I don't really care. Once the loan comes dilution isn't an issue.
OT: Replied that email seems to work.
Posting negative messages complaining about the PPS really isn't constructive to the investment climate. I realize the market will do what it will do regardless of what is said here but it can't help. The fact is XKEM has been in a range from the mid .03s to the low .02s since late July when the price stopped declining.
Please update.
Figured I'd let you do that one.
Hey Caby that post doesn't speak to well of women.....lol
Conference on advances in medicine opens in Kumasi
http://english.people.com.cn/200610/10/eng20061010_310340.html
A four-day international conference on "Advances in Medicine," opened in Ghana's second biggest city Kumasi on Monday, reported the Ghana News Agency.
Participants from the United States, Nigeria, Cote d'Ivoire, Burkina Faso and Uganda will be updated at the conference, which is the fourth of its kind, in the management of cardiovascular diseases; high risk obstetric care; trauma management and road accident prevention; recent advances in sickle cell and cancer screening and management, which are all very relevant to medical practice in the West Africa Sub-Region.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Dr Anthony Nsiah-Asare, Chief Executive of Ghana's Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital, pointed out that, with the changing lifestyle resulting in the development of diseases, which were hitherto uncommon in the country, there was the need for medical personnel to speed up in responding to the changing health needs of the people.
He said medical personnel could only do that, if they cultivated the culture of constant renewal of their knowledge in medicine, adding that, the conference would provide them with the opportunity to keep pace with developments in the profession so as to enhance their capacity to deliver better service to their patients.
He called on health institutions to make refresher courses and post-basic and post-graduate training a priority by making adequate budgetary allocations for sponsorship of their staff for such training programs.

Hinch check out RB's alexa.com rating and then check out Ihubs. Nobody even goes to RB.
Do you mean online buy orders or any buy orders?
Sorry I didn't realize I had ignores on J/K :)
You're right but I think most flippers coming in would see the price channel and want to sell in the .03s. Flippers are a good thing here because they will increase the buying pressure without news IMO. To me it seems very clear that this is bottom and we are going up again.
This is bottom IMO. We could close yesterdays high .0265 with a little pressure.
Exactly we look to be in a bullish price channel continuation. If we close green I think chartists will agree since we are testing the low of 10/3 at the open today. I have no problem going up and down within the range as long as it is tilting upwards.
http://stockcharts.com/education/ChartAnalysis/priceChannel.html
Yes that's why I think today is bottom again.
I was doing that last week when you were gone. Absolutely no dry powder here at the moment.
On 9/15 the last time we bottomed we had 7.9 million shares traded but it ended up a green day and turned us back going toward the top of the range.
Morning. The calm before the storm. And I mean that in a positive way.
I agree we will bounce back up. I still see us moving to the top of the trendline again .035-.04 before shareholder meeting.
Oh maybe. I was looking at it in context of his other posts. You may be right.
No it was negative when he's telling people to take a construction class. He could of just posted valuable information without insulting the people here who aren't familiar with construction projects as we are.

As I said I expect the factory to be complete and operational in Spring to Fall 2007 range and think it will be a pleasant surprise if the factory is done this year which is why I brought up the topic of the Nigerian website saying 2006 for factory completion. But don't you think your last post was a bit negative?

Thanks I will try to find out this week.

Thanks. That would be real good IMO. My experience with construction always has me betting on not meeting schedules. If they beat the schedule that will be good news IMO.

'plant will be ready for full-scale production by 2006'
This is off of the Xechem Nigeria website. I'm curious has this been updated or is it old? If it has been updated to say 2006 we may be in for a pleasant surprise. I'm expecting plant completion anywhere from Spring to Fall of next year. Has anyone been folowing the Nigeria website?

I would imagine some of that money going to SCD unless they don't need it. It would be nice if they would have mentioned it. Still that kind of money flowing in to Nigeria is a good sign IMO.

No problem I haven't been following this board but I own shares and am anticipating that it will all be good when the NOBO comes out.

