As a 4+ year long, all l can say is that no one really knows. However, if you consider the evidence of the accomplishments of the company, and the direction it is moving in, it is hard NOT to imagine that they will get there soon...
These accomplishments include, but are not limited to:
1-Lifting of the FDA hold on enrollment.
2-Settlement of/ winning of many frivolous lawsuits.
3-Publishing of article showing efficacy backed by 69 brain surgeons.
4-Release of blinded, interim data showing efficacy.
5-Settlement of issues with Cognate, renewal of manufacturing agreements, and Cognate gaining approval to manufacture everywhere NWBO is applying for approval.
6-Settlement of SEC violations.
7-Hiring of David Innes and Dr. Duffy.
8-Completion of DCVAX-L phase lll trial and focusing on SAP submissions.
Although all of these, and other milestones have taken longer than longs, physicians, and patients have hoped for, when taken collectively it is undeniable (by those without nefarious motivation) that NWBO is moving in a VERY positive direction and (imho) moving inexorably towards success including, but not limited to, RA approval, historic treatment of many different cancers, obtaining a large market share of this treatment, and a corresponding meteoric increase in pps. It is important to understand that this may take longer than many consider reasonable, but one should consider that this company has very limited resources and manpower for all the work needed to accomplish the tasks remaining...
U = funny!!!! ....:))
“pleased as punch”... made me lol... thanks!
Senti, l will be pleased as punch when we don’t have to deal with these pesky shorts, BP bs pushers, and the gloom and doomers... I believe that time is just around the corner...:)
Symbolic, not symbiotic... otherwise a really good catch!!!
Thanks JC....:)
Yep.......
Something big is afoot... as of yet I don’t know what it means...???????

Well... I’ve made no airs about my financial prowess, and in particular my experience regarding stocks. I call myself a rube and that is only the truth. I am not stupid, just ignorant in this area...
Biosec.... help me out on this $150m filing... are they:
Selling shares???
Raising the shelf???
Selling an interest in the company???
WHAT????
Is it a positive or a negative???
Yes, l know the usual short suspects will say negative... smh
I agree Kam. Why would Duffy leave Merck for NWBO if he is not an appraiser or there is no interest from Merck??? Also, why is there no news of another small cash raise yet??? Based on NWBO’s burn rate, they should need more cash by now. Maybe there is already some sort of financial assistance in place from Merck that hasn’t been PR’d yet...
Anyone worried about this (sorry if already posted):
https://www.foxnews.com/health/glioblastoma-tumor-cant-be-measured-clinical-trial
Every news over the past two years hasn’t been topline data and/or fda approval...:)
biosec wrote: “...will simply be seen as a part of NWBO’s efforts in preparation for uplisting, in my opinion.”
In your opinion, will this uplisting attempt occur after topline is announced, and the pps exceeds what, $2...??? or will they try another means...???
Patience grasshopper.... the longs day is coming...
And right soon...:)
So... let’s summarize:
-Lawsuits.... settled.
-FDA hold on enrollment... lifted.
-Paper co-authored by 69 respected brain surgeons... published.
-Interim data reveal... impressive and encouraging.
-Four year survival of DCVAX-L patients.... documented.
-SEC accusations of NWBO wrongdoing.... settled.
-Cognate ramp up of manufacturing capability.... completed.
-Hiring of Merck executive.... done.
-Unblinding of phase lll trial, merger/partnership/buyout with/by BP resulting in pps explosion.... imminent...:)
I’ve asked previously, what would be the affect on pps if Merck paid $500 million for 5 percent or $1billion for 10 percent of the company when the stock is currently selling for $0.24...??? I think we know the answer....:)
Kam wrote: “on the other hand , anyone know why no financings until now? ”
Intriguing question.... one would think that NWBO would have already burned through the small amount of money they previously raised. Are they being funded by Merck and this hasn’t been announced yet??? One has to wonder. Maybe 2020 will bring these, and other such issues into focus...:)
Idunno wrote:”I hope to call them something else.”
Me too.... BROKE.....:)
Sorry Jack... l am just a gullible rube that is afraid my investment will be yanked out from under me at the last minute. Most sane people don’t have to deal with my bad luck...:)
Jack, there would be so many lawsuits it wouldn’t even be funny.... she would come out with much less $$$ that way after the courts got finished with her and she knows it...
Well, well, well.... looks like the boss brought in new blood.... although not too impressed. Ever seen “Labyrinth”... with David Bowie as the head goblin??? There is a scene where these rocks are yelling “Go back!!! for the path you are on leads to certain doom!!!” Your post was just like that, and just like in the movie, they said when you hear that you know you are on the right track... Color me simply dazzled by your irrefutable logic...;)
Pardon my ignorance, Flip, but does this mean that NWBO is receiving income from the conversion of warrants??? TIA
Hey Angelo:
Interesting... l remember $7 billion and you remember $8 billion.... you say potato and l say spud...:)
I truly remember $7 billion but I have no problem with your version of history. Either way I think we are in good hands with LP negotiating on our (and her) behalf...:)
SK wrote: ”or before the open on the next day.”
THAT gave me a start this morning... thanks... never considered that... good thought...let’s hope this is what they do...
Chris said that LP told him (in effect) that she wouldn’t take anything less than $21 billion... he said they were talking about a $7 billion buyout of another company and he asked would she take that... her reply (as l recall) was ‘maybe three times that ‘... so l doubt she would consider $5 pps AND that coincides with her ‘go big or go home ‘ mantra... take it for what it’s worth to you...
