Was at ESC Hanscom until stop loss lifted post 9/11
Retired at 20 just before OIF. Had the honor to pass torch to next generation family member who I swore in.
Average career with some high points. As far as connections, I am only a "citizen petitioning the government for a redress of grievances" as guaranteed by the Constitution. My grievance is to get the troops what they need COMSEC wise on their I-Phones which I believe to be SFOR's Mobile Trust version 2.
Did you tell them you were not talking high side,(which are very well protected) but ONLY the unclassified issue I-Phones. I bet not!
Thanks again! I agree 2017 will be SFOR's year. It starts right now! There is no year-end announcement of the much ballyhooed R/S.
OMG! Our CEO Mark Kay is a man of his word. He said "No R/S" and none took place last year as feared. 15 months now and counting since the last. Now do you think he is going to execute on the 4 point company growth plan he articulated? I do as evidenced by the announcement of the January shopping program promotion. Stay tuned for who (QVC? HSN?) and the date time group of when it will be aired.
From the bottom of my heart I thank you for vouching for my veracity. I hope that puts this issue to rest. Let this SFOR board know RDY2ROCK and I have never met.
So I hope the board can consider him objective. However, as President Regan said "Trust but verify" Call Mark Kay yourselves if you have any doubt then please truthfully post the results of your conversations with him here for all to read.
So I'm a "disgrace to our military" eh? A shadow box of medals & their citations earned over a 20 yr career in times of peace and war disagree with you. Tell me why you don't want America's best to get the best defensive software, Mobile Trust version 3 on their issue mobile devices?
I forgot to mention Ram's able assistant Leo's contribution then & now.
Thanks papa p! When it comes to SFOR Jesse Livermore's advice works for me. Others may take other great traders advice and/or rely on fundamentals or technical indicators based on their training. We each plan our trade and trade our plan in our own way. I sincerely hope your method brings you prosperity in the coming year and believe SFOR may contribute to it. Long & Strong SFOR!
Thanks Stargazer1945! My last boss in EUCOM (which is joint) was a Navy Seal qualified senior officer. I wish I could repeat their personal motto "I will not fail!" but too many things are out of my hands with SFOR & the US Government. All I can promise is "I will try" in full disclosure, for a very selfish reason. I have close kin, in uniform, deployed overseas now in harms way. They have NO defensive software on their personal mobile device. I sincerely believe Mobile Trust, version 3 is the best and I want it to be issued to them and their battle buddies.
You're right, I'm a good friend but a terrible enemy. I wish you and yours a happy and prosperous New Year and hope SFOR will contribute toward that.
You're absolutely right! Hopefully SFOR can take full advantage of their lapse in security and sell product to frightened DNC staffers to remedy their problem. I know this is vulture capitalism on my part but like you said "They never DID GAS about national security, much less their own". The chickens have come home to roost!
Saw that on the news. Ted Koppel's book's frightening scenario comes to mind. Earlier on I did write the Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security about SFOR. I did so since, as you are aware, the USCG falls under his oversight,
You've done better than me! I wrote I was up over 100% on my SFOR investment since taking and holding it. I check after yesterday's close, it is a 123% gain and I'm delighted! Like you my paper gain was higher in September. Also like you I'm not selling. IMHO the gains we saw in September are but a preview of coming attractions. After I've done considerable DD I am a buy and hold type of investor. I adhere to Jesse Livermore's observation(he was the greatest stock market investor of the 20th century) "There is the Wall Street fool, who thinks he must trade all the time" and advice that "Money is made by sitting, not trading". This is my method. It may not suite you. I perfectly understand that. I also believe the old Wall Street adage
"Bulls make money, bears make money but pigs get slaughtered"!
I will not take the flippers chance of being out of SFOR if it skyrockets. I wish you & yours a happy and prosperous new year.
I believe SFOR may help contribute to that.
Of course not! It is a competitive bidding process. All I could do was help get this legitimate small buisness a chance at bat.
That is correct. ACS is one of SFOR's product distributors to the Federal Government.