Multi-billionaire Bill Gates visits Obasanjo in Ota
October 9th, 2006
http://www.businessdayonline.com/?c=132&a=8985
Bill Gates, American multi-billionaire and microsoft icon, visited President Olusegun Obasanjo at the weekend in his Ota farm, Ogun State.
Oluremi Oyo, senior special assistant (Media) to the President, briefing newsmen at the end of the meeting, said Obasanjo briefed Gates, who was accompanied by his wife, Belinda, on the state of the Nigerian economy.
Oyo said Obasanjo spoke on his administration’s achievements in the agricultural subsector, especially the effort to achieve food security for the country.
Oyo said Gates assured the president that the Bill and Belinda Foundation, founded by him and the wife, would give more assistance to Nigeria in the fight against poverty and diseases.
Oyo quoted Gates as saying that the foundation would help the country to fight tuberculosis, polio and HIV/AIDS.
Oyo said Gates also pledged continuous assistance to the continuing research for a cure for the deadly HIV virus.
During their two-day visit, the Gates will, under the auspices of their Foundation, monitor the progress Nigeria has made in the fight against HIV/AIDS and poverty.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Obasanjo has a long-standing relationship with Gates, who had in recent times shown tremendous interest in Africa and made funds available for the fight against poverty and diseases on the continent.
Early this year, Gates, Obasanjo and British Prime Minister Tony Blair were on a panel of discussants at the World Economic Summit in Davos, Switzerland during which poverty and HIV/AIDS in Africa were in focus.
Thanks, I didn't know.
Does the Nobo come out today? Do you know what time?
Good. It has a tendency to go up after you buy. See it just did...
White, I have never met an individual that enjoys having negative thoughts and emotions. I find it amazing how many people think we want to share that unpleasant experience with them about our investments. Myself, I sell the stocks that make me feel like that instead.
Strange how they do it whenever the stock reverses back up as it seems to be now or right after it makes a new peak and they just sold. It is almost like they are trying to get cheap shares by being dishonest.......but of course we know they are just trying to protect us from our bad investment decisions instead.

I was told when I called the main reason for the authorized share increase was for employee stock option etc and to meet contractual obligations. The other option would be a reverse split which aint going to happen. As knowles said it is possible that it is needed to increase asset value to get the non-dilutive loans even though they won't say that. And of course an insurance policy if they didn't get the loans which they said they expect to get. The last paragraph looks like it could also be insurance against a hostile takeover. Probably a combination of factors IMO.
Substantial dilution is not an issue unless they are lying. This is why the loans will have a dramatic impact on PPS because it means no dilution. I suggest you call the IR and ask your questions to him. I'm voting in favor and I'd say it is a pretty much done deal since nobody wants a reverse split.
If you are not sure you should call and ask questions IMO.

Loan news will move this because it means no further dilution and it validates future earnings of 200 million a year. Of course the Nigerian government and Doctor Pandey have expressed that that number may reach 2 billion on Nicosan alone down the road. http://www.tribune.com.ng/03082006/features.html
They have already said they do not intend to use dilution to build the factory. To date they have not been delayed at all with Nigerian operations because of the loans delay. So the delay is really one of impatient investors not one of operations. You may be confusing A/S increases with O/S.
You may get a clearer understanding of the situation if you call thier investors relations guy and ask him your questions related to the A/S increase.
Good Luck.
Bullish Price Channel Continuation - October 24th Meeting
I am starting to think there is a growing perception that the A/S increase was needed to get the loans. While I don't think this is the case I am actually starting to entertain a contrary view to what most people here are thinking about the October 24th meeting and its effect on PPS if the loan news doesn't come by then.
Obviously if loan news comes before then we will fly but I also think we will get a bump after the meeting even without news. I think once people realize the sky hasn't fallen the anticipation of news after the meeting may grow and drive PPS up and explode once it comes.
We seem to be in a bullish price channel continuation (Higher lows and higher highs within the price channel) and moving toward the .035 -.04 range again which may indicate that the market is not looking unfavorably on the meeting anymore. If it was we would be in a bearish price channel continuation IMO leading to the meeting with lower highs and lower lows within the channel.

Wow! Just thought I'd pop in to take a look at the board and am amazed at the amount of negators/bashers that posted here since yesterday afternoon. I guess they figured out that we bounced and are headed toward .04 from the looks of things. It's not even Halloween.....
Have a good time. Hope you come back to a big surprise!
Just tap the ask into the close. No dry poweder here.
No raise it everytime they do volume follows.
OT: AWYB looks OK to me unless the NOBO is well below expectations. I got in at .20 and .40 on two seperate buys but if I got in at .06 I'd be thinking it moved too!I think the price is holding FWIW. Which probably isn't much....
XKEM Nigeria is basically in business with the Nigerian government. Nigeria will recieve 7.5% royalties from the sale of Nicosan estimated in the future to equal 150 million dollars a year placing Xechem's revenue from Nicosan alone at 2 billion dollars. I realize we are going to have to wait for those numbers but from my point of view XKEM basically has a government backed monopoly in Nigeria.
