Heck, bb, I could have told you that.
I don't get to post much during working
hours, but I read a lot of the messages
and WOW did you ever attract the cream of
the crop.
Myself included, of course. ROFL!
DWIZ5, I agree. Here's another chart to look at
with some different Technical indicators that reinforce
your feeling that it's about due.
ADVC taking a rest? Someone feed it a big jolt
of Starbucks espresso.
DISCLOSURE: I own ADVC, I do not own Starbucks.
FXGP - I was very pleased with the way it closed.
Very little profit taking near the end of the
session.
Mrs. Spillway is still holding, too, so
I'm pretty confident of a good day with
it tomorrow.
As sure as one can be with these POS stocks.
ADVC... an enigma. I consider myself a
fair-to-middlin chart reader and tea leaf
interpreter, but ADVC has just got me stumped.
I'm only holding 100K shares, so it's not
like it's a huge investment or anything,
I just can't figure out if it's going to jump
or flop.
Any/all advice on this POS greatly appreciated.
CTKH - looks like it has stabalized around .0048.
DISCLOSURE: I don't own this stock.
FXGP, in at .0091 eom
FXGP... looks like it is a good candidate to become the "play of the day".
DISCLOSURE: I don't own the stock (yet, but I probably will.)
Congratulations spockster202! I love watching other people make money almost as much as I love making it myself.
It's kind of give & take thing. You have some good weeks, then you have some off weeks.
I just had an off week & looking forward to next week as it will probably be as great as this one was sorry. :)
Be careful on the slopes.
Ain't it the truth! Glad this week's over, too.
IBZT... Think about today's chart. Then start thinking "Abandoned Baby Bullish".
Make it your mantra for the weekend. Abandoned Baby Bullish. Repeat after me: "IBZT, Abandoned Baby Bullish".
Poor little doji down there all by itself. No more big ugly black candlesticks to keep it safe and warm.
I must need a break!
But we're all older and wiser now.
IBZT web site... Any publicity at this point (other than an S-8) could be considered positive.
IBIZ news... hard to classify that as good news or bad news.
Maybe it's neither.
Art2Gecko, you just made my weekend. I'm now officially turning off my streamer and shutting down anything that even remotely looks like it's associated with the stock market.
Obviouly, I'm long in IBZT. Thanks for that chart.
Big selloff across all sectors this afternoon. Good time to buy into some previously high flying stocks.
But remember to do your DD and to check the news last thing before clicking the BUY button.
Hope everyone has a terrific weekend!
Yippee! I sold half a few days ago for about a $10.00 profit. Maybe I can at least make lunch money when I sell the rest. :)
M C E L - Offered up for your consideration. BTW you can't put the letters of this ticker all together, the board software interprets it as a font command. 8-)
Wow, thanks b_b.
I've done that sometimes but I always wondered if there was a better way. Now I see that my gut reaction was correct.
Selling into strength...
I feel like I'm fixing to learn something very important here.
In other words, sell when the stock is strong, i.e. still going up? When there's lots of buyers out there clamoring for your shares?
Does that mean it's also good to buy with the stock is showing lots of weakness, and the sellers are looking for any port in the storm?
I know the rule: Buy on the dips and sell on the tops. But you've introduced a whole new way of thinking to me. Thanks.
Watching other people make a ton of money is a lot of fun. No where near making a ton yourself, you understand. But on days when you don't make any, it's sure nice to come here and watch others do it. Cheers. :)
Does that mean I can run with a sharp stick in my hand now?
And what other kind of knife would you catch? A dropped one? Wouldn't do that either. :)
CESY.. Although I got caught without cash to get into CESY today, my heart is going thump-thump in joy for those of you catching this wave. "WTG" from SpillWay the bystander. Whoopee! Make a million and tell 'em I sent ya'.
Oh, yes, I would say one of those two would be a great idea!
Don't ya' just love it?
NOTICE! PURE SPECULATION FOLLOWS: Wouldn't it be great if IBZT actually won the Best of Show award?
As a PDA user, I can't wait to get my grimy little hands on one of those new keyboards.
I no lover of eTrade, but in this instance I doubt they had much to do with it.
Even a rough "shake" couldn't get enough shares out.
*You may now resume eTrade bashing. And while you're at it, bash Ameritrade once for me, too.*
I was just pullin' your leg. :)
I'm in CYTP at .0061. I'm not sure I would buy at this point, but OTOH I'm not going to sell, either. I'd put this one on my watchlist but not get in any hurry to move either way if I were you.
Just my opinion.
On being impatient... I can't tell you the dollars I have lost by making a decision, which at the time seemed like such a sound decision, and then within 10 minutes changing my mind and doing something else which ended up costing me money.
Let's sell this stock at X. Oh, wait, look... it's starting down. Better change my ask. Oh, good it sold. Oh no.... it's going back up. You know the drill.
Don't ever forget that your first reaction, or your first inclination, is usually the correct one. If you are going through the necessary steps before buying a stock, don't change your bid if you don't get it 15 minutes after changing the order. Your initial decision about what you should buy it for is the result of sometimes hours of preparation, which should not be thrown away by an emotional decision while watching the streamer.
I pass this on as a reminder to the oldies, and as a lesson to the newbies. HAVE SOME PATIENCE.
Thank you for allowing me to rant.
/set rant mode = off
IBZT trading already... I was wondering about that myself! I'd sure like to see an answer to this one.
No one is that bad. Not even weather forecasters!
I don't like for a stock to track along between a short term MA and the lower Bollinger. But hey, I'm in too deep to bail out so I'll try to be optimistic about this one.
IMNR at 1.61. With an RSI of 56, it goes on my watch list for tomorrow. Would really like to see it over the 50-day MA before I enter it, but it's worth keeping an eye on.
Factory workers - I don't get it. I mean, she couldn't really work in the dark, could she?
*whap*
Huh? Oh.
LATINO - EAG, the gap up at the end of November.
What is the significance of that particular gap up?
Thanks.
Dallas, let's light a fire under IDGE. Maybe that will get it up and moving. :)
SpillWay <-- And IDGE stuckholder.
TLXX - I'm pretty excited about it, too.
Just last Friday I posted a query about the stock and why it was even in my portfolio. I honestly couldn't remember why I bought it. Someone replied that it was just about ready to bust loose so I shouldn't sell it.
If you remember posting this, here is my great big THANK YOU.
CYTP will be a penny by Wednesday if the delta change stays like it was today.
Actually Wednesday at 1:14 p.m.
*goes back to sleep to start dreaming some more*
Catching the "shake".
I've noticed that if you miss the initial pop up on a quick break-out, you can bide your time a little and when the MMs try to shake some shares out of the nervous-nellies that will sell on the first tick down, you can frequently get in on a nice little dip before the upward drive continues on its merry way.

Work is a giant pain in the wahzoo when it gets in the way of the lively trader. I, too, had to return to the salt mines today and I went through streamer-withdrawls all morning. Only giant infusions of caffeine saved me. :)