Dear DNC Staff,
I am writing you out of concern over Russian hacking of your e-mails with the goal of influencing our recent presidential election. Yesterday I read an article on the intelligence agency review of the matter. The word that jumped out at me was “keylogger”. Last winter I became concerned about protecting my personal and financial information from hackers. I found out that the anti-virus programs available fail to protect against the zero day attacks that key loggers and click jackers use. I wanted multi-layered defense and anti-screen capture capabilities. I read that “Silicon Review” recognized Strike Force Technologies as the world’s leading provider of patented, military-grade keystroke encryption, out of band authentication and two factor authentication. I purchased on-line via Amazon and installed their Mobile Trust product on my mobile device and Guarded ID product on my laptop. I also encouraged family and friends to do likewise. Mobile Trust is now being sold in brick and mortar stores nationwide. It was easy to install, costs $30 a year for two I-phones (or any android device), does not slow things down or cause any other problems. I did this only after Strike Force Technologies settled with Microsoft over patent infringement in January of 2016. A modest investment ($ 15 ea.) to protect all your devices would have prevented that keylogger hack & Russian exploitation of your private e-mails. Please consider making this investment to prevent this from ever happening again! For a quick overview of this technology watch a brief Guarded ID video on You Tube.
Thank you for considering my request to help safeguard our electoral process from the interference of foreign governments. If I can be of any further help in this matter please don’t hesitate to call, e-mail or write me at personal contact information withheld.
Best Regards,
4 Sleddogs

I see this as a new market for SFOR products. If you feel the same consider going to the DNC website and send them an e-mail, write or call. No telling how much product could be sold as there is a crying need for it among them.
When I served a year as an Air Force Finance Officer it meant Request for Proposal. It's the starting point of the DOD procurement cycle.
I believe Mark Kay to be a respectable & honorable CEO. I believe SFOR to be a legitimate, SEC compliant company, with real products that a fellow retired military officer (IT professional) told me "fill an unmet need for our military". In my efforts to get Mobile Trust on troops mobile devices I was encouraged by a Congressional senior field staffer to go to the DOD. I did so with Mark Kay's knowledge. He has thanked me for "raising product awareness with the military". I have done something I never thought I would, lobby senior government and military officials on behalf of a company's product. I believe the troops desperately need it. I have put my reputation on the line to do this because I consider it a matter of national security that SFOR can contribute towards.
I agree SFOR has the right products for the market at the right time.
Great catch! Thanks for posting that. I agree with your suggestion to draft those letters. If readers want to be forward leaning as I have been they can write the President-Elect at:
Presidential Transition Team
725 Fifth Ave
New York, NY
10022
Every letter counts!
Really? Ram came up with Mobile Trust version 3 and Mark got it to market only in late summer!
Wrong!
Nobody knows where it went as the RFP process can not even start until funds are transferred from the Department of the Treasury to the DOD on 1/1/17. I am not privy to the DOD/CIO's decision making. Nobody will know, with any certainty, until the winning vendor is announced. Stay tuned to AFN news to see if SFOR is selected or not sometime in the first quarter of 2017.
Nope! That staffer booked the presentation by ACS to the DOD/CIO on the SFOR solution to their mobile device COMSEC problem. It's already happened. In accordance with legislation passed by Congress on the behest of the SBA to give small business a chance to compete for DOD dollars SFOR HAD to be considered. May the best defensive software provider win! America's best deserves the best and IMHO that's Mobile Trust version 3.
Thank you for the opportunity to restate that!
I'm pleasantly surprised the pps did not stay down with the year end tax loss selling. It bounced right back to where it started this morning! Looks to me like some smart shoppers took advantage of the last trading day of the year blue light special on SFOR stock.
I do not know the specifics of the contract with ACS. They might be able to sue us for breach of the terms of that contract. Right now we might want to stick with them until we are in better financial shape IMHO.
You neglected to mention the letters to a dozen high ranking generals, admirals & senior civilians at the Pentagon & USCG HQ and in D.C I know of no "contract in the works". What I know is that ACS presented SFOR's solution to the DOD mobile device COMSEC problem to the DOD/CIO. It is his office that will determine which of the several vendors that presented get a "contract in the works" following the opening of their sealed bids. All this cannot be done until the US Treasury transfers funds to the DOD on 1/1/17 due to the suspense date of the passed legislation, H.R. 5293-DOD Appropriations Act. That is how the DOD procurement cycle works and create "contracts in the works" these things take time!
Let's pretend ACS actually pulls it off. If (and that's a big if!)they snag a multi-year, DOD-wide contract 15% won't be chump change. In fact it will be a game changer for SFOR because defense contractors have an easier time getting other doors open to them and their products.
I can't fault Mark. Let's face it when I got their foot in the door in the Pentagon's "D" ring we were a complete stranger to them. The DOD/CIO's policy guy stated "I never heard of them until your letter landed on my desk from the WH". Yes, I threw our quarterback a lateral pass (out of the blue on a Friday afternoon). Mark used a big strong linebacker (ACS) to get us some yardage realizing that ACS is a known quantity in the Pentagon.
