Japbrat,
Possible that Caterham is something they all 'contribute' to that has a pool of $$$ when needed?
Also, any chance Peter Khoury is related to Abdul Khoury?
If so, start following that trail...Wow!
I am not bashing anyone here btw, I just want to know why we've had so many alliances, shell companies, LOI, JV's, Products, angles, supposed deals etc.
Japbrat,
Thanks for the review and updates.
Unlike you I would like to see a connection. I can't believe it was just Joe. I would like to know where the lines crossed. I suspect it was Joe's switch licenses and international affiliations and relationships but did GlobeTel seek him out or had players known of each other and 'played' before.
It amazes me to read the TotalAxcess PR's and how many deals they were involved in but there is no money.
I want my money back, because I believed in this product and several of the other products and I am believing now that there never was any intention to make anything come to fruition. There is nothing illegal about that but there should be. It's obviously all too easy to play this shell game.
Just some more links about Joe Monterosso's old companies... no finger pointing just some information. I find alot of these PR's very familiar...

Well Serious because I really don't know anything. I am trying to do DD (albeit 4yrs late) before deciding what my options are.
I am posting here because there are and have been alot of smart resourceful people on this board and maybe I can get some help and help others. There is greater power in numbers and I think numbers is what we need to be a force in some productive way.
I would like to know more about past, present and future BOD members and company executives and also if there is previous connections before Globetel and what those were.
BTW - did you spend any time on the links I sent?
I never mentioned anything about a Wells notice, I don't even know what that means BUT I do know that I have spent a lot of time reading posts here with Joe's name in them so I started to poke around.
What happened to the posts on the GlobeTel ADVOCACY group?
"Yes".
Oh geez. That's not good.
Start here and pay attention to section IV.
http://www.crimes-of-persuasion.com/BoilerRooms/brinton_group.htm
after that start looking up NuOasis and/or Fred Luke, TotalAxcess, Group V, Nona MORELLI'S II, INC, National Pools Corporation, Dennis Houston.
Here's some interesting reading...

Oh an this sounds familiar in a wierd sort of way....

According to reports like this Joe and TotalAxcess were making bundles of money...
http://findarticles.com/p/articles/mi_m0EIN/is_2000_Sept_12/ai_65158582
Looks like Joe's been down the dispute road a few times...
http://sec.edgar-online.com/2000/10/25/08/0001001277-00-000321/Section4.asp
This is but a splattering of links out there on the above people or companies. I encourage others to start searching.
Obviously none of this proves anything but maybe some other folks can start digging. I'm trying to understand the connection between why Joe is so bent on outing Globetel when (a) he really doesn't seem to have a lifetime of experience in Telecommunications so much as a lifetime of owning or being involved in OTC companies. In addition, it looks like he's made a bundle of money from 1995-2000 so why quible over $1200.00 ??
In addition, I would like to see how the dots connect even more because I'm really starting to believe that this whole thing is a sham that goes really really deep and international and has been done over and over again to folks like us.
Oh, and you can ask this board moderator for some info too.
http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/board.asp?board_id=188
I have tried. I haven't been able to get through any of the numbers.
Is Joe Monterosso of GlobeTel the same as the previous CEO of TotalAxcess ?
Is there any connection between GTEM's Joe M. and TotalXAccess, NuOasis (Brinton), Group V etc.
Where's my last post?
It was VERY GTEM on topic.
You know I've been reading these emails, and I have been reading Joe's site and I have been going through old PR's.
As a long time investor/shareholder I have really been trying to figure out what to do and if Globetel is a scam, a shell game both or niether.
What I can deduct seems to be that nobody directly invovled now or in the past, even Joe, has shareholders interests at heart.
Instead of bickering, fighting, accusing, etc. do something positive to right this ship. If possible, the lot of you should be canned.
If I knew somebody with $$$ I would tell them to step in and buy this company out and take whats good (cause there is good in the 4010, the Strat,Voz ) and execute it for real.
The level of immaturity and stupidity amazes me that was involved in this company. No amount of due diligence
could of uncovered this much disfunction.
Leinwand - if you care put something out for real
Khoury - if you care do something real
Joe M - if you care do it for real in a real way, sorry buddy but the website is just mud slinging, real or not.
If anyone has any ideas of how I can possibly recoup some of my honest money that I worked really hard for and invested in something I believe in that turned into this mess I would be really interested.
GTEL insiders I don't know how you sleep at night.
How then do we shareholders get some control or power?
There are so many here (including myself) that spend so much time each day reading (and or posting for some) that the energy could be used for finding a solution.
Can we pool our shares somehow? How can we take control out of the hands that apparently are infighting and not being productive.
Why is there a CEO and an IR person yet seemingly no one else?
How many Americans are on the BOD or in Management now?
I don't know if this is a sham or not but I personally could of been more productive and gotten more done in the 4yrs that I've owned this stock.
I would like to read about solutions on this board now.
I still believe in the Strat "idea" and that is why I invested. I thought my investment money went towards supporting the r/d of the strat.
Let's solve this ourselves as shareholders.
Bottom line, I'd like to get some if not all of my money back and If I don't I don't want to have lined anybody's pockets who had some control.
How many outstanding shares of GTEM are there?
How much would it cost to gain majority ownership of Globetel and all it's assets?
How could the shareholders take over and create a new BOD?
I doubt that he'll go down without a fight. This looks to be the time that Weinland should step up to the plate and earn his keep. From what little I know of him, he is a top drawer lawyer and I think he will have his work cut out for him. This certainly isn't beyond his legal expertise. The beauty of it all is that he has been smack in the middle and knows everything that has taken place, as opposed to bringing in a lawyer from the outside.
what is the name of the website on that photo of the beergirls you post with?
This is even better.

