They had these shares since may:
As of May 7, 2013, there were 193,967,542 shares of our common stock outstanding.
How could they say only 88m in just released 10Q??
Something sound fishy here!
Plus it look like TRTC wont be growing anything in NJ.
http://www.nj.com/news/index.ssf/2011/03/nj_health_department_announces.html
"when they Acquired Edible Garden. Its a totally new game now."
You are exactly right. As long as TRTC can grow and expand this part of the business as their main income producer, the company should grow in revenue and shareprice.
The marijuana side, I don't know yet. If they could get a niche here and get a government approved piece of the market, then who knows where TRTC could go.
Just think if they could get one 5 acre greenhouse near most major large metropolitan areas. This would probably guarantee them a share of the fresh produce market. So, there is room to grow here.
They could probably sell franchises and be the McDonalds of fresh local food.
The only thing they would have to really worry about is weather. Like a hurricane here in the South, a Tornado, or a bad winter storm.
Anyway, I really think the future look bright as long as THEY DON"T SCREW IT UP and get caught up in some wild financing scheme like I have seen many start-up companies do and die.
Thanks.
I couldn't find any news story that justified such a fall.
I unfortunately bought in at .20 in the early spring only to watch it fall to .10 where I thought it might have bottom and bought some more only to watch it fall to .06 where it did finally bottom. At .07 I started buying big lots and worked my average down to .099 with 23K shares. So needless to say I am a happy camper today.
I just hope that I don't have to relive my MJNA experience with TRTC. I amassed 55,000 shares of MJNA during its lows around .05. I then sold all @ .14 with the hope of buying it back a little lower only to find out that TD Ameritrade put a DTIC chill on it so I was locked out from buying my shares back as I watched it climb to .50. That little experience cost me about $20K in loss gains!!!
Anyway, I feel good about TRTC and will hold Very Long. The edible garden part should bring in a good profit. The marijuana part is to be seen as the laws change in each state.
GLTA
Could someone who has been in TRTC since the crash from .66 in Feb
please give a short reason as to the cause of the crash.
TIA
IMO, TRTC should stay out of the marijuana growing business other than selling the equipment to grow it. Every mother son will start a marijuana farm to grow it if it become "Federally approved" for medical use. This will cause a glut of marijuana on the market and depress the price. Or at least those companies with deep pockets will control the market.
Not everyone needs medical marijuana, but everyone has to eat.
But what do I know.
PPS Seems to be picking up some.
I guess we will have to wait until next quarter after they completed the NJ site and it gets up and running. People have to eat, they want fresh local food and they will pay for it.
Back into the 2o's would be nice
Looks like no one cares!
And I am still stuck in the red.
OCZ Technology Group Raises $13 Million in Private Placement
8:00a ET August 13, 2013 (Benzinga)
OCZ Technology Group, Inc. (NASDAQ: OCZ) (the "Company"), a leading provider of high-performance solid-state drives (SSDs) and power management solutions for computing devices and systems, today announced that it has signed definitive agreements with various institutional and accredited investors to raise gross proceeds of approximately $13 million in a private placement of Senior Secured Convertible Debentures and Warrants. The transaction is subject to customary closing conditions.
The Senior Secured Convertible Debentures are secured by a lien on all of the assets of OCZ Technology Group, Inc. and its subsidiaries, and are subordinate to the Hercules Technology Growth Capital, Inc. ("Hercules") Loan and Security Agreement. The debentures carry a 9 percent interest rate per year, payable in cash, and will mature on the one year anniversary of the closing date. The debentures are convertible into shares of OCZ Technology common stock at a conversion price of $1.70 per share.
In connection with the offering of the debentures, warrants will also be issued at closing that provide investors the opportunity to purchase common stock equal to 75 percent of the number of shares into which the debentures will be convertible, and at a strike price of $0.75 per share. The warrants will have a 5 year term from the closing date. Both the conversion price of the debentures and the exercise price of the warrants are subject to price adjustments in relation to anti-dilution events.
"This new financing provides OCZ with additional capital to continue the transformation of our business as the Company continues to focus on delivering high performance, client and enterprise solid state storage solutions," stated Rafael Torres, CFO of OCZ Technology.
