Well, right now, the only thing that really matters to me, is that my OCZ shares are back in the green. I hope the buyout rumor is true because I am getting tired of this OCZ whip-lashing.
If it is not true, then I just hope I can sell all my shares while I am still in the green and NOT follow the shorts back down into the red!
If their is a buyout, I just hope that it cause my average pps to double, then I can sell half my shares and be Happy that I got my cash back and have some free shares.
GLTA
The only bad thing about today is that I sold my tradings shares way to soon! Gave up lots of money, but then again, it was looking fairly bleak yesterday...
Seagate probing OCZ acquisition

Look at STEM go
Oh if only ACTC could be so lucky
So, then how do we get our money back if this company or new company DOES make some money on these Mew Miami wells??
Nice to hear something positive.
I guess the real question to us investors is: When will we see the MONEY!
Who is selling all those shares at .091?
I guess that is why I am BiPolar
bought at both ends!
Buying begats more Buying
So keep buying
Kind of sad I say!
If they can't even break .66!
Will ACTC ever again have a 1 cents up day??
Nothing seems to move it anymore.
Not much of a buy back at this pps.
So who is buying?
Stupid retail like us?
Why doesn't mgt step in and show some support and buy some shares down here right HERE & NOW?
Rather then "The Ivanhoe Energy executive management team have maintained their shareholdings and will increase them over time. "
I usually don't like buying in pre-market
but I bought some more IVAN @ 57.
It may go down lower for a brief time(I hope not)
If it does, I will buy some more if I can(have to sell something else.)
Been in this so long, I have no choice but to hope this will all pass.
I don't think Carlos has ever bought any shares of IVAN or even owns any shares? But he probably got some through stock options.
I just wish they would show some concern to the shareholders and have came out with a short PR stating they know of no reason for the sell off. Other companies I have own have done this after such a downdraft. I know it would means nothing in the scheme of things, but it would show that at least they have some feelings for the shareholders!
So much for that "Hope & Dream" update.
As IVAN sinks lower in despair.
I hate to admit it, I may be force to take a very very big loss this year.
Time is money and IVAN is running out of time.
Four and a half years of waiting.
Well gsiamrod
I guess all I can say is that I feel your pain.
May be not as an expensive pain as you for I only have a few thousand $$ invested. I have basically written UTOG off as a loss. Wont sell the shares for awhile for I might need a long term loss in the future.
I do feel your pain with some other oil company I own, One in particular is IVAN. I invested many a ten thousand of $$ into it, believing it "dreams.' And now after 4+ years I am deeply underwater there with only Hope and Dreams keeping it afloat.
Should have kept my Apple shares so long ago I bought at $88.
Oh well, there has to be some poor people in the world.
Wel Rod,
I don't particularly have faith in IVAN anymore. I think they have failed on every front to deliver any shareholder value and to ensure any "foundation" for future growth. Not saying that they don't have a chance of doing it, it just that it all now depends on to many "IF's." You can build a house with no foundation!
I still have 50K+ shares that I bought years ago. Coulda, shoulda, & woulda have all pass us by. Our last hope was the 10 year chart of pps going up and down, but even that has failed us now.
So here we sit under a buck for almost 6 months with only the hope of something happening. I have a few other oil speculator stocks that all have gone nowhere, but all talk a good game. And even VSPC has gone down the drain...!
Good move??
Since they were trading shares
I learned in THIS market
you take your gains when you get them.
This is NOT a Buy and Hold market for stocks such as IVAN.
Although, I am holding a lots of high priced IVAN shares
that I bought when I drank the koolaid
I am hoping I can dump them IF IVAN makes one more climb back up.
And there are a lots of IF'n with IVAN.
Thankfully I sold my shares that I bought last week for a 23% gain,
Look like I will be able to buy them back again by Friday.
I just hope that I get a chance to sell, if I desired to sell,
at ABOVE break-even of .15.
That seems like a long ways away from down here.
Shareholders have been screwed at every turn by ACTC.
Yes, I would love to see my dream of $1
But reality has to set in sometime.
I guess we will find out soon since this quarter is almost over.
Lets see how fast that they announce their quarterly CC to release earnings.
I bought 1K at .6356 today.
I was thinking they might work it slowly down to .55
but today volume and large order says maybe not.
So why not take a chance.
I have been wrong many times before with IVAN.
IVAN fall has nothing to do with the fall in oil prices
Oil prices were all up last year while IVAN tanked!
It has all to do with the fact that IVAN has delivered NOTHING
to the bottom line in three plus years except the dilution of shareholder value! The smart money said there was no need to hold IVAN shares at a higher price, so the sell off continues.
