StrateVOIP
VOIP presents an enormous opportunity for telecom related service providers including Carriers, Telcos, ISPs, Cable Companies, Master Resellers, and Entrepreneurs.
Many organizations are searching for a branded consumer VOIP service in which they can offer to their local clientele without the financial risk and time to market hassles of setting up a phone company.
StrateVOIP Provides the Complete Solution.
StrateVOIP is a 100% Complete Turn-Key Private Label VOIP Provider Solution. This solution has been designed from the ground up for Service Providers who want to offer VOIP to their client base.
The StrateVOIP Carrier Driven Platform is built specifically for companies who want to offer a Voice solution to their clients but don't want to invest the time and money in switches, hardware, software, carrier contracts and licenses, as well as in elaborate websites and sophisticated billing software.
Included in the Turn-Key solution is access to the StrateVOIP Proprietary Backend Software engine, which was designed from the ground up to support Carriers, Telcos, ISPs, Cable Companies, Master Resellers, Entrepreneurs and other related service providers. The StrateVOIP MIS engine can fulfill any and all requests one may have who is gearing up to offer a VOIP related service.
Time is of the essence in the newly emerging VOIP industry, that's why StrateVOIP exists.
For more information about StrateVOIP, visit the web site: www.stratevoip.com or send an e-mail to: info@stratevoip.com.
This is great news! For many developing countries local folk cannot afford a computer let alone a broadband connection also.
Almost everyone however has a phone (landline) or cell and can now call the US for a fraction of the cost.
I believe the questions should be about VozBrasil and who and what they are. As mentioned StrateVoip is a turnkey solution where the software is included. This could mean a initial cost for the product, ongoing maintenance payments and/or service (usage) fees.
Still, this is great news IMVHO.
Low,
Ok, I think I got it. Thanks alot.
One more question(s): I have Ameritrade. In the past I have put in a buy at x.xx and it bought at that or below and I have also put in a sell at x.xx but sold higher. I would call that a stop loss but Ameritrade has 4 different types. Do you use Ameritrade? I guess I can just call and explain.
Thanks again, I appreciate the replies!! Good luck!
Ok, so the timing of the 4 buys would be...
Start with 1000 today at $1.00.
Priced dropped to .97 today nothing else would of happened because you didn't hit your 12.5% stop loss (so no sale of that)? And the second buy wouldn't of gone in because the +/- 5% of the $1.00 first buy wasn't met? (Or would it of because we did have a high of $1.14 today so a second purchase of 1000 would of bought at $1.05 ?) And then the third purchase is now in play at $1.00 or $1.11 . Is that correct?
So having $4000.00 to swing, a buy might look like....
1. 1000 @ $1.00 = $1000
2. 1000 @ $1.05 = $1050
3. 1000 @ $1.16 = $1160
4. 718 @ $1.10 = $ 790
======
$4000 total spent
Profit side SELL
1. 1000 @ $1.25 = $1250
2. 1000 @ $1.31 = $1310
3. 1000 @ $1.16 = $1450
4. 718 @ $1.10 = $ 987
======
$4997 total returned
$1000 (997) or 25% gained on $4000.00
Is this correcT?
Something like that?
Been reading and reading alot of stuff here lately.
I like many have lost thousands of dollars on paper so far owning GTE.
I am not happy either. But unlike so many here I operate under my own guidelines for stock ownership that in a pompous way I wish I lot of others would.
1. CAVEAT EMPTOR! Caveat emptor is Latin for "let the buyer beware", first thing I learned in business class 101.
2. Never blame my buying or selling on someone else.
3. Only contact the company thru the investor relations or the designated individual of the company handling investor requests at the appropriate number or email.
4. DON'T HASSLE or ABUSE #3. How does an individual get anything done for "our" company if they have to answer questions all day.
5. Remember. IT'S NOT PERSONAL AND IT'S NOT ABOUT ME!
6. Do not make assumptions, get the facts.
7. Repeat #6 and do even more Due Diligence.
8. Try not to buy or sell on emotion.
9. If it's too good to be true, it probably is.
10. Don't do things for the company if you are not employed. Notify the company thru #3 and let them handle it.
I know this post may sound righteous or crazy even but I am really fed up here.
How many investors here helped bring alot of this mess onto GTE? The emails and hassling calls and posts to bashers and Journalists (using that word liberally) alike that fired them up and increased the negative awareness. I am sickened by that and how so many posters can't leave thnigs alone and let the company handle it.
I know that a couple posters were mentioned in favor in the last PR (before today) that have done good, and I am happy for that, but I suspect they were not hassling GTE. I can only imagine how much more production Mr. Bleckman could of had in the last month without having to answer phones and emails.