They are a classic, successful "Beltway Bandit" and I don't mean that in a derogatory way. They just know the ropes in the DOD procurement cycle. Mark didn't. I absolutely blindsided Mark on a late Friday afternoon. I'm sure he only believed it was real when he chatted with the CIO's office (after I gave him their private number) and started the conversation I've been referred to you by a Major 4sleddogs & the CIO said yes, I've been expecting your call this Monday morning. He hung up called & called ACS to make the presentation because he was out of his comfort zone (military)
and knew that's where ACS works & plays well with others. Yeah, SFOR is like a flea atop a big dog, ACS, going for the ride. Mark had little option since the CIO had been taking vendor presentations that week and the week before (a total of 3) He did the best he could with one of the best hired guns among the Beltway Bandits. If SFOR gets the crumbs rom the DOD financial pie
I'll be a happy camper and consider it mission accomplished. The troops finally get the defensive software they urgently need.
"Bad"? Let's call a spade a spade. SFOR was at death's door back then! Mark did what he had to do to survive. The 8 catalysts noted in ZPaul's sticky put us in a position to thrive in 2017.
However, we would have gone out of business unless the hard compromises had been made then IMHO.
I agree, the recently hired sales guy and marketing guy have to earn their salt. If the fruits of their labor are not obvious when the 1st Q of 2017 results are released Mark should remove and replace them. Managers are fired based on quarterly results.
You are probably right. There might even be legally binding non-disclosure agreements. So, we might see an increase in revenue being posted under accounts receivable.
Yup, ACS brings home the bacon for SFOR. I just hope their sales presentation before the DOD/CIO went well. We will know one way or the other once the 1st Q report of 2017 hits the wires. Keep your fingers crossed. The DOD/CIO's policy guy told me his boss had already taken 3 other vendors presentations on their solution to DOD's mobile device COMSEC problem. All I can say is at least SFOR got a chance at bat. In my last phone call with him Mark thanked me for "raising product awareness with the DOD". That can't hurt! Long & Strong SFOR!
Yeah, same here when I e-mailed him my letter about the SFOR solution to the DOD mobile device COMSEC problem to President Trump's nominee for Director of National Intelligence, Carly Fiorina.
Not too shabby at all IMHO! Long & Strong SFOR!
I was unaware the 2016 year-end 10-K was released with total sales figures. I can't find it. Could you please give me a link. Thank you.
You are right of course. Operating costs have risen with the addition to one new employee hired for sales and another for marketing. Given only 1.2 million dollars left for operating capital it is a gamble. However, I believe it is a gamble worth taking. We shall see if these two men are worth their salt with the release of the figures contained in the 1st quarterly report of 2017. Simply put if they fail we fail. I say that because the two did not come aboard until late in Q 3 2016. I'm willing to give them a chance to excel. Long & Strong SFOR!
Thank you for your accurate reporting. We will see which of our strategies does well in 2017 which I believe will be SFOR's year.
I sincerely wish you luck with your active trading and hope it contributes to a happy and prosperous new year!
Once again, you are discounting increasing sales that contribute to their increasing revenues as proven over the last two quarters.
Until we get the 10-K figures we both don't know. I agree with you that at the current burn rate SFOR runs out of cash by 2nd Q 2017. However, there is no telling what deals may be finalized between now and them. The last Q clearly showed SFOR's most active market to be OEM bundling Guarded ID with their products. More OEMs may sign contracts. The bottom line is neither of us know. I see the odds at 50:50. I'll take those odds on success vs failure. I perfectly understand if you would not.
Thank you for bringing clarity to the "chump change" issue! Excellent DD as always in particular that bit about Singapore Telecom, Asia's largest telecom provider with $92 billion in assets. It is yet another Goliath our little David just might bring down. Best of luck in the coming year to Mr. Wolf, SFOR's lead attorney at Blank Rome. Go get 'em Wolf, tear 'em up!
Out of curiosity, what % up are you with flipping SFOR. With my buy & hold strategy I'm up over 100% since I took my position in 2/16. I'll know exactly how much at the close of today's trading.
I disagree with "I guess only flippers and traders made money with SFOR this year" I began posting shortly after I took my position following the Microsoft settlement. As you know, I am not a day trader. Consequently, my patient capital invested here currently shows I'm up on my SFOR investment well over 100% this year. I cannot complain about that in the least!
