will tht wont be easy for goog to give up 1.5B to Vringo and focus on higher damaging things first. I guess ftc case damages will be in tens of billions of $$ that case will surely effect Google quartely results.

ppl are saying Google will only give settlement/buy out option only after they see things are going bad for them in trial but then Vringo will see they are winning the case will they accept the cheap offer by Google(I gave ex:700M)

Google folks might feel initial need to offer settlement or buy out in the trial, but then Will VRNG accept cheap GOOG offer if they feel they are going to win in the trial.

then they go for big 1.5B instead of 700M google has offered. Or may be Apple might come forward we will offer 1B, 300M more than Google.

If it pans out well VRNG stock price can be $30+ or it can be $20 or just $10.

there will be no pullback, it will open $5+ on bad Google news and have a nice run up in anticipation of settlement anytime during monday because of latest GOOGLE Worries.

Can you imagine 1 serious issue and 1 moderate patent case issue hitting them on friday?

what do you think will happen to Google share price on monday 2%-3% price drop(conservative) and may be 5% drop possible.on the other side VRNG will have nice run up $5+ and above.

Exactly. I have posted we can reach that magical figure with past damages and royalties. GOOGLE has no expert opinions to present on these 2 important categoris. Imagine VRNG was give 3% royalties instead of .5% royalties since GOOG has no expert opionion on this jury will hear only VRNG expert opinions and he might award 2% which is still way higher than triple damages.

Also i mentioned reason for removing willful infringement is because it will be impossible to prove willful infringement and not all cases are same, it is not required to have WI by default.

Yes i beleive so. Bing search and yahoo search also work same way like Google. If google ends up paying big settlement, MS and Yahoo gets ready to face a patent case and they wont give much resistance either, they would simply pay for the patents and carry on with thier work.

There are not Google i guess, you cheated by not getting approp patents and earned hundrends of billions on it and dont want to settle yet.

As per karma, GOOG has to face consequences they will get biten FTC/Us regulators/US governement getting ready to sue GOOGLE now.

You are right Amer. Stout should literally kill Goog folks and no breathing space should be given. On top of that GOOG cannot introduce any expert opinions to retaliate VRNG legal team. Google should be looking pathetic in the court room to make them give what ever is requested by VRNG.

Rain loosing willful infringement doesnt mean we cannot get to that amount.vrng have won other limines were google cannot introduce expert opinions on how the damages are calculated and royalties are calculated? right there vrng can press more in those areas.

As per vrng legal team they might have thought prooving the willful infrgement might be a hectic task/impossible task. how do they proove it they did wilful infringement? do they compare the lycos code base with earliest google code base compare the code, i dont know how vrng can proove this? certainly there should have been some limitations vrng team can go with.

you know once google battle is won we have 1B or more patent cases possible on MS and Yahoo right? with that stock price might go beyond a house/car. If google case is won next comes PR patent case on MS imagine the hype> GOOGLE CASE OVER, MS NEXT and where stock can go.

Again my Question on 100 exhibits: How long it will take to process those 100 exhibits. Some one in legal back ground pls explain what this means to the trial, or they going to change the course of the trial or they just useless ones just aimed to slow down the trial process??

If thats easy to do the Patch work why they would't do it earlier. Do they want to change the code that is making Billions for them, instead they would like to keep it same working code and may be offer a buy out or pay minimum royalities like .5 or 1% which is not much compared to what they are earning. They will definitely do risk assessment/ROI is it beneficial to keep things same way and mint billions out of it or modify the code which you never know works the same way?

but you know other limines came in VRINGOS favour meaning Google has less experts opinions to present to jury than Vringo. Damage Calculations/Royalty calculations came favourable to Vringo.

Rain now we might be looking for 2B-3B but instead we might be in 600M-1B range. I guess 600M is enough for VRINGO they are not expecting much. If VRINGO presses for 3B they might actually delay the trial for years by appeals etc. VRINGO is looking for 600M which is huge win but for Google it is quarters/dimes coin currency.

This way it works out for VRINGO/GOOG and investors.

I guess everyone is timing it right?? If FTC/US regulators SUE's Google it is said to be biggest case on a corporate gaint since 1990's antitrust case on Microsoft.And then Microsoft added Google as a defendent in its patent case.

Who knows what's next coming up for GOOGLE in short term. Google stock is definitely going to take a hit loosing $100 to $650 range.Never know even into 500's. So there main objective will be doing something that will reduce the pressure they are facing from all angles.

So is it even worth for Google spending all its time in fighting VRINGO in weak case. May be they need to deal with bigger issues dealing with tens of Billions $$$. If Google is in correct minds they will try to settle with Vringo and concentrate at bigger problems in hand.

So who is desperate now? you??