Also, while I am spewing and venting, wouldn't it be nice that if the lawsuits against GTE failed, then those investors who sided with the law firms, had to forfeit their shares and we investors who held on, got to divide them up amongst us. There should be penalty for fraudulent law suits too. How much have the law suits caused the price to drop? As much, if not more than what they are claiming the Russian deal fallout lost them. I say we counter sue those law firms and plaintiff's for that loss. If the Russian deal was a scam dreamed up by GTE then so be it, they (GTE) deserve to go down BUT if it wasn't then why not get something for our troubles. Right now it's a lose lose situation for us. Pisses me off.
So there, take that everyone. And thanks a lot for nothing.
Other than a few, there is nothing to be gained on this board anymore imo. There is power here but it is not wielded correctly imo. I believe in the goals and visions of GTE and will stick to the bitter end because I still want to get fast internet connection anywhere I go!
Low,
Forgive my misunderstandings here but I would love to follow your outline.
Are you saying that for example (Profit side only).
If you Buy 1000 shares at $1.00 sell 250 at $1.25 or all at $1.25 wait for a drop to $1.00 or $1.05 and buy 1000 then sell all 1000 again at $1.31, 3rd entry buy 1000 between .94 - $1.16 then sell 1000 at $1.25?
Apparently I am confused? Would you mind elaborating?
Mide,
(EDIT: a small correction on this, I was referring to the 3 posts below the above number, not the last four. Glad to see your feeling better!)
"Your starting to bum me out. I've lost a ton of money here too, try not to take it personal. Your last three posts seem rather venonmous. How about more constructive critism on how the company could do it differently."
I see it as a postitive also but am curios who "Caterham" is and where do they get their money. They've dumped alot into GTE over the last 3yrs.
I am little confused? Can anyone shed some intelligent comentary on what exactly this means with re: to Caterham and if it relates to the 2004 "preffered to common" shares deal?
Is this related to this 2yr old deal?

8-k filed. Interesting.

Looks like GTE aquired some funding...??!! Thoughts? Comments?
Exactly Pit. I could care less about MF/SJ. I want my company (GTE) to keep me well and truthfully informed and to keep working hard. I bought into (as in I didn't sell my shares) the Russian deal as others but it was more my own fault. The writing was on the wall so to speak and I didn't listen to my gut and sell, as I wanted to believe in the $600 and the foothold in Russia.
I fault (GTE) management in so much as I think they wanted to believe in it to and did not step back and look at it realistically (although this is only my speculation). Who wouldn't but as they say "if it is too good to be true then it probably is". Hopefully this will settle out and GTE PPS can make a steady climb up. And I hope GTE management have learned their lesson from this PR debacle.
One other comment I have is with the PR that have Mr. Huff stating that he would step down next fall if things didn't turn around. This bothers me. I would rather he not say anything like that. I feel it was his way of saying that he takes responsibility for it but I would rather he move on and say that he is the right man for the helm, as I believe him to be, and rally his troops for the long term.
I personally believe in Mr. Huff and his vision and would like to say to him to NOT step down in the fall but stick to his plan.
So Mr. Huff - don't step down but step up to the plate! Provide us with detail and timelines that are reasonable and doable, be it over 8 mos. or 8 yrs. By doing that the stock price will stabilize and really make us wealthy.
Shab and Low, good info posts thanks alot.
Ummm guys... the IP would not necessarily be from a single PC. If you have a router in your house/small business office and 5 PC's connected to it and each guy/gal creates an alias they would all be from that one IP. I wouldn't bark too loud at this tree.
Dear Mr. Fan,
Please consider hiring someone to run Q Television that has seasoned respectable television experience.
Q Televisions reputation has been severely scarred, if not still a gaping wound, and is in bad need of a highly known respectable TV executive.
Now, as the GLBT issue is near the forefront of most media stories, is the time to take this battle to the mainstream public.
I urge you to take Steve Jobs lead in the 80's as he realized that he was not the business man (at the time) to take Apple to the next level and lured high powered Pepsi executive John Scully by asking him if he wanted to make a difference in the world or just wanted to continue selling sugared water.
The same philosophy could work here. Please continue your hard work in re-establishing Q television's value, vision and goals.
A concerned investor.
Ah, very noble of you.
What's the payoff for you? I am just curious.
Fair enough. Why post here then?
Hey Niz, just curious about some of your posts. I appreciate some of the info offered but others seem rather bitter and negative or laced with ridicule.
How come? I am curious. I've lost a lot of money on this stock and can only hope that it turns around or hope that I can sell for a loss to offset some taxes.
Just asking, not looking to start a threadgate.
What a great press release!
I think it's time this board did some work and started weeding out the paid basher's and such.
For folks that didn't know, you can put a poster on ignore and therefore will not read any of their posts.
Can everyone here help out the moderator and only post TA threads?
Therefore, Lowtrade would you mind posting what you see in the charts for the coming months?
