AN Observation this morning. Since no buying or selling is taking place I expect the MMs will take this down. Not a pleasant thought
so I may be wrong.
I for one am waiting on the permit process to be approved and released. Until then we wait.
no drama for me, I am keeping a clear head and waiting on a good gust of wind.
Oh I plan on adding to my treasure chest at every opportunity.
We ARE IN THE RIGHT BUSINESS.
Copper Rises as U.S. Housing, Durables Data Ease Demand ConcernJoe Richter Wednesday, June 27, 2012 9:17:19
June 27 (Bloomberg) -- Copper rose the most in a week as a measure of U.S. home sales and orders for durable goods in May climbed more than expected, easing concern that demand will fade with slowing growth in the U.S.
An index of pending home resales rose 5.9 percent to 101.1, matching a two-year high and exceeding the 1.5 percent gain forecast by economists in a Bloomberg survey, figures from the National Association of Realtors showed today. Orders for durable goods rose 1.1 percent, the first advance in three months, a Commerce Department report showed. That was higher than the 0.5 percent median forecast of 76 economists surveyed by Bloomberg.
“There’s a better tone to the market, which had gotten pretty battered recently,” William O’Neill, a partner at Logic Advisors in Upper Saddle River, New Jersey, said in a telephone interview. “The housing data is starting to look good, and some builders are indicating there’s been a definite improvement.”
Copper futures for September delivery gained 1.1 percent to settle at $3.3565 a pound at 1:21 p.m. on the Comex in New York, the biggest increase since June 19. Prices have fallen 12 percent this quarter amid concern that growth in China is slowing and Europe’s debt crisis is deepening.

ASHEBORO — The Hibachi Grill building on East Dixie Drive has been stripped of copper pipes and all wiring containing copper. The Hibachi Grill has been closed and the building vacant for several months.
The building owner reported to Asheboro police on June 24 that the thefts appear to have taken place over several weeks and the estimated damage could exceed $50,000.
According to the police report, the first entry to the building was at the rear and the copper water lines were cut from the water heaters. Then, the suspect(s) went to the roof and removed the copper and wiring from the air conditioning units.
Inside, electrical wiring and the copper water fixtures from the ceiling to the buffet tables were cut and removed. Copper water lines along a wooden fence were also removed.
nothing is safe anymore.
copper in demand the dishonest way.
Trains were delayed Tuesday morning on the Montreal-Deux Montagnes line because of theft.
Nothing was stolen from passengers.
Instead, copper wiring had been ripped from train tracks sometime between 5:55 and 7:15 a.m.
The wires were ripped out between the Roxboro and Bois Franc stations, cutting off power to the traffic control lights that tell engineers if it is safe to proceed or not.
Pierre-Luc Paquette of the AMT said that several trains had to be delayed while the urgent and necessary repairs were made.
He said that the commute home should be without incident.
The AMT has notified police and CN, which is responsible for the tracks, about the theft.
silvergun--Dont get greedy--save me some for tomorrow. lol

But Shanghai base metals fell, led by aluminium after news
that China's Henan province will be cutting power fees for its
aluminium smelters fueled fears of further overcapacity.
The most active October ShFE aluminium contract
fell 3.4 percent to its lowest since April 2009 at 14,990 yuan,
pulling prices the entire Shanghai base metal complex down by 2
percent before the Shanghai Futures Exchange ended trading at
0700 GMT.
The most-active ShFE October copper contract
dropped over 1 percent to 53,480 yuan at one point from a high
of 54,480 yuan earlier in the session. It closed the day 0.8
percent lower after paring some losses.
"We first noted about 20,000 lots of copper being sold
within 2 minutes on the ShFE and the next thing we knew, LME
base metals were falling," said the LME trader.
All eyes are on the European leaders summit to be held in
Brussels on June 28-29. The summit will be the 20th time EU
leaders have met to try to resolve the debt crisis, but
investors were doubtful that the meeting would yield any
substantive measures to solve the region's protracted debt
crisis.
Demand for all base metals in China remains flaccid, as
downstream industries reel from slowing domestic growth and a
fall in demand for Chinese exports from major economies,
especially Europe - China's top trade partner.
Besides overcapacity issues in aluminium, traders also noted
weak fundamentals in Chinese zinc, given high overall
stockpiles and soft demand.
ballstreet ---first are you still in the dog house?? was that Imcat in action on you SIRGE post?? lol
Chinese copper market accounts for 40% of global consumption
A major share of the copper market´s regional growth stems from China, the largest market for copper, accounting for approximately 40% of the global consumption. Demand for copper in the country is underpinned by the rapid economic growth, massive investments in developing electricity transmission network, and rising consumption in telecommunications and power generation industries. The global copper market is projected to reach 27.5 million metric tons by the year 2017. Demand for copper to a large extent mirrors the global economy trends with its consumption closely tied to the fortunes of construction and industrial production markets.Besides resurgence in economic recovery in world markets, future growth in copper consumption is expected to be driven by increasing penetration of the metal in applications

