This is a comprehensive list of broadcasters in Louisiana. Maybe we should make a concentrated effort to contact all of them on behalf of MOP. I do not have email addresses for all but it may be better to make calls and establish a connection with a real person over the phone and ask them personally for their email address. This could go a long way to jump starting media coverage in the local area where people will have a heightened urgency and be the most likely to embrace Mop Environmental Solutions. May the tedious job of calling begin. It will be worth it.

2moon, That is a very interesting description of your Harvester. I wish you the best of luck. You seem to have the spirit and determination. How much MOP does you prototype use? Hope you can resupply your MOP inventory quickly. Have tried to recycle the product you have on hand. It is good for a few uses with a slightly diminishing return each time. That's right but the problem was that with traditional netting the Mop would float up and out or bunch up or simply go right though the large mess. My suggestion was to create a more ridged "sandwich" of smaller metal mess thus containing the MOP and use standard shrimp trawling methods to to control desired depths with "doors" (shrimp talk for underwater planers) to collect oil in plumes in the water column.

Yes shauno that is NEW news. The other town in Florida ordered loose sorbent. Did you see all that boom piled up behind Charlie? Don't forget the fact that with the new supply agreement with Gobal Sales Company to manufacture 5" and 8" booms and have them meet the standards which are common characteristics, as with polypropylene booms sold throughout the world, MOP will be able to keep up with demand even if many towns follow this proactive decision to buy their own boom.

We should develop a master list of all towns on the Gulf and contact the town counsel members, mayors and emergency managers ASAP. Can anyone suggest a way to compile such a list???