In addition, OCZ Technology also announced that it has retained Deutsche Bank Securities Inc. as financial advisor to assist the board of directors in evaluating various strategic alternatives available to the Company.
At closing, the Company will amend its Loan and Security agreement with Hercules as the Company did not meet certain covenants. In connection with the amendment, all of Hercules warrants, or approximately 3.9 million warrants, will be cancelled. This loan will now be payable on June 1, 2014, and will include a loan fee of $6.5 million that will be payable at maturity of the loan and be junior to the Senior Secured Convertible Debentures. Upon the effectiveness of this amendment, Hercules waives any existing defaults. Additional details of the transaction will be filed in an 8-K and OCZ encourages investors to read the filing for a better understanding of the terms of the funding.
OCZ will be required to file a resale registration statement within 60 days following the closing that covers the resale by the purchasers of the shares issuable upon conversion of the debentures or exercise of the warrants. The debentures and warrants have not been and will not be registered under the Securities Act of 1933 or the securities laws of any state or jurisdiction. This press release does not and shall not constitute an offer to sell, or the solicitation of an offer to buy, any of the securities, nor shall there be any sale of securities in any state or jurisdiction in which such offer, solicitation or sale would be unlawful prior to registration under the securities laws of any state or jurisdiction.
About OCZ Technology Group, Inc.
Almost right back from where I started from a 2 weeks ago.
Was this all just an old fashion Pump&Dump!
Well, it did go down when the CCI broke 100 at that moment in time.
http://stockcharts.com/h-sc/ui?s=ONVO&p=D&st=2013-05-01&en=2013-05-31&id=p27869139771
Just a matter of which came first: The chicken or the egg??
I like the CCI because it is simple to use
and most of the time accurate, to me at least.
But you do need to verify by using MACD and RSI
When the CCI spike above 200
I set my "sell" radar when it breaks back below 130.
Look at any stock and see what the results.
Anyway, to each their own
GLTA
My technical say it is going back down.
http://stockcharts.com/h-sc/ui?s=ONVO&p=D&yr=0&mn=3&dy=0&id=p56860092577
When the CCI breaks below 100, time for a downtrend
Could be wrong, but it rarely fails to be correct.
Just a matter of how low and how long.
ONVO has had a nice run and is way above 50 dma.
Look like Momentum traders have left town.
They made their money this week
and are out the Hamptons sipping wine, eating caviar and enjoying life.
Well, somebody has the power and money to run this thing Up and then right back Down in the matter of a few trades..
Pure manipulation!
Amazing
Wow
Just snapped my neck on that liftoff
Wasn't prepared for it!!!!
The bottom is where this run started last week around $4
Lots of shares bought since then
they can just walk it down a little at a time to shake people out, including me and trigger all those stop loss orders.
I may be up 50%, as I type, but I ain't no fool to give it all back.
The commission isn't the problem as long as it is gained back.
But yes, if you buy small batches of shares, it will add to your total cost per share.
But for trading purposes
if I start the day off with $100
do some trading
end the day with $140 after all commissions are cover
that is REAL CASH in your pocket.
man this 7.45 sucks!!!!
Thanks Lucky
I guess I should have said that I added 15 more shares to my total count (635 to 650) and made $40 pocket money and $20 to cover commission.
Dang..
This thing moves FASSSST
Sold a little to early
and bought back a little to soon
but I did add 15 more shares to my total
and made $40
So wasn't too bad of a trade!
Yes, I sold once for a quick trade
during the first run up in the 4's
wanted to many a times since
especially after yesterday
But when you are in the green
and up 50%
it is easy to hold!
The stock is now in the hands of the traders..
They run it up 2%+ then sell
They run it down 2%+, then buy
Just set you a EMA envelope
set it at 10days and 2%
and trade with them
or at least watch the swings and learn.
I guess they want to fill that Gap
Too much of a run up to maintain with no news to support it.
Great finish...
I am now only in the red $4.86
Looking forward to a ride up!
Lets hope it hold up around here.
But I feel with no follow through by the company with any sustainable news
The shorts will come in and walk it back down
once it becomes marginable and optionable
There is a lot of air in a 50% rise in a few days!
I am up 41% in one account
bought some more this morning in another account
and already down 5%
GLTA
I bet that is a shared problem!
I kept waiting to buy
but finally decided to on uplisting news
So my cost is 4.20 for my measly 350 shares.