This is funny...

Risk,
Thanks for your opinion, I guess?
Ideally I really wanted to know if I did in fact miss something on the site AND to also not be the only shareholder to communicate to Globetel that they did mention these things.
Maybe others here feel the same way.
I have, and did not have any intention of "slamming" Globetel or critisizing their lack of imaging prowness.
Back in the beginning of April the new "flash" website was introduced, http://www.globetel.net/mexico/index.html.
It was stated that this website would provide updates regarding the Joint venture and how they were progressing.
The site will also provide periodic updates to GlobeTel shareholders of the joint venture's progress as GlobeTel's proprietary HotZone 4010 technology is installed in new markets throughout Mexico, and as No Mas Cables rolls out its range of products in these markets.
I personally have yet to see an update since 4/03/07 (almost 2 months). Has anyone else noticed anything added?
I also want to point out that this website is not easy to find new items as there is no "back"/"forward" buttons on the FAQs section.
In addition, it is stated that "Also, we now have a functional and vibrant template from which to build out other project-centric Web sites, which we can roll out as our other projects begin. These will serve as an enhancement to our traditional sites www.globetel.net and www.sanswire.com, which are currently being redesigned to convey our new look and exciting logo."
But I have not seen any othe project-centric web-sites nor newly redesigned websites (other than the logo addition) for Globetel and Sanswire.
Am I missing something?
He is a hoax. Sorry. I too loved him when he started and in the first season. But the second time I saw the building walk, bummer, saw the cables. I went back and watched again and yup they are plain as day. I then noticed the next time I saw it that the video had been touched up.
But he is entertaining which is really what it is but he should come clean and say he is an illusionist.
Don't be ridiculous, of course it's fair, people aren't.
Umm, that's not very fair for those of us who's WAG's haven't passed now is it!
Thank you thank you thank you. I appreciate that.
Thanks, you must be from the same town as my girlfriend.
Question: "Honey is it raining outside?"
Answer : "I didn't move your car keys."
I couldn't find anywhere that said you can only do 1 WAG.
Can we do more than one? It wouldn't make much sense if you could I realize but I was curious.
WAG 05/23/07 16:25 EST.
Multivalue
Mr Allan,
I agree somewhat. It is high at .18/min to call the US which was most likely VOIP but cannot confirm that.
I beg to differ somewhat re: wages and affordabilty.
In the Yucatan someone is making alot of money. I believe there is poverty but I don't believe appearances or living qtrs appearances are a good or real indication of wealth.
I imagine there are government numbers based on avg. household income and knowing that you can get pc's or laptops at $6000.00 pesos would be affordable. All the shops I saw had 90% foreigners/travellors using them.
Curious about something. I was just in Mexico for a week in Playa Del Carmen. I had my laptop, and there were many personal wifi signals although 95% were secure the other "unsecured" were secured (other than WPA/WEP).
So, I used the local Internet shops, of which there were many.
All had Skype setup for use with a headset and video camera.
Internet usage was 5 pesos for 15mins! At today's exchange that is .458 cents or $1.83 an hour.