Is that what you think it is about??? I don’t think it is about PR’s at all... Don’t a large majority of stockholders have to vote on the buyout price??? That’s what I think it is...:)
Excellent point Kam.... l believe the deal is done also and the buyout/partnership numbers will depend upon the results of the trial. My guess is somewhere in the $20-40B range.
Thank you for the reply.... tryn2 is my (Auburn) car tag. Some people accuse me of it being sexual but it isn’t. For myself, it is rhetorical, meaning tryn2 live a good life, tryn2 be a good man, tryn2 pass the car in front of me, etc...
Also
Yo estudio espanol dose annyos.
But it was 45 years ago....:)
3,115 shares in the first 35 minutes of trading.... incredibly low. I don’t think it is a halt.... maybe the quiet before the storm???
EDIT: my bad... 9/11
Should have known... sorry.
Market closed today???
EDIT #2:
NYSE set to hold a moment of silence to remember 9/11
The nation remembers Sept. 11, 2001, on Wednesday, 18 years after terrorists hijacked four planes and killed 2,983 in New York City, at the Pentagon in Washington, D.C., and in a Pennsylvania field. The New York Stock Exchange, which closed for six days after the 2001 attacks, pauses for a
!!!one-minute moment of silence!!!
at 9:20 a.m. ET on Wednesday morning.
Ok... so... odd.
I wish Merck would buy 10% of NWBO for a paltry $1 billion....
Would do wonders for the stock price...:)
Well, if a major BP has genuine interest in purchasing NWBO, l don’t think proximity has anything to do with attending an informational presentation. But hey, it COULD have been any number of executives from Merck. Here’s hoping it was...
Were Merck to buy 10% of NWBO for , say $500 million (just a penny or two for them), the pps of NWBO would instantly go to $5 a share, and then all would see what sort of naked short interest we have because there will either be a massive squeeze or none at all, depending on who you believe... l think LP believes there is a significant amount...:)
Flipper wrote:” I suggest you sit down and watch The Money Pit. Tell me what "Two Weeks" means.”
So you’re saying NWBO is testing missiles...:)
Occam’s razor says Duffy didn’t just jump from a successful position at BP Merck to tiny startup NWBO for no reason. Either he has sniffed out that DCVAX is the next big thing (unlikely because where would he get any additional information than what is available to us) or his hire is a huge indicator that LP is in negotiations with Merck for either partnership or buyout. My guess is that currently Merck and NWBO are far apart on numbers and an agreement has been made for Merck to LEND Duffy to NWBO to help them get DCVAX-L across the finish line, with as many indications as possible. When this happens, Merck will have a sure thing, and buy NWBO for the amount LP is pushing for.
Sojo, a big YES to both your conjectures and the menu. After M&A’s, dinner is on me...:))
Sojo wrote:”BMY and Gilead both have around $80B market cap. BMY bought Celgene which in turn bought JUNO for $9B whereas Gilead bought KITE for $11B. Merck is the $200B gorilla that has yet to follow with a major acquisition and I think they are hungry for one, IMO.”
This is EXACTLY what I am talking about...:)
Merck lends out their executive to guide their newly acquired property to fda approval....
The deal is not required to be PR’d yet because the terms are not yet set...
I am actually up near Cullman, but a cup of coffee and a good NWBO discussion could happen tomorrow if you want....:)
From the PR:
In his roles at Merck, Dr. Duffy has been involved in the Keytruda development program from its early days through its wide commercialization. He has gained extensive experience with clinical trial designs and strategies, clinical results and feedback from medical professionals.
Sounds to me like he is going to help NWBO get fda approval and that approval for as many indications as possible. Again, I am wondering why Merck would just let him go to a competitor.
I appreciate your take on this, and you are more in a position to know than me, but l wouldn’t rule out the possibility of an acquisition. I remember bsb saying a deal was likely to have already taken place and buyout numbers being based on the results of this phase lll trial. The possibility exists that Merck is merely watching over their acquisition by lending out their exec to ensure their newly acquired product will be approved in the most advantageous way possible.... as it has been said he did the same for them, getting as many indications approved as possible. Unless they had just fired the guy out of hand, why would they let a man with his kind of experience just traipse over to their competitor...???
Only my mom. Gave her permission to die. She was holding on, and concerned only, for my sister.... I listened to her heartbeat slow and then stop. It’s been over 20 years now and I’m still not over it. Never forget her saying how grateful she was for the life God gave her... and I’m talking about a person whose mother and father died by the time she was 16, leaving her and her other brothers and sisters to continue as a family... she was 3rd oldest of 8 siblings... she was filled with grace.
Being retired, l play golf almost every week. It doesn’t hurt that my son teaches golf for a living and makes a decent living doing something he loves. When we play golf together he routinely shoots under par but I shoot mainly in the low to mid 80’s and sneak in an occasional high 70’s round. People who do not play golf actually have no idea how difficult the game is and the amount of accuracy and skill it takes to play one hole in a satisfactory number of strokes, much less an entire round.
In the same way, I suspect that most of the people here have no idea the amount of hard work and dedication it takes to get a new therapy submitted and approved through ONE RA, much less FOUR. Hence the reason for the gigantic amount of complaining that occurs on this board on a daily basis. For myself personally, if NWBO doesn’t unblind in the next month or two, l will be forced to rejoin the work force and my frequency and ability at golf will surely decline...:)
So say you. We will see. Happy to provide you with another commercial for the shorts.
