Lets give LL a chance to produce. It appears that Briscoe is concentrating on getting the stage set for moving the exploration and drilling along in terms of finding the minerals, staking the claims and verifying what we have. I believe LL is looking for and negotiating the financing with the help of Vollmer for what Briscoe is doing. The question is, will LL deliver ? It appears we have the goods. Now the $64K questions is what is the best deal we can get.
Midas. Ditto!.
I think he left because JB brought in LL to be President.
No big deal. Othon not needed. If LL is as good as presented he will probably take on the Global Development. Maybe MLV evlautated the two and LL won out.
You bet. The market is irrational and overreacts. Downward and upward. When there is solid speculative evidence, the reward is work the risk. Just be smart about your entry and exit points.
I agree. totally!.
It is really going to be interesting to find out how the capitalization structure of LBSR/Newco looks like after the deal goes thru(if it does).
Do we know if the 16% of Newco is equivalent to the 100% of what we orginally had ?
I think we have already seen most of the tax loss selling.
I am continuing to buy. As a side note, my guess is that we have funding lined up and do not need MLV any more
I think there were potential deals and JV interest in the Arizona claims before MLV. Briscoe brought in Vollmer, Liang and MLV to sort it all out and negotiate. IMO
Good post Carolina. Right on.
That can happen with a limit order.
I wish Liang or Briscoe would give SH more info why they believe SAGE is a good fit for LBSR in terms of their integrity. But, I suppose that would be greeted as just fluff. Hopefully, we will learn more by December that will prove SAGE is for real and they have a top notch business plan with the goods.
Very well said Kipp. good post
New Promo in the mail out on Sage. Supposedly sitting on 8B of gold in Nevada.
I think you are on to something. I have been pondering the same thing myself
I am not going against my own rules anymore. I will add when my dependable chart tools signal me to buy. I may not add more at the bottom again but they will still be cheap enough to make some good money.
Isn't LL in charge now. What did he have to do with our association with SAGE ? How was the decision made ? It is still only an LOI so they have time between now and December to figure out if they made the right move.
Plus some early tax loss selling.
More misinformation. The contract does not end in 4 months.
My holding is risk capital. I will hold and reevaluate if it hits .02
People need to understand that SP is driven by a lot more than good DD, and potential. Supply and demand is the only thing that detemines the price of a stock and can be manipulated to a certain extent. Charts can tell you what is happening with supply and demand. If you like a penney stock like LBSR and cannot afford to lose capital, you better have a plan to preserve it or only invest what you can afford to lose. Otherwise, you just wait and go with the flucuations and hope that your DD will pay off.
Drill! Drill! Drill !! Drill!! Find value PPS UP . vERY SIMPLE.
Not that important but I wonder how they came up with the name NEWCO ? Are the letters initials for something ? Maybe Tracy knows.
Yes. I like that part. Definetly portends growth eom
Not suggesting that at all. All I am suggesting is that being informed of something and not expanding on why that information is credible when passing it on to third parties is not the way to communicate to shareholders and is not typical of what I have seen from other companies. Be that as it may, I am willing to give them a pass.
It is not clear though you can surmise from the 10K that they may have performed work.
Understood. However, as much as I agree with you and the credibility of the company, I believe it was careless to use the word informed. Someone can inform me of anything but it is not a fact for me until I substantiate it.
"We have been informed by Northern Dynasty Minerals Inc. that sufficient funds have been expended by them to maintain the claims until August 31, 2012."
Why didn't it say that we have legal proof (or have verified) that ND has spent sufficient funds to maintain the claims ......... To be informed does not mean anything to an alert shareholder. It only means that I would have to do the research to verify what the 10Q is telling me.
Picked up another 50K this morning at .042. Broke my own rules by not waiting for the CCI and Williams R% signal.
Thanks gold. Very helpful. I am still curious as to how the 16% of Newco translates to the % of the LBSR original Uranium holdings.
Is there a way to know how the 16% of Newco with the combined properties relates as a % of the LBSR Uranium claims alone ? Also, I appreciate everyone's input here (negative and positive) and how what they think this deal means. I work a lot and do not have the time to do a lot of DD or get deep into the workings and nuances of Capital structure and mergers.
"....My gut tells me we should have done better for that many claims." Mine too. We shall see.
What does this mean ? ...." Liberty Star will grant Sagebrush the irrevocable option to Newco all of its NPSP uranium properties and Liberty Star will end up with a minority interest in Newco. "
Is this bad or good ?
Mr. Honig commented, "We are poised to take full advantage of the current depressed asset prices in the uranium market and we are very excited that the creation of a new public Company will help our shareholders realize value from the Company's uranium assets." That is fine for Sagebrush shareholders. What about LBSR shareholders ? Where is Mr. Briscoe on this point ? How will this create value for LBSR SH. We need more details.

Yes. Logic indicates such. The next step is when the Chinese send a delegation to the U.S. to visit LBSR and inspect our claims. I do not expect a deal until after we see the above. It is possible that something may transpire but not lock in until they have visited the U.S. IMO based on what I have seen with other companies dealing with the Chinese. Makes sense from a good business and due diligence perspective.
For what it is worth, I don't know when to expect news. News will come when a deal is done or when MLV is done evaluating our claims. When that will be I don't know because I am not familiar with what it takes to do what they are doing. Has anyone been involved in the kind of project MLV is working on or LL is negotiating and give us some insight as to the time line here. To expect news soon is just speculation and nothing else, unless it can be backed up . Long and strong.
Nice info gold56. Thanks for posting. eom
