped to the highest since at least 1989 on a speculation that lower production from Indonesia and Bolivia will create a supply shortfall this year....

A couple months ago I was pounding the table lightly for FMNJ to get production rolling.... now, with the latest developments in Bolivia, I hope FMNJ mngmt. has the sense to put their efforts into OVERDRIVE to make production come to fruition/reality... so CHOP CHOP MEAT HEADS.
BTW, good thing I've been adding to my physical Silver Bullion holdings lately to reduce the risk of holding paper shares in mining companies... If you want to sleep well at night, I recommend starting a regular purchase of a small amount Silver Bullion every 2 or 4 weeks... using approx. 10% of your paycheck.
Whoever added to their physical Silver holdings a couple weeks ago when Silver was in the $10's say "i".
silver_bars says: "i"... and hopefully I'll be able to add more before it gets to $12.

Key words from todays news release...
"Pearl Asian starts processing the stockpiles today"
http://biz.yahoo.com/bw/060913/20060913006074.html
Bringing a Gold mine into production is very, very difficult... and it happens alot less often than most realize... over 99% of the attempted Gold exploration projects fail before getting into production... if PAIM can actually start production Gold, that'd be a very major development for the company.
Market cap. values of the majority of Junior Gold companies with actual Gold production currently between $50 Million(lower-side) and $500 Million(higher-side) market cap. ... so talk of Pennyland in PAIM shares in the not to distant future is not unrealistic if PAIM actually starts delivering on its Gold production promises.
Throwing out ideas...
Since we've got a small company that is understaffed... what do you guys think the possibilites are that we could organize a small group of shareholders to volunteer their time to update or redo the FMNJ web site;
General idea is;
(1) Organize a small group of FMNJ shareholders to act as a "Steering Committee" for the web site update or re-design.
(2) Elect/find someone to Liason with a FMNJ mngmt. representative that would be responsible for general web site content idea's/direction.
(3) Put out bids to 3 different web design firms for the FMNJ corporate web site re-design.
(4) Put on a fundraiser to raise funds for the web site update or re-design... IE: try to raise $100.00 from 25 different FMNJ shareholders... with approx. 4,000 shareholders, I'm sure we could find at least 25 who'd donate a $100 each... I think approx. $2,500 would give us a nice looking basic corporate web site.
(5) Once funds are raised... engage pro web design firm for the re-design.
Is something like that do-able?
My guess is... to expedite things, we'd need someone to volunteer that personally knows FMNJ mngmt. to act as a Liason and "Info Gatherer" to get this going and running quickly.
FMNJ should get that interview onto their web site...

... some of those drill results are right off the charts... some almost unheard of richnesses in Silver grades... although Cerro Rico is known to contain these types of grades also.
Its a Joint-Venture between Apex Silver and Apogee Minerals... still in exploration, no production yet (I think)... some super rich (off the charts) drill results being produced...

http://www.apogeeminerals.com/Operations/Bolivia/PulacayoPaca/default.aspx
I never said they weren't forthright, and I'm not asking for them to "walk on water" either... just asking for a little clarity on the location of what is "potentially" a milestone for the company... is it a Cerro Rico project?, or are they onto some other mining project somewhere else?
is providing the location of the project that difficult?.. maybe they're really running a secret prison for the CIA and need to keep the location hush-hush, lol?.
Oh well, I know the rules; wage a bigger risk to get a bigger reward... I guess the potential upside is; if this company was a well oiled machine, the share price would obviously be much higher.
Am I right to assume this "Pulatija Project" is located at Cerro Rico Mountain?... or is this some other project located eleswhere in Bolivia?...
some clarification would be appreciated, and probably by more than just myself.
I mean... who does FMNJ IR Dept. think we all are?... a bunch of CIA Investigators with nothing better to do than waste time trying to figure out if this deal has any substance to it or not?
* Google search for "Pulatija";
Your search - "Pulatija" - did not match any documents.

