sounds more like a dime, but think you hit the nail on the head.
Am sure I'm not the only one that thanks you for your input.
GLTA until our moment arrives
I know I'm a slow boat, but I have 2 humble suggestions/questions;
First; I ask for the Obies,(the Elders of the board), (like greenman, ih8aloss and etc.... for their opinion.
Second, I ask that members of the board review and opine about PV's earlier posts. The reasons are simple, SS saw something striking.....as in logical regards to progressive movement for the company.
Let me be clear, I'M in IT to Win It and am asking like minded people to join me. We may have more out there than we can know and understand, but we can do this.......a humble man asking for your help.
My VISION is our Success,
please add your nickel.
You just gotta love it.
Thanks for your stamp, (adds life to the party that will be......oops there I go again).
you're a good man.
Both boards are fortunate to have you.
LOL, haven't you heard, the closer you get to 100 the younger it is.
Problem, the gold still runs down your leg....still remember when I thought it was a joke to flick it.
Who knows, maybe QDs will be the new Fountain of Youth.
Maybe the investors are the key to success; I'm down for $20, but how do you frame what you can't see?
lol. bid @ .0001 for after hour(s) trading for who/why?
forgive the speculative nature,....seems to be bridge building....at least 3 years away, (let's make a deal seems to be implied). Don't know, but think our tech, (as in various TQDs is available for research in some situations for large corporations).
Hope QMC is as protective of tech as they have been about shares,
(suspect they are).
Rock on
Lord have mercy, I think my _________ is QD green
Hope you all have angelic thoughts
LOL, like an attorney told me, "it's all about the contract(s)"
Wonder where we'll be 10 years form now?
lol, might be more like sunbeams and rainbows.......still looking for my pot of gold
I find your DD refreshing and think, yes, we could, but we will not know anything for certain until someone at HQ confirms it. I've cut back on speculative dot connecting as QDs can now be added to just about anything. We have the knowledge to produce multiple kinds of TQDs. Knowledge and products seem to be evolving almost at the speed of light, (slight overstatement there :)) and we have no way of knowing for sure w/o confirmation.
I do think we have a ticket and will be invited to the nano product party sometime. I have no idea as to what or when. According to their business plan it was a big ticket item like Saudi Arabia, but with the social unrest in that area who knows. I suspect they are waiting to announce a confirmed deal at this point.
To those that are tired, I suggest a nap,(I've been in since 09). There are several positives to consider as to pause/stay steady;
1. SS stock purchase
2. They hired one of our own, (PV got his Dream Job and you
know him pretty well).
3. They haven't seriously diluted the stock
4. From what I gather, the team is composed of very ethical people
....to one and all, feel free to add to this list.
While the company hasn't been as informative as I'd like, I for one do appreciate their protecting our interests by not diluting the stock, (pumping and dumping). That implies they are serious and sincere in their efforts to succeed. IMHO they will and I will too.
Forgive the speculative nature of this post, :), but I ask all to feel free to add your nickel to the pot.
Life is Good
A special Thanks to Hawk and Dock for all of your DD and time invested.
interesting subject matter on that site, thxs

…..not a member, but seems to imply objective achieved, (I’m thinking in regards to QMC access/sublicense) as stated in 10K…..that should give QMC a lot more flexibility in negotiating with others.
........another step closer
I think the best tech at this point will be the one we get a contract for, jmho.
Carrier multiplication (CM) occurs when a cell material allows for one photon to excite more than one electron into the electric current flowing from the solar cell. Researchers from Ben-Gurion University (BGU) in southern Israel have discovered just such a cell – which could mean much greater conversion efficiency for thin-film cells.
CM has also been found in nano-crystalline solar cells (quantum dots) and is considered to be a major advantage for those cells. Yet the BGU researchers have shown that CM occurs much more successfully in lead sulfide (PbS) or lead selenide (PbSe) solar cells. These cells are less complex than nano-crystalline cells and were prepared inexpensively.
It’s easy to see how carrier multiplication could have a huge effect on thin-film solar panels. It effectively doubles the efficiency of the solar cell. BGU and its research team have been getting a lot of attention in recent weeks from a solar sector eager and waiting for just such a development. CM could be the ticket to a high-efficiency, low-cost, aesthetically pleasing solar cell.
http://solar.calfinder.com/blog/news/carrier-multiplication-key-to-thin-film-success/
…………..as QMC can produce Tetrapods from more than one substance, I suspect that whatever is the most efficient is where the TQD tech will be focused at.
The researchers tried to eliminate the weaknesses of quantum-dot-sensitized by adding an organic molecule using the semiconductor titanium oxide and cadmium sulfide quantum dots. In this way, the conversion of light into electricity can be improved and makes 3-fold increases in the efficiency of solar cells.
http://alternativeenergyecogreen.blogspot.com/2011/02/quantum-dots-solar-cells-materials.html
…CdSe still competitive. Suspect there will be many markets and applications for what QMC can produce. It’s a good thing we aren’t limited to just one type of tetrapod.
This is kinda like watching water boil. I know things are heating up, it just seems to take a long time....but worth the wait.
Nice find

