I assume you're talking Basmati.
f you take a piece of long grain rice at 2mm by 2mm by 12 mm, and average the size of the two diamonds found, you could fit 17,518 of them into that grain of rice.
Definitely. And so much easier.
Wish they'd given him a fine like the one Jeanette Wilcher got. It was originally (about two years ago) a little over a million. She didn't pay up, and skipped town. The judge issued a bench warrant, and decreed that the fine be doubled DAILY.
Now that's compound interest.
snicker, he claims to have 850 million CMKX, and says he hasn't sold a single share.
The whole disclaimer thing is weird and ridiculous:
kinda interesting
how Sterling is spending the day defending his disclaimer rather than addressing the current situation.
Last night maninfla posted a few sentences from Sterling's disclaimer at his website, suggesting that Sterling was being paid by CMKX. Then maninfla corrected himself, saying that on Sterling's CMKX page he stated that he hadn't taken any money from CMKX. No one commented much, one way or the other.
Then this morning Sterling blazed in and posted the full disclaimer. Most people on the thread didn't even know it existed, and a few were pretty disconcerted, and asked the obvious questions. Sterling then reappeared to say he hadn't taken any money. And then dozens of others started posting all sorts of weird stuff about Sterling's Honor and the like.
Absolutely bizarre.
One final note: the mysterious Varoc appeared to announce that "people like" him and Sterling "had to" post disclaimers. Obviously they don't, if no money is involved. But no one asked Varoc whether HE was paid to promote CMKX. I was very disappointed.
Someone on the Stepford thread said they were the size of grains of rice. NO WAY. You could probably fit about 100 of 'em in a grain of rice.
For those who just can't wait, there're lots of (varying) gem quality stones here:
http://cgi6.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewSellersOtherItems&userid=saxdiamonds&completed=0&a...
They have some interesting examples of colored diamonds. Careful, though: prices usually go up sharply just before the end of the auction.
I know. But mining them can be profitable IF you have lots and lots.
Stop by Home Depot and price them.
How'd she get in your head?
No, it was much higher than that. Getting an accurate volume count ain't easy.
Yesterdays sell off volume was only 1.09B.
I wonder if that makes much difference for industrial quality stones, which seems to be what the two little specks are.
everything I have read -- which isn't much -- leads me to believe it's the weight of the rough cut.
Gemstones are trickier, as really big ones usually have to be split into smaller ones, or one large one and lots of smaller ones.
Urbie isn't feeling very warm and fuzzy today, I guess. Or perhaps he's busy with the Funny Car.
URBAN: YOU NEED A PR TO AVOID COMPLETE RETRACEMENT AND LOSS OF FAITH HERE!!!! - EOM.
Come to think of it, that's odd. Ol' Frankie was pumping CMKX quite frantically a few weeks ago, if I'm not mistaken. But he's not there now...
Is not. It's DRARF. Established on the AZNT thread eons ago.
Question for anyone: is the carat weight of freshly excavated diamonds measured uncut, or is a guess made about the cut weight?
LOLOLOLOLISSIMO!!
Wait... I take it back.
The PRs were filed between 7 and 8 a.m.
The halts were lifted before 8 a.m., with a note that news had been filed with StockWatch. But the actual PRs appeared at 10:40.
It really did take an eternity. The PRs were filed between 7 and 8 a.m. The stock didn't start to crater until after eleven.
When the jv partners' pr came out, it took, what seemed like, an eternity for the market to react.
'Fraid not...
lol, saw his posts. Couldn't make heads nor tails of 'em.

Just got off the phone with Edward and Angell law firm.
I told the sec that answered that i had a question about a company they represent, and she asked me if it was CMKM!? I asked her if she knew about the pr yesterday and if it was real. I asked if they really represented them fully or if cmkx tried to scam us by saying they represented us. She said no, we do represent cmkm. (just rechecking the facts starting with the obviuos). She was very nice.
She didn't know anything and She said Roger is out off the office and won't be back till tomorrow.
I was transfered to his secretary but had to leave her a message.
If she calls back i'll post her comments. Heres their phone number.

jim morrison's over on the RB CMKX thread, saying that "something's up" with SRCI. I can't figure out why. It's trading at 0.0002 x 0.0003, as usual.
This is too funny. The guy ONLY wants to have lunch with Jalapeno if he's long CMKX.

George... I don't think it's Chris you should follow. I think Chris is following Slurp, and Slurp's hit on some big ones recently. He's even been posting on the IHub CMKX thread, but his style is a bit less extravagant than usual. Caps are intact, though.
I really really wonder who he "represents'.
My take was that Uncle Melvie basically said: "Ahhhh shit, guess the results weren't what everybody was hoping for. So we'll go dig some holes somewhere else...".
Probably means that the MMs have big sell orders to fill, possibly from their "own" customers. Big enough orders that they're willing to take a smaller cut on the spread.
What do all the sells at .0005 mean if the spread seems to be so apparent between .0004 and .0006?
Yup. She was in there pumping her little heart out when Slurp was telling people it was gonna merge with PCBM.
Wendy posted on the Stepford thread again this morning. Look out below!!!
On the Stepford thread someone just said that Melvin's been on IBC radio again this morning. Can anyone confirm?
Yes. My opinion is that if your broker tells you there's some problem with the stock in your home state, it's a good idea to call the State Securities Division.
This is the second report we've had of people not being allowed to buy in a specific state. The first was New Jersey.
Don't you think it might be a good idea to find out what's going on before plunging further?
Open an account with Ameritrade. I also live in Alabama and own 60 million shares.
That has to do with private placements. lol, enthusiastic as he may be, I doubt Todo's got a million bux in CMKX.
Doesn't the blue sky law go hand in hand with being an accredited investor?
They're manipulated all the time, usually by promoters.
Only to call your State Securities Division and ask what's up.
That would be stock manipulation.
uc pretty much knows the amount of diamonds he has found, I think he has carefully crafted a plan to go ahead and let the pps fall as low as it can get...
Oh my.
Morgan Stanley has refuesed by buy offer, something about the state of alabama and me owning to much already...something about a Blue law....anybody know of this?
Blue Skies law. It probably means that CMKX isn't registered to trade in Alabama. If you want to know exactly what's going on, call your State Securities Division.
LOL!! Good analogy!
Does it remind you of the World Wrestling on T.V.? I does me..
lol, imo he'll NEVER be done selling.
Maybe he decided to counter the obviously fake Urbie.
lol, guess you never read the IFTP/A threads. Dan ("Fatboy") Hoyng did quite a bit of posting, to his later regret.
But c'mon, the freakin' CEO of a company posting to a message board? Now, I've seen everything.
There was a fer sure phony earlier today. This one is more convincing, but who knows? Maybe it's Melvin with spell check.
People are posting that he's a fake Urban.