Now if ONVO can follow the path of other 3D printing companies
then we all should be very happy with any amount of shares we have now.
Symbol Name Price
ONVO Organovo Holdings, Inc. 6.01
AMAVF Arcam AB 53.0575
XONE The ExOne Company 67.54
DDD 3D Systems Corp. 47.95
SSYS Stratasys Ltd. 92.32
When does TRTC plan to report on 2nd Qtr?
Because the Company should have had this uplifting today
in association with some big news story.
Some type of fanfare might have been nice.
BWTFDIK
Not too much farther to go till zero
the pain wont be so bad from this height!
Just another worthless stock ticket I will have to remove from my account.
The reason the volume is so low is because there is no reason to buy and there is no reason to sell.
Those who are still in IVAN and still waiting wont sell and those who wanted out, already sold.
The only exposure IVAN has to the market is on NASDAQ and it is a sub dollar stock. It has been kicked out of all other indexes, so no other exposure to produce any Volume.
Until IVAN comes out and flatly says that their two projects (Ec and Tamarack) will not happen because they weren't approved or have no money to complete, those who are still in IVAN still have some hope to recover some of their loses or return to profit.
So we sit and wait.....
While you wait, go look at ONVO
tomorrow it gets listed on Nasdaq
3D printer companies are the future
Just do some DD on these other companies
Symbol Price
ONVO 5.06
AMAVF 54.50
XONE 67.75
DDD 48.05
SSYS 90.20
If ONVO can do as well as the other 3D printer stocks
then we are in for a nice ride once the list!
Symbol Price
ONVO 4.97
AMAVF 54.10
XONE 72.86
DDD 47.568
SSYS 89.20
Irvine, July 9, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Terra Tech Corp (TRTC) a leader in sustainable agricultural products, announced today that it has launched a new e-commerce platform along with strategic partner Family Hydroponics, the nation's largest urban agricultural retail franchise group. Last year Terra Tech signed an agreement with Family Hydroponics, which operates over thirty stores throughout eight states. Part of that agreement was for Terra Tech to design and manage Family's online store to compliment their strong retail presence. The online store has a competitive advantage over other online hydroponic retailers due to familys' diverse geographic footprint, which allows for faster shipping and greater affordability for consumers. www.Grassvalleyhydrogardenstore.com is the first site to be launched and will be supplied by one of their largest and most successful locations in Grass Valley, CA .
Derek Peterson , CEO of Terra Tech Corp. , is excited for the chance to work with Family Hydroponics. Family is the largest retailer of urban agricultural products in the market today with over $25 Million in buying power and the broadest reach of any hydroponics merchant. Family Hydroponics has long been committed to expanding their retail footprint of urban gardening stores throughout the US and as part of the agreement GrowOp Technology Ltd. , a Terra Tech subsidiary, will have their products featured throughout the site.
"Urban agriculture is taking root throughout this country and the Family brand has enjoyed a tremendous amount of success in the market," said Peterson. "Over the past several years we have seen sales of hydroponic equipment move from traditional brick and mortar to online retailers. We are confident that Family Hydroponics can replicate the success they have had in traditional retail to the online community."
Terra Tech Corp. , through their subsidiary GrowOp Technology, distributes and markets a line of premier hydroponic equipment to retail stores throughout the United States .
"but I still think if I keep the faith I will be justly rewarded within a year or so."
Dang, that is what I have been saying for over 5+ years.
But please do keep buying, we need someone to make it look alive.
I will hold to the end (or when told otherwise), but I will not buy another share until they deliver on something!
I have no fingers left.
I would be glad to move to a any company if only I could sell my UTOG for some money to do so!!!!
Someone just also just bought 2500 Jul 2.50 calls and sold 2500 July 2.50 Puts.
You are right about that, there is nothing left.
They are down to skin and bones.
Don't forget that they owe Talisman $15million as soon as approval is reached. Plus they owe that $65million in a few years.
So in a sense, that cash is accounted for!
Good news would be very nice,
Gee, where did all my gain go?
VSPC was my best performing gainer
now it is in the red again.
Is it time to buy more??
I hope to see way lots more too!
But just to get out of this .015 into .016
would be a good start.
I would love to see .016.
getting tired of this .015!
