Sorry...I can't find either the original post or the woman's reply. Maybe Sterling zapped 'em?
Another point: I think that if people are willing to go on the radio and speak as "experts", they should be willing to identify themselves.
All right, all right, I'll go look for the post. Apparently he said quite categorically than he had no idea what she was talking about.
HUH? Haven't they reopened the message boards? Why would they re-release Friday's PR if that's the case?
She seems to be one of the more respected posters on Sterling's thread. As you know, there are NO bashers there.
And the woman who supposedly called Joel has an impeccable reputation?
janice shell: in one or two sentences, what are your prospects for CMKX from current levels (ie: .0006). I know its high risk, but relatively speaking (in the world of pinks), what do you think of CMKX??
I think it's a crap shoot right now. There just isn't enough information available. In the blur of rumor and fluff prs, I think many people have lost sight of the fact that the company has provided very little real information about its operaations, and none about its share structure.
Most cooler heads realize that if CMKX intends to mine its properties, it won't see revenues for years. If that's their intention, there may be spikes at time in future, but the fundamentals won't justify a huge increase in stock price. If they mean only to do exploration and then sell the mineral rights, rewards could come more quickly. Of course they could also fail to find anything at all that could be exploited economically.
As for the share structure, the rumormongers say Melvin and Urbie have promised to reveal it "soon". I wouldn't put much faith in that, but if it really is their intention to attempt relisting on the OTCBB, then that information will eventually become available. But I very much doubt that they'll be filing in the immediate future: don't forget that they have about two years' worth of Ks and Qs to catch up on.
So we return to point one: it's a crap shoot, and likely to remain one for some time to come.
Interesting post about Joel on RB.
I don't know if anyone's read it yet, if so sorry for the repost.

Wrong Joel. Someone on Sterling's thread posted this, and a woman replied that she'd found it earlier, and called the guy. He said he'd never heard of IBC Radio, and certainly had never called them.
Sorry I can't offer a link, but it'd take me half an hour to find the post.
A few points...
If that's the case....don't you know when Dateline does the story it will be embellished (misrepresented) even more!
--Typically Dateline stories (unless they're of cosmic importance) don't run for more than twenty minutes. I think it'd be very difficult even to scratch the surface of this in so little time.
--Dateline and other TV "news" shows often do a good deal of work on stories they never air. Back in 1999, Jeff Mitchell and I spent quite a lot of time talking (and in Jeff's case, meeting) with people from 20-20. They'd even started filming interviews with SEC people when the show was suddenly canned because one of the higher-ups decided it wasn't of sufficient interest to a general audience. Later, we also had some discussions with Dateline, but they didn't go very far.
--The Dateline story has been postponed till August. My guess is that it won't appear at all.
--What the GetShorty bunch don't realize is that real journalists (as distinguished from the toutish hacks from FinancialWire) always check out both sides of a story. I'll bet they've "discovered" that Investrend is in fact a company engaged in stock promotion. And I'll bet the SEC has told 'em that the GetShorty people are clueless when it comes to actual facts.
I suspect that they decided to drop the story, but won't make any kind of "announcement" because they know that if they do they'll be inundated with hysterical emails and phone calls from the GetShorties.
LOL!! Only four?
I just know I've read that news article in different versions now at least 4 times.
Ever since the first "article" about naked shorting appeared at FinancialWire, they've been recycling it. They keep on adding names and bits of "information". That's why they're so long and unintelligible now.
Might also help if they hired someone familiar with the English language to write this crap.
No...
It's not all OTCBB stocks either...that surprised me.
But who knows which of those companies actually gave Investrend permission to use their names. A few years back, Investrend started what they call the "CEO Council". Named as "members" were several SEC and Nasdaq officials.
They were contacted. They'd never agreed to be members of the CEO Council. They were pretty pissed off, and demanded that their names be removed. I suspect something similar is going on with the list of companies on the interminable FinancialWire "articles".
I just don't have the energy to write to all of 'em asking about that, but someone should do it.
Novo...
This board isn't very receptive to bs from FinancialWire.
But would you like to be helpful? Tell us who's behind the current mini-promotion.
lol, any shareholders left are gonna be pretty pissed off...
I think there are a number of reasons:
Why do you think Urban has targeted the USA people in his promotion?
There are a lot more potential investors here, and they're less likely to be knowledgeable about mining.
You don't have to be a reporting company to trade here.
Promoters will be more interested in working with you if you're here rather than in Canada.
And so on...
Bet he posted the same thing on a dozen other boards.
Penny... I seem to recall some "negative" posts written by you. In fact, St Sterling was rather upset.
This is a stupid discussion. It doesn't really matter what any poster's position in the stock is. What's important is the message. If it makes a contribution one way or the other, then that's fine. And rocket has made some interesting contributions.
Just curious: why do you think I'm a man?
And your point is?
Student eligibility for membership is basically restricted to those in the top 10 per cent of a graduating class who have taken at least 75 per cent of their law studies in graded courses. Individual Chapters may impose additional qualifications.
Truly magnificent understatement:
His first task was to unravel a financial tangle the developed when Mr. Hoffman had transferred cash from the two public companies to his private businesses, in preparation for an exploration program...
Damn, I'm sorry I missed this...
