CBGH MM ETRF INFO

So what I dont get is, ETMM was always on L2 which is eTrade. ETRF just appeared 6/19/2012 which is ETRF Chicago, IL Order Entry. After doing some digging, this is what I found:

You will be taken to Etrade International Market Maker Global Execution & Trading Solutions logon page. Since I trade thru Etrade I tried to logon (I also have an international acct as well but never traded). I was not able to logon and got the following message:


Sorry, IMM is available only during Business Hours
IMM Business Hours are 8am-6pm CST (Daily) and site is closed for business during this hour.
Please return during business hours.

It also had a logo with Etrade Financial Capital Markets

So its apparent its an international buyer/seller but why all of a sudden? Yes, we could have had never investors from CHINA come in and buy but we always had the ETMM MM on L2

IMO, this is a sign coming from someone overseas trying to grab cheapies if it gets to that point, or obviously sell at a higher price.

No...NITE top bidder....AUTO top ASK CHECK MY L2 POST EOM

new MM was a different Etrade name but specifically out of Chicago, was not top bidder.....what I dont get is why? ETMM was always there..... MP TYPE for ETMM is P which means Nasdaq Participant. ETRF is MP TYPE O which means Order Entry. So I am guessing whoever is trading thru ETMM was based out of NYC via the floor....is now trading out of Chicago via ETRF

Bid/Ask is lower than the PPS so does this mean the float is locked??????

You can see how thin by the L2's I post and the short volume? Heck, if thats true, the MMs or whoever will need to buy at the ASK unless MMs trade shares to bring the price down, hence, that's how shorts make $$

I m hoping CBGH will be LongTop Financial where it was $21 but I don't want the end result of LGFTP ( i think that was the symbol)