Instead of all this speculation what about creating a top 10 questions compiled by investors here for someone to ask at the shareholders meeting or send to the company with names attached?
1. Are you planning on spinning off or selling Sanswire division?
2.
3.
FYI from Rockey's board.
"Definition: EBITDA is an abbreviation for Earnings before Interest, Tax, Depreciation and Amortization. It reports what the company would have earned during the period if it did not have to pay interest on its debt; didn't have to pay taxes; and had depreciated the full value of all assets at their acquisition. It is roughly equivalent to the Operating Income line in the Income Statements."
Mide,
I can't say I wholly agree with you.
I am no accountant, and would love one to chime in here, but do not see how the balance sheet and income statement look that bad.
I see the company as getting better year after year (note: cash doubled but most of that is restricted cash. I am curious as to what that is). The big picture makes sense to me. (They paid alot for expenses (ie. Travel etc.) and also increased property and equipment.) The thing that really confounds me is how they brought in that much money last year! (Gross revenue of 81mil) That to me is tremendous. Am I missing something? Was it just Centerline and money cards?
My gut and experience tells me that Huff is a GREAT salesman. I believe he believes and that may have gotten him in trouble ,but only in timing (as in this is the year to have a go getter and proven closer running the show). I think, as stated in the shareholder letter Globetel will move from a R&D
phase to a goods and service company.
I also feel that folks need realize that this stock and company are changing. I, as I am sure others, got into this stock because it was going to make us rich in a hurry. The hype on the strat. was tremendous, what a great idea. The hype on the Russian deal was great, it would bring us back to May 05 Share price and added to the Strat we were back.
I believe now that this is a long term stock for investors, it may make you rich one day but stop looking everyday for it to come; I think shareholders needs to adjust their emotional level on this stock. If I spent as much time as I did checking for the big news last year on learning how to trade other stocks I would probably have offset my losses (Oh and yes to me last year a year was long term).
Share price to me is holding steady. It is holding where it was before the Russian anouncement which is priced based on financials IMO. (Probably a little higher than it should be).
I could go on and on but won't.
I will however say that last week we received SO much information with the Fiscal 2005 results and the Shareholder letter. BUT why are we not discussing and reviewing and disecting and discussing it at length? I've read it twice and have only really fathomed a small portion. I challenge everyone hear to comment on the shasreholder letter, I believe it speaks volumes.
Also, lets discuss the BALANCE SHEET and INCOME STATEMENT for 2203, 2004 and 2005. I believe the numbers will tell the true tale.
Just my opinion folks.
PS. I would recommend this stock to everyone!!
Orlander,
Not sure what you mean but will explain myself a little bit more.
IJMHO I suspect it was "let's ink this deal and worry about the details and making it happen later"; and in reality the players who IMO weren't emotionally involved said, whoa, this needs alot more work before we are comfortable. NOBODY tosses that kind of money around. Would you give 1mil$ to a seasoned contractor to build your house or 1mil$ to the guy that's been a carpenter and has great ideas but really has no portfolio? You may say, the carpenter but you may say let me see you do a couple house additions etc. first.
Can you explain more to me about your comment?
Five,
Looks fine on two of my computers. Try changing your resolution and also clearing your cache first.
Nilr,
He's been at it for some time actually. He will also lean his "stories" which ever way the wind is blowing hardest at the time.
I believe it is best to not pay much attention to these writers. That's what they are, they are writers looking for reactions from readers. They are not analysts (see Lowtrade, et al) and nor investment experts. I find them lazy (as in this is cult is easy pickins), not highly educated and very conservative.
That being said tho...With re: to the Russian deal I believe now that Huff did count his chickens before they were hatched and that caused all this ruckus. I think he got concerned about stock price, the bad press, the progress on the Strat. etc, and rightfully so, but jumped the gun when releasing the Russia deal news and it backfired (But you can't say that he doesn't care about us). I don't think/feel the Russian deal is dead by a long, long shot. I
think from reading everything I can that Globetel needs to prove itself to the VC's of the deal and the bank. (Hence the Mexico testing et al). It just makes alot more sense all around that it would be this way. I believe that the Russian deal was real but not really hammered out with a big viable plan with timelines, employees, product etc. Everyone saw $$$'s. But I think it may be on track now and if GTE makes the right moves it will go through (although maybe not $600mil).
One last thing, I also feel that a downside to this for GTE and Internafta is that it woke up alot of folks. Especially those in Russia and alot of people want a piece of that pie. That to me is probably the biggest blunder and part of the blame lies with us investors yelling and kicking and screaming and demanding they tell us things/news from the company we've invested in. I've learned it is a hard line to walk between trusting the management and letting them do their jobs and also to do your DD and keeping management accountable and protecting your investment.
Phew, that was longer than I expected. Over and out. Have a good day all.
