Why not???
We can fight the devil we can see on the surface. It's the devil we can not see lurking in giant clouds of death and driven on mysterious unpredictable currents of three dimensions in the water column created by those dispersants that is the truly tragic beast yet to manifest itself on the beaches, plankton, inlets. This is an investment I feel proud to be in and believe me, I am ALL IN as of the closing bell on Friday. It feels good to have invested in a green effort to combat this colossal misery. The best way to win this fight is a battle of oil extraction, not oil dispersing!!! This link will show you the devil we can see. http://ocg6.marine.usf.edu/~liu/Drifters/latest_gomhycom.htm
The day 2Moon runs out of superlatives will be the day we all retire.
Now that is a lot of bags of MOP...
Love it.
The MOP is very buoyant and becomes more so with every drop of oil collected and separated form water. You would have to rely on adjusting the "door' at increasing angles and boat speed to keep the sandwich nets at a constant depth.
Yea, we love that guy. What a bright guy he is. lol
Yes Lady, I have been thinking about that. Something along the line of a MOP sandwich could be constructed with metal layers of screen and mesh keeping the MOP from floating. It could be "dragged" behind shrimp boat forming a concave net and adjusted for depth using the traditional "doors" or underwater planers and weights. There are many has-mat considerations.
Can you say.... BUY OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This reminds me of the very last line in the old Cheech and Chong movie UP IN SMOKE when after winning the battle of the bands contest, Cheech turns to Chong and says, "We guna be big Man, We guna be big. We guna be bigger than Rubin and The Jets" LOL
I guess there is not any need in me calling the coastal city of PO Dunk Texas and begging the town manager to buy a couple bags of MOP.
TELL ME WHAT YOU THINK THE OPEN WILL BE ON MONDAY???????????
UP YOURS JAFFEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL
My bad the program was prerecorded this afternoon for air time of 9:00pm tonight.
President Obama will be on Larry King CNN tonight and will be going back down to The Gulf tomorrow. Larry King has a segment of his show for people to call in and ask a question to his guest. We should all make continuous efforts to make contact with the President during the show and ask him why BP has excluded MOP form the clean up. Can you imagine the attention to the company if President Obama were to say, "What is this MOP Environmental Solutions"? Start trying to call in before 9:00pm est. 800-676-2100
78, if you want to sell at this price I will be happy to buy your shares. Have a nice day...
I feel the same way about him.
Good move...
I like it. Why not? Good one Moon.
It is time for us start thinking of fighting this, the biggest oil spill in the history of the USA, as a war to defend the environment. We need to do everything at our disposal to stop this enemy and capture it in a way that does not destroy our environment in the process. MOP Environmental Solution will be a clean green weapon in that struggle.
http://ocg6.marine.usf.edu/~liu/Drifters/latest_gomhycom.htm
The above link clearly shows our monstrous adversary on the surface, not to mention the giant clouds of death mysteriously lurking throughout the water column that could eventually strike beaches, rivers and marshs from Texas to North Carolina.
"We shall fight on the beaches, we shall fight on the landing grounds, we shall fight in the fields and in the streets, we shall fight in the hills; we shall never surrender, and even if, which I do not for a moment believe, this island or a large part of it were subjugated and starving, then our Empire beyond the seas, armed and guarded by the British Fleet, would carry on the struggle, until, in Gods good time, the New World, with all its power and might, steps forth to the rescue and the liberation of the old. " Churchill, Winston
Yes. I vote for allie.
Gopherbroke is right!!!
Hello Allie,
It is fantastic that you are going though the list of TV, radio and news papers and making the exhaustive effort to contact them regarding MOP. It is a long process because I could not supply all of the emails, only phone numbers for some. However, it will be worth it. If anyone can supply email address for these Louisiana stations that would be great. I hope there are others reading this who will call the news tip lines for the broadcasters. As it is a holiday weekend and the business offices may be closed until Tuesday but most will have the "tip line" open to receive calls. Your efforts are to be commended. Let's all try to live up to Allie's example. At the risk of redundancy I will post the list again below. Time to make some calls.

