It will work on dimmers, but will shorten the bulbs life.

Maybe in the future they will make a CFL bulb like GE does specificly for dimmer applications

I would imagine so, but good question, that is something you might want to contact the company and ask. I am almost 100% sure you can though, as long as you have a dimmer switch (all the switch does is regulate the voltage going into the bulb)

Wrong, They make them in several wattages,not just 23 also they make them to meet demand world wide, 120-240volt systems