I think if people put themselves in Tim and Bob's position they would see that it would probably be easier to deal on a military level as Aero. It is noted that Aero is a disabled veterans company which probably gives it perks etc.
I think it should be left alone and as stated not a part of GTE. Let's keep focus I say.
I apologize ahead of time but I don't think alot of you are looking at the numbers. Also alot of you seem new here and are simply bashing imo.
Look at the following. Obviously things have greatly improved. I would guess that if you removed the Russian deal expenses would be cut in half. There are alot of consulting, lawyer, bank fees. I'm cool with that especially since revenues were 3 times higher.
I would love a real accountant to comment here......!!!

Lowtrade,
Whew, lots of questions. I am long. Been in about 16months. Average of about 50k at $4.00 Am long but have lately been concerned. Been trying to bring my avg. down over the last year listneing and learning but in my heart am long being in the IT business and believe in the ideals.
Can't put the trip off. Feel that the Russian deal will is not all it's cracked up to be. I think PPS i where it should be but people are going to freak when $600mil. is not banked.
How, can $600 be banked. Its totally unrealistic and so many senses. But I like this company and stock.
Thanks for the reply. I will do what I can. ;>)
Lowtrade,
Question if I may. I am not sure if this is appropriate to ask or not but I will.
I am leaving for a trip tomorrow for a couple weeks. I will be driving across the country and therefore will not always have access to a computer and the market.
I was thinking that I should put in a stop loss on GTE. Problem is that I am not sure how it works exactly. I understand the concept and idea but am a little insecure about doing it and was/have been looking for some input from seasoned investors.
Any advice? As always, I appreciate your input. TIA
I'm on Ameritrade and see Level II had a bid size of 1 from NASD exch with a bid of .01
It is gone now, but was that just a glitch?
Pit, Low, Mide, et al,
I am trying to learn this TA stuff but having a struggle with charts.
I seem to notice that since Wed. eve the price started a walk up until late afternoon and since about 3:15pm yesterday has begun a walk down. It is my recollection that this has taken place numerous times in the last year and always seems to coinicide with news NOT patterns. (aka do the MM's know something before the retail investor or do they have team's of TA specialists?)
So would this be a case of charts or info?
Or the west coast woke up, saw the little spike earlier this morning and reacted. Settling down again now.
Buy buy buy everyone and the price will go up. Cheap stock! Nothing more than legalized gambling at this point.
Risky yes but interesting. $100 gets you 1mil shares.
Need a little purchase help here.
Can anyone help me to verify what a "Stop Market" order type purchase is?
With Ameritrade you can do a buy or sell with an "Activation Price" which I believe means that it will not try to purchase the shares for you until that price has been reached?
For example if you put a stop market trade buy on GTE at 3.20 (i.e. don't want to miss out if news or other starts to drive up the price quickly) once it hits that price it will try to buy at the best price?

Thanks Pit.
My hope is that someone starts talking to GTE about this and they do some damage control NOW. Why would you not? Why all the tight lips? I am all for letting the company alone and let them do their job but how about a progress report?
This may not be TA for GTE, and if so, Mide please move or delete, but in my mind it is in an abstract way.
I am very concerned. My gut feeling is that charts and TA will have no role in GTE SP in the next 20 days. I am starting to believe now that the Russian PR in Dec. was a big mistake for Huff. As a year plus long I am concerned. I want to stay long because of the Strat. It's the reason I got into this stock and its the reason I've stayed. (And stayed because I knew it would take years to get the FAA approval, design right etc.)
My concern again, is this Russian PR. So many investors are just waiting for Feb 28th. Why do this to your investing community? IMO, I would be putting out lots of information to my investors every step of the way. That way the prices stays relatively controlled rather than an explosion up or down.
IMO we should be hearing about new hires at GTE re: Russian project. The public JV company being setup and the major steps along the way.
Also, why have a big lump sum payment. How about letting GTE start purchasing product and bill the Internafta? Where is the news about that.
My personal feeling at this point is that I think the Russian deal is sketchy and probably not going to happen on the scale outlined or at all. Just my gut feeling here folks. And I am not bothered by it being sketchy, hey I've seen a ton of great scores/deals go down the drain and that's business but everything in the last year or so seems about the next new deal and then we don't hear about it again. ( didn't have time to research dates but off the top of my head can think of...The columbian deal, phillipines, Japan, Germany) Again, I am not bashing I am just getting to the point where I need to be asking questions to see if my money is in the right place.
I believe GTE is into enough other things to maintain the SP but the way this was and is being handled could really kill things.
Mr. Huff, please start communicating now. Please care about your investors. Don't PR for PR's sake, and don't PR for SP sake. Please tell us if the deal is bust, or tell us what progress has been made and please don't have it done through a third party journalist's interview.