A "hoe" is to kind...
IVAN is like that sleazy hoe who's getting older, been all used up and is waiting for that big sugar daddy to come and take her away. However that sugar daddy sees those younger hoes down the road.
Anyway, I wouldn't be surprised if IVAN even broke through that .072 (I don't want it to, believe me.)
.... Some thoughts by someone else... (on those younger hoes...)
Are we dead yet?
Yes it is tempting but I think it will retest .072
and hopefully go no lower.
Down 10 cents in 5 days...
what is 6 cents more to .072??
I will probably buy some more there, but reluctantly.
I really already have too many shares.
Of course we all want good news on the wells in Ec and Mong
but what is the downside "if" another "dry" well is the news???????
GLTA
GAP is getting close????

There she blows.... downward and downward
Advanced Cell Technology, Inc., or
ACT, a provider of regenerative medicine, has announced that the Data and Safety
Monitoring Board, or DSMB, an independent group of medical experts closely
monitoring the company's three ongoing clinical trials, have recently authorized
the company to move forward with enrollment and treatment of additional patients
with Stargardt's disease, or SMD.
In the US SMD trial, ACT will screen and enroll patients for the second cohort,
who, in keeping with trial protocol, will be injected with 100,000 retinal
pigment epithelial (RPE) cells as compared with the 50,000 cell dose used in the
patients of the first cohort. The Company has also been approved to treat the
final two patients to round out the initial dosing arm in its European trial.
The use of pluripotent stem cells to derive RPE cells and the use of the
resulting RPE cells for treating a wide range of macular degenerative disorders,
are covered by a patent portfolio including a number of issued broad patents in
key world markets.
The three procedures comprising the first cohort of patients in the US SMD trial
were all conducted at University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA), Ahmanson
Professor of Ophthalmology at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA and
retina division chief at UCLA's Jules Stein Eye Institute. The first procedure
in the E.U. trial was conducted at Moorfields Eye Hospital in London, by a team
of surgeons led by Professor James Bainbridge, consultant surgeon at Moorfields
and Chair of Retinal Studies at University College London.
ACT is conducting three clinical trials in the US and Europe using hESC-derived
RPE cells to treat forms of macular degeneration. Each trial will enroll a total
of 12 patients, with cohorts of three patients each in an ascending dosage
format. These trials are prospective, open-label studies, designed to determine
the safety and tolerability of hESC-derived RPE cells following sub-retinal
transplantation into patients with dry-AMD or Stargardt's macular dystrophy
(SMD) at 12 months, the study's primary endpoint. On January 20, 2012, the first
SMD patient enrolled in the Company's UK clinical trial was treated at
Moorfields Eye Hospital in London. The final patient of the first cohort in the
company's SMD trial in the US was treated on February 13, 2012.
"DSMB authorization to move to the next higher dosage of cells in our US
clinical trial and complete the treatment of the first cohort of patient in our
European trial represents yet another significant advancement for our clinical
programs," commented Gary Rabin, chairman and CEO of ACT. "We are pleased with
the pace of progress and the continued finding of safety amongst the
participants in both the US and European trials. The results so far have been
encouraging, and with our SMD programs having been granted 'orphan' medicinal
product designation in both the US and Europe, we look forward to eventually
reaching a stage at which we can further avail ourselves of all the regulatory
and financial benefits this designation brings."
The Gap is at .063 down to .043 back in Nov 2010
Getting mighty close!
I guess we now know why they ask for a 1:80 RS!!!
Unfortunately, there is that Nov 2010 gap sitting there at .063 & .04.
Then the last 4years will have been a complete waste.
Man o man
We must have hit the big times
Up over 70%
I can see the money rolling in now!!!
Now, can they just get someone to BUY these hot and exciting social media games??????
At this point, all I hope it means is that we all can at least break even and maybe get our invested money back! If there is some icing on the cake, that would be fine.
But these things don't usually work out to great for existing shareholder.
Looks like the party is over for this year P&D
Looks just like last year at about this same time.
I guess we will have to wait for next years P&D
Sell in May and go away!
I guess today is a day of agonizing PAIN...
when will it stop?
That is the key...
They need to show the revenue on the books
when that happens
the pps will take care of itself!
So maybe UTOG is now a coral reef.
And maybe we have all lost our money.
I already consider this a loss cause.
BUT, I have said this before about some other stocks I have own.
Only to be pleasantly surprised to see them come back to life and make a decent return.
Will it happen here?
I don't know, however since I already consider this lost money
it can only be up from here!!!!