* Google search for "Cerro Rico";
Your search - "Cerro Rico"; - found 1,960,000 matches.
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=Cerro+Rico&btnG=Search&meta=
You also have to keep in perspective... FMNJ is working on a historic project, IMO... a Joint-Venture with the state Mining Union on the biggest Silver mine in history... so maybe my expectations of IR Dept. are a little higher than say; updating us on moving some dirt around on Moose pasture.
You think they would have been keeping the shareholders better updatd on the mining projects... especially since the energy projects are so long-term to income generation and subject to much larger risks.
Indicating Larger Captial deems it to risky to deploy large capital here... still to much risk of the unknown, IMO.
The Pulacaya Project???????????? Who?, what?, when?, why?, where?, and how?... doesn't have to be all at once.
Time to shake up the IR Dept. ... its a disgrace that nobody even knows what the "Pulacaya Project" is...
I guess that partially self-explains why this compnay is still a Pink Sheet stock.
F/A... what is the "Pulacaya Project"?... is that one of the old projects from a couple/few years ago, or is that one of the Cerro Rico viens?.
I think it would be extremely beneficial for FMNJ Mngmt/IR to provide more detailed information about the Mining operations, IE: anticipated production dates, production targets, definition of the Pulacaya Project, etc... etc...
Pan American Silver Corp. having strong success selling its own brand of Silver Coins and Bars.....
Pan American Silver Corp. The line of bullion products, each featuring Pan American ’s trademark “silver hammer ”, comprise .999 pure silver rounds and bars in one, five and ten ounce weights using silver supplied from Pan American ’s La Colorada mine in Mexico.

#3 from today's PR...
3) An agreement for the Pulacaya project. Roland Kemp, Vice President of B&B Bank and senior partner of Kemp & Associates, has entered into a mining tailings project agreement with Franklin Mining, Bolivia & COMIBOL. Franklin will retain 51% of project (tailings are produced when metallic ores are ground into fine powder to free the metal-bearing mineral).
http://biz.yahoo.com/iw/060906/0160165.html

My question is: which specific project is the "Pulacaya project"?... is that the name of one of the 4 viens?, all 4 viens , or another project altogether?.

Silver chart looking poised for nice breakout, IMO...
Jack Chan's breakout model finally confirms the much anticipated Break Out #4...
Prices in both ETFs are now approaching resistance. If the breakout model is correct, the resistance should not be a problem as prices should exceed it and challenge the May high in the next few weeks. Risk/reward on these two trades are very attractive, as we are risking 2% for a potential 20% return if the May highs are reached, and more if they are exceeded.

Flippers always look short-term... building value takes a while, and helping people can sometimes bring very high returns on capital... every business deal requires something different.
If FMNJ reaches a half billion dollar market cap. for a very short period of time, that'll probably be a result of the market forces in Silver... HOWEVER, if FMNJ reaches a half billion dollar market cap. and stabilizes (like ECU), the stability in value would probably be as a result of longer-term value created in the company.
FMNJ wont continue to get the opportunity to create any long-term value in any Cerro Rico operations unless its willing to genuinely help the locals, IMO.
Cerro Rico is a designated heritage site... as the mine has a history that dates back into the approx. 1,600's ... some of that history is bloody, with the lives of over 10,000 having perished in the mines over the centuries...

Some updates/news on the Humanitarian efforts FMNJ has been working on in Bolivia would also be appreciated.
If FMNJ mngmt. can steer the company into production soon... valuing the company from a comparison method, and assuming FMNJ has been in production for 6 full months, I think we could be sporting a market cap. somewhat similar to where ECU SILVER MINING INC. is now... ECU currently trades on the CDNX... ECU's market cap. is currently $622 million, a year ago ECU's M/C was only around $50 million.

Up until approx. a year ago... ECU was having some fairly major problems whiched basically halted their Silver production ... but ECU managed to get the Silver production in Mexico going again... and things on the ground at ECU generally have gradually improved since seriously re-starting production.