"there's another leak, much bigger, 5 to 6 miles away"
That was May 26. Is there any other news of this from other sources. Seems that every talking head would be screaming about it???
Maybe a good time to post his one again:
This is a comprehensive list of broadcasters in Louisiana. Maybe we should make a concentrated effort to contact all of them on behalf of MOP. May the tedious job of calling begin. It will be worth it.

Current update. Not looking good for Fla. Keys or south east coast of Fla. Also the island of Bimini in the Bahamas could be in the direct path. Anyone have any contacts for the Bahamas or Key West?

And this is only what surface currents show. The giant clouds in the water column are not evident on this link. The devil you don't know may be the worst culprit yet to be dealt with as storm season is starting.

You guys are great. Hold their feet to the fire!!!!!!!!!!
Wow. Almost overwhelming. What we need is for you to narrow that down to all the gulf states, primarily Louisiana and Alabama. This would be extremely helpfully in planing a more localized media blitz. What is needed is a master list of all regional media.
Maybe you could link the MOPN videos on your sites???
I have been comforted by seeing how smart most of the MOPN investors are by staying the course in light of Chuck Jaffe's Market Watch article. I imagine that he did little research in preparation of his knee-jerk statements. The largest oil spill in the history of the United States of America is not going away any time soon. It is only a matter of time and probably not more that a few weeks before Mr. Jaffe will be eating his words. I bought more shares today and wish I had enough money to continue buying on the dips but I am now All In and ALL Dune. Will be in a holding pattern until this uniquely situated pinny stock becomes one that is traded for dollars.
Also we do need to continue the great efforts we have been making to get the word out on MOPN to Gulf Coast TV stations and media contacts.
Could someone please help me compile a master list of media contacts? This is extremely important.

A good friend of MOP provided us with this link to a Google "suggestion box"
According to her MOP has more support than any other suggestions. I have just confirmed this.
If you can help by casting your vote, please do. Every bit counts.

Mop Demonstration
Great find!!! Let's all post to this. http://www.google.com/moderator/#15/e=68c8&t=68c8.42
Looks like the Top Kill might work. That is good for us and the environment because now the focus will be on clean up. There could be a small dip in the pps because some think everything is over and ok when they hear that the leak is stopped. Great time to buy more or get into this stock now. Anyone selling will miss the boat. We should push very hard right now to make MOPN a topic in the meeting tomorrow that President Obama is having with "Mr. Billy", Deano and the others. Let's redouble our efforts to contact their offices today.
Make these guys and anyone else you can think of that may be in that meeting aware of the video and all other pertinent MOPN info.
Looks like we have come to a point where MOPN could go to the next level but she needs our help. The oil is going to keep coming regardless of the Top Kill. I hope it works! The next stage, clean up is just starting. This Fridays scull session with "Mr. Billy", President Obama, Deano and the rest will bring some changes to the way procurements are made. What we need right now is a list of people who will be at that meeting with their contact info and crank up the ole grass roots email blitz. Who among us can rise to the challenge to produce said list? I will get us started with the contact info for "Mr. Billy" and Dino below. It is time for us to really put the pressure on and yes kick ass but do it in a smart way that credits the bottom line. So let's figuring out who may be at this meeting and spread the word of the clean, green MOPN machine. AND TO ALL WHO HAVE NOT CALLED AND SENT EMAILS TO THIS POINT, MY FRIENDS NOW IS THE TIME. Oh, if you are not in this stock yet, we are casting off the lines. Better step aboard.
Take this YouTube link and run with it.
Yes. I agree. You catch more flies with sugar. I did a respectful email to all on your list. Maybe we should all send thoughtful emails to everone on that list to try to make up for that slip. Up to then, you had been great. We can recover with the people on the list but we should be kind when we ask someone for help. Let's get to work on that great email list.
JJVDB I agree that the fishermen are the key. Let's start calling ALL of these guys and sell them on MOP NOW.