Also, using their phone was 2 pesos a minute about .18 cents a minute US.
How are these rates compared to what No Mas Cables will provide?
NRA thanks. It would seem to make more sense then for me as a current shareholder and for shareholders to spend the 150 and buy regular shares at .0002 and get 750000 more unrestricted common.?!?
But they are not common shares in the real sense I thought.
Also, I don't understand why they would do this and they are doing a buy back at the same time.
Thanks NRA,
So what are the pro's and con's if any of doing this or not doing this. In the letter Sandy wrote to shareholders it is mentioned that once 4/30 comes and goes "we will be done with this", what it this he is referring to?
Grabber,
That's what I'm talking about, why should I let them die. I'm just trying to educate myself here.
Can someone answer a question for me without yelling at me or criticizing me or my question.
I own 90909 shares of BKMP that I bought on the open market before they were Blackout Media.
I received a certificate for 909,090,000 fully paid and non-assesable Preferred Shares having at no par value in the Capital stock.
If I round up to the 1 billion and pay the $150.00 to convert those shares to restricted common, do I lose my original 90909??
I have been reading posts and the NR from Blackout but an unsure of what this really means.
In addition, I called the company's Investor relations line and the voice mail is not accepting msgs as it is too full.
Thanks in Advance.
Here's a link re: Weinberg & Co. albeit a few yrs old.
http://www.biospace.com/news_story.aspx?StoryID=15185320&full=1
It mentions Weinburg & Co...
We also anticipate that Weinberg's expertise should be helpful to us in our plans to pursue a listing of our common stock on AMEX
AOBO is $10.00+ a share on NYSE now
My take on it is just what it says, its a vehichle to inform shareholders and would be shareholders (aka readers of these type of boards).
Just read it at face value it explains itself very nicely.
Something is definitely up.
Remember the last NR mentioned "new logo"
which are currently being
redesigned to convey our new look and exciting logo.”
I think GTE as we knew it is over.
I speculate that Sanswire will be sold to someone who either believes in it and will try to make a go, or someone who believes in it and is scared of it so they will make it go away.
I speculate Rocky will sell his holding and not post any more.
I speculate that Motely Fools will write one more story.
Also, I would like to know what happened 2 days ago as according the new web site pre-pays would start 4/11/07.
Also, I hope they do "keep" us investors notified of news on the new web site as promised.
The site will also provide periodic updates to GlobeTel
shareholders of the joint venture’s progress as GlobeTel’s proprietary HotZone 4010 technology
is installed in new markets throughout Mexico, and as No Mas Cables rolls out its range of
products in these markets.
The fall guy I'm sure, someone had to be and his name was all over everything.
GTEM is sure trimming the fat, somethings a brew'n. I hope its good because I would love my 60k investment back.
You missed a zero.
Times 49%
250,000 x$20.00 x 12 = $60,000,000.00/year
= 29,400,000./yr
250,000 x $20.00 x 12 = $60,000,000.00/year
49% = $29,400,000.00
I am curious.
No Mas Cables de Mexico expects to build networks that will serve urban areas
Could this be any more ambiguous? Does anyone have any DD here.