TEMPE, Ariz., May 12, /PRNewswire/ -- Solterra Renewable Technologies, a wholly owned subsidiary of Quantum Materials Corporation (OTC Bulletin Board: QTMM), today announced its participation in the Japanese External Trade Organization's (JETRO) program for bringing businesses to Japan. Building upon its tetrapod quantum dots and tetrapod quantum dot solar cells being developed in North America, Solterra has been selected to use JETRO's services and will be able to access potential business partners, recruitment companies, legal advisors and temporary office spaces in Japan.
"As Solterra & Quantum Materials Corp. expand sales efforts, we have been actively looking for partners around the world to promote and distribute our low-cost, highly efficient tetrapod quantum dots and quantum dot solar cells to the global marketplace. We have already established a presence in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and are now greatly pleased to be selected by JETRO to help open doors for us in Japan," said Stephen Squires, CEO of Solterra Renewable Technologies, Inc. "With JETRO's help we can now focus on the Japanese market, bringing our innovative technology to their robust electronic manufacturing industry as well as their emerging energy industry. JETRO will be a key medium in the launching our Tetrapod Quantum Dot Materials & Quantum Dot Solar Cell businesses throughout Japan and will be a strategic partner in facilitating the expansion of our market share."
Quantum Materials (Solterra's parent company) develops tetrapod quantum dots for use in a variety of industries including solar, pharmacology, paints, LEDs and lighting systems. Solterra Renewable Technologies focuses on the use of tetrapod quantum dots in an innovative and cost reducing way to produce solar cells. Together, we employ innovative processes to produce a variety or organic and inorganic tetrapod quantum dots using our worldwide exclusive license and proprietary processes. Tetrapods have many unique properties that provide superior performance over traditional quantum dots. Unlike traditional quantum dot manufacturing, Quantum Materials uses novel techniques, which we believe will enable the company to overcome barriers to entry, such as, high volume production in high tech markets. Our technologies offer the ability to produce stand-alone tetrapod quantum dots in large quantities at attractive pricing. As the home of some of the worlds leading consumer electronics manufactures, Japan was a logical next step in executing the company's strategic vision. Through this partnership, we believe we will be able to introduce attractive, innovative, cost reductions in the use of tetrapod quantum dot materials and tetrapod quantum dot based solar cells to Japan. Quantum Materials Corp. and our Tetrapod Quantum Dot technologies have the potential to enable an array of emerging technologies many of which are in the consumer electronics field.

....as Japanese businesses tend to work as a consortium. I suspect any of the members could be a potential opportunity for QTMM. The most obvious choices would be where interests overlap and R&D is lagging behind QMC. We have already raised questions on this board about some members of JETRO in regards to possible connections with QTMM.
Notice also in the membership link the information about intellectual property protection and the contact with China.
JETRO also has contact with Saudi Arabia, (amazingly enough, two ends of a string come back together...coincidence??)
I suspect, given his nature, that SS is working on something big.
I haven't seen enough proof to say exactly what it is, but there seems to be enough sign(s) to say there's something. That's why I'm still kicking stones.
I guess, if enough of us kick stones, we'll either turn something up or have a sore toe....but it won't be for lack of trying will it?
Everyone on board is invited to a Kicking Stones Over Party...lol
...not a stoned over party...maybe we'll find something new.
Hope we have an update soon

sent SS a few questions earlier, still no response. something more concrete than what we have would be nice. still think the QMC team is hard at work, just don't like being in the dark.

……remember the co-funding by Solterra/Nitto Denko? Could be worth further digging.
Regardless, think the following link https://webapp4.asu.edu/directory/person/858379
Is worth playing around with for possible connections, (it’s a small world, after all).
Bud, thanks for responding.
Several things to mention;
1. Yes, could be, but keep in mind w/stealth there may be lots of
could be's, (via JETRO, Nitto Denko/LG/Samsung/Mitsubishi...)
Don't take anything as fact unless/until your DD overwhelmly
supports it, (with caution even then), or you see it in
writing.
2. When you come across some information, please post a link as
everyone may not have read it and may gain more from it than
you or I, (it's a great thing having others with different
talents and pov)
3. When asking a question, you may get better results by asking
in general. You draw from a larger pool. There are some folk
with good minds like ih8aloss/Hawk/Dock/Crunch.....
Ask one and you get a limited response, (and in some situations
desired). Ask in general access the whole board. Those most in
tune usually respond.
Hope this helps. Keep on keeping on. If we keep turning stones over, I'm sure we'll end up knowing more. Funny thing, Crunch, mentioned South America, one site I was at,(in regards to nanoscience), and Mexico was the only country with more reps. there than the US. Go figure, while not exactly South America, (headed that way), who knows.....could be ;)
Don't know about you, but I'll look a little that way too.
saw this and thought of Hawk solar-sailing

.....some may just want to know
Information new/old, helpful/not, you decide
http://nanopatentsandinnovations.blogspot.com/2010/05/climate-change-signal-3200-argo-floats.html
……what if we could capture the heat energy with TQD tech?
Scroll down for nano info on right……just the headline are quite informative
Tech/Nontech, please post what you find of interest, (as it is a bit much for one and information like this is better shared). As QDs seem to have a niche for about everything, I doubt that much will be too far OT. Your input will help stimulate the board and lead to new tidbits of information as some will assist and try to connect the dots via lines of logic.
Thanks