Copper has grown at an average 4% rate every year since 1900, but it's still an often overlooked commodity. But copper is about to take off higher. . Copper is the forgotten precious metal.
But, it's also the metal that keeps the economy humming.
Copper consumption has grown at an average annual rate of 4% since 1900. China and India, needs loads of this element to meet its modernization requirements for electricity and infrastructure.
Copper is also used in today's currency, where most U.S. coins are actually 92% copper, and 8% nickel.
There's no denying that, given the choice, nearly everyone prefers gold. It's valuable, it's seductive and it's mystical.
But despite gold's much more vaunted history, copper - the much humbler metal - could be positioning itself to upstage gold.
Especially as Beijing calls for a new commodity backed currency. China's sitting on 38% of the copper market. Who's to say they won't push for a copper-backed international currency?
No matter what China does, copper demand isn't going to slow down anytime soon.
SIRG--So the saga continues---Monday it will be back to .0093
.
sirg---scottrade is down---can some one tell me the bid-ask this morning
SaltyMutt---SIRG---Its about time you rolled out of bed. I must confess it was I that purchased the 5000 shares at .0071. Somebody had to do it. My order was a lot bigger but that was all

Looks like buying into SIRG is a smart move.

Uses of CopperBy: Want To Know It
A few days ago I wrote about who discovered copper. Today, I am going to list some of the most common uses of copper in the world today.
Uses of Copper
•Copper is used to pipe water supplies. The metal is also used in refrigerators and air conditioning systems.
•Computer heat sinks are made out of copper as copper is able to absorb a high amount of heat.
•Magnetrons, found in microwave ovens, contain copper.
•Vacuum tubes and cathode ray tubes both use copper.
•Some copper is added to fungicides and nutritional supplements.
•As a good conductor of electricity, copper is used in Copper wire, electromagnets and electrical relays and switches.
•Copper is a great water-proof roofing material. It has been used for this purpose since ancient times.
•Some structures, such as the Statue of Liberty, are made with copper.
•Copper is sometimes combined with nickel to make a corrosion resistant material that is used in shipbuilding.
•Copper is used in lightning rods. These attract lightning and cause the electrical current to be dispersed rather than striking, and possibly destroying, a more important structure.
•Copper(II) sulfate is used to kill mildew.
•Copper is often used to color glass. It is also one component of ceramic glaze.
•Many musical instruments, particularly brass instruments, are made out of copper.
lmcat---there is one more thing you are overlooking---MOMENTUM :) a very big factor.
SIRG will see .05+ when funding is announced. :)
CopperRocks ---yes it is very sad. positive thoughts can make you successful, negative never will.
administrators will delete this post because it does not fit their agenda.
tebdrew ---I think 99.9% of us feel just as you stated. My WAG is
funding will be announced when te permits have been released officially. So we wait.
Mutiny on the SIRG SHIP. i CALL THIS A NON WORK DAY. Pass the the double ration of rum.
If ROD is going to remain silent. how about an email to his investors?
COMMUNICATION is necessary or the ship will flounder. WAVES
will swamp us and wash us overboard.
ok if logic does not overwhelm us then just surprize us
with actions that we must dig from the deep.
its results I want however I get them. GO SIRG!!!
lmcat---The ticket prce for the people standing on the wharf
will probably reach .05 before long. That is the option price for all the SIRG officers. So that looks like the first bar to cross. We know Rod paid at least .20 for his 1.9 million shares.
My WAG is .05 pps will be achieved before production starts. After that ??? I will stop there. After production starts. WOW
time to dream!!!
yes however it will prove positive progress towards their long term goals. tomorrow is june 15---so soon permits is the only
log jam . when released the spring will go BOING.
eddyimano---maybe tomorrow :) SIRG
DeeDog---SIRG yesterday 130500 trying for 176200 today
I guess some are waiting for the rocket to blast off. Well
I have an announcement to make. Its never too late but the ticket just gets higher.
Goode luck to you and all that realize everything will fall into place
lmcat ---lol---I was responsible for half the volume today, I couldnt stand the " QUIET" gotta keep this ball rolling.
when this goes to .018 I have doubled my money. KINDA was hoping more would jump aboard today. maybe tomorrow.
ok its very quiet---- However all the right things are being done. Soon the decibels will be raised. I am ready for all the good things that will come. Sirg is in a great position to succeed.
And yes I get very nervous when it gets quiet. Ready for good stuff to be released!!!!!