Late last year, a correction was issued after the header on a press release mistakenly referred to the company's financial public relations consultant, Howard Bronson, as Charles Bronson, initially leaving speculators wondering why the then 80-year-old movie star would be touting Saskatchewan gems.
Good article, with REAL facts.
Yes indeed. He's almost ready for RB, where people post their Iggy lists with enormous pride!
But of course.
I see.
After hanging on as long as I can, I have to say that the last 20 posts by Rocketred have been nothing but a long meaningless tirade of half-baked accusations.
But your own half-baked touting of an unsubstantiated Huge Short Position is Brilliant Analysis, right?
My God you're pompous.
Interesting post.
In what sense is it a conflict of interest?
Seems as if the Federal Reserve isn't anxious to disclose the roles of Roger and Annette. And for obvious reasons why. This marriage reeks of CONFLICT OF INTEREST big time.
I didn't say that. I said that runaway rumor and uncontrolled hype are a big red flag.
Ot: janice shell, in an earlier post you said that so many positive posts about CMKX should be perceived as a read flag.
And it's also a bad sign when a Thread Saviour turns up.
lol, that says something about your standards of evidence.
Janice, we all know you work for Nite...
lol, Gumpy...
The high roller guys from Vegas that is , who are masterminding this for the clowns Urbie, Mel, Sterling, and Joel.
As I pointed out to you on RB, if CMKX wants credibility, the LAST people they want to be involved with are heavy hitters from Vegas.
Wadda' you hear from Asher ?
Asher who?
LOL!! You make my point:
I would watch it jan ole girl..you are being watched...
Zen's been Annointed, and no criticism of him or of his Thoughts will be tolerated, right?
LOL!!
I hope he gives them both sides of the coin about penny stocks and not just the rose colored glasses version.
Ten percent, actually.
By the way, just in case anyone else wanted to know this, under Roger's credentials, "Order of the Coif" means you finished in the top 5% of your graduating class at law school.
They have? I guess I musta missed something.
They both have nailed the shorts big time.
GMXX is languishing between 50 and 60 cents. Is that a reverse short squeeze, lol?
And if you think CMKX has a trillion share short, or any significant short at all, you need your head examined.
Well, zen, since you're the New Board God, I'm sure everyone will take your word as undisputed and undisputable gospel:
MANINFLA, AND THIS IS WHY I WILL PLACE YOU ON IGNORE ALONG with ms. shell. When you look to obviously manipulate the facts this blatantly, I have no further use in reading your posts. You've teetered on this line since the beginning but clearly have begun crossing it.
You remind me of another message board attorney, but I'm sure that you, unlike he, can spell "tortious" properly.
Now Gumpy, you know perfectly well that I don't work for anyone. Well, if you do, senility must have you in its grip.
CMKX is nothing like GMXX, as you also know perfectly well.
Why hello there, Gumpy!
I think this was orchestrated .. starting more than a year ago. A group of Canadian bushwhacker clowns with a dragster. Man .. the MMs jumped on it.
They only got into the racing biz quite recently, I'm afraid.
I'll ask again, though I've pretty much given up on getting an answer: why do you think this stock is heavily shorted?
The shorts are large, strong and well-funded.
WHAT??!!??
Whether it's through Forbes, Barrons or Stockwatch (3 publications I've always suspected are well under the shorts' control), they will pull a "hit and run" through the media at SOME point.
You're not gonna see a word about this little piggy in Forbes or Barron's. Probably not in Stockwatch either, now that Brent's gone.
Tons. Penny stocks seem to attract the prolix.
Has there been a pink sheet or OTCBB stock that has had more shakesperean(sp) prose written about it than CMKX?
Who on earth thinks that?
Many believe that MR. CASAVANT has had a good income all along from Diamond Sales, etc., etc.
I believe everyone is quite aware that so far Urbie's found only two microscopic stones.
Actually you can.
wrong JIM04 CANT go pvt without buying the shares...
You do a gigantic reverse split. One so large that most shareholders will be left with fractional shares that don't have to be honored.
I think it was the SEC.
Correct Web site was shut down cause the Lawyer told them too.
Not possible.
IMO there are some death spiral plays that are possible using an organized attack of naked shorting by a business(es) with sufficient capital, such as a MM or Hedge Fund working alone or in combination...
At least it isn't unless you assume Urbie's a part of it. Death spiral deals require that toxic paper be issued. BY THE COMPANY.
If UC has been selling stock he "prints" in the hundereds of Billions of shares, and if there are no naked shorts contributing to this volume, then who is buying the stock...? Months ago, when this board tried to count totals held by us "investors", we could account for a few billion shares... but we have seen several 15 Billion share days lately... who buys those amounts?
People like you guys. This is the biggest promotion I've ever seen. There are "investors" all over the world. Don't forget: no doubt a lot of the volume can be attributed to flippers, and to MMs buying and selling inventory from/to other MMs.
f there are one or more players that have inside info about FLAC, such as DeBeers, that buy all the stock because they want control of CMKX...
Highly unlikely, imo.
The companies don't really "outwit" the SEC. Some exploit loopholes; there're lots of ways to screw your shareholders legally. Apart from that, the SEC doesn't have the time or the money to go after all of the scams. They hope that by bringing attention to particularly outrageous cases, they'll have warned people.
Unfortunately that hasn't worked.
