THE SOURCE OF PPJ'S NEW WEBSITE
Some have speculated the PPJ must have hired someone to produce their new website. Although it is possible that Chandana Basu may have delegated the job of filling out the Wix templates used to produce the new website, anyone could have done this for her. A high priced web developer was not required. Actually, shareholders should be happy that excessive amounts of their funding was not required to complete this task.
How do I know that a set of Wix templates were used to produce the new PPJ website?
If you look at the HTML source code of the home page (or any of the other pages) from the PPJ website (see pasted copy below), it is very clear that the code is a Wix template for each of the web pages on the PPJ website.
However, if you still are not convinced, here is the URL link to the original template set used to create the new PPJ website:
http://www.wix.com/website-template/view/html/633?originUrl=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.wix.com%2Fwebsite%2Ftemplates%2Fhtml%2Fbusiness-services%2F14&bookName=create-master-new&galleryDocIndex=2&category=business-services

"1. A corporation organized pursuant to the laws of this State shall, on or before the last day of the first month after the filing of its articles of incorporation with the Secretary of State or, if the corporation has selected an alternative due date pursuant to subsection 11, on or before that alternative due date, file with the Secretary of State a list, on a form furnished by the Secretary of State, containing:
(a) The name of the corporation;
(b) The file number of the corporation, if known;
(c) The names and titles of the president, secretary and treasurer, or the equivalent thereof, and of all the directors of the corporation;
(d) The address, either residence or business, of each officer and director listed, following the name of the officer or director; and
(e) The signature of an officer of the corporation, or some other person specifically authorized by the corporation to sign the list, certifying that the list is true, complete and accurate.
2. The corporation shall annually thereafter, on or before the last day of the month in which the anniversary date of incorporation occurs in each year or, if, pursuant to subsection 11, the corporation has selected an alternative due date for filing the list required by subsection 1, on or before the last day of the month in which the anniversary date of the alternative due date occurs in each year, file with the Secretary of State, on a form furnished by the Secretary of State, an annual list containing all of the information required in subsection 1."

"Now we've separated that from the get rich quick crowd."
"The problem I have is one person could not doing all the billing that the company said they have received recently. I would in the Medical software field. I know how much time and effort it takes to be a billing service."
"You think that last 50 million and 28 million dumped this morning could have been the Attorney? There wasn't enough volume last week to dump that many shares, and I can't believe it was retail as they would have taken a huge loss as I am sure they bought much higher than .0005. But Basu probably sold those shares cheap to a 3rd party so whoever sold those 80 million shares probably still made some bank."
"Doesn't Basu feel silly now if the settlement offer was more than what was awarded by the jury?" --- Ed
"Unfortunately, I don't think she possesses the ability to feel silly. If she did, she'd realize that insisting on a jury trial that lasted more than three weeks, and then asking for a do-over is unlikely to fly, and that she runs the risk of looking ridiculous.
She also runs other risks. If Judge White doesn't like this new strategy, it's within her power to reduce Basu's award to zero. I don't think she'd do that, but she could." --- Janice
"PPJE does not have $300k cash...
if and when they do receive a check, the majority will probably go to "Accounts Payable, Legal".
That's my point."

"Ed... go back to Jan 2014 and see what the OS was... I think it was like 384 million... we are a long way from there with what in return?"

"We needed at least 5 million to move this."
"I know the company says it thinks about it's shareholder... if it did, why has the O/S increased from like 300 million to 2,748,109,057 (From ED) which I believe it is higher..."
Wow! Something like 40 million shares traded in about the first minute of trading. Then, volume increased to over 47 million then just plain stopped.
Nothing but crickets now...
Looks like everyone that wanted out at any price all got out, and everyone else is standing firm that they will take $0.0004 (or some higher PPS) and nothing lower.
The rest of the trading day could be very interesting... and by interesting, I mean boring... because NO trading is rather boring.
TRIAL WIN OR LOSS? PART 2
A MATHEMATICAL EXAMINATION OF TRIAL RESULT AS REPORTED BY JANICE
This post is an updated version of my previous post #44376.
(Reference: http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/read_msg.aspx?message_id=106475391)
You will note that Janice was slightly off on the amount awarded to PPJ.
She reported that $300,001.00 was awarded to PPJ for the fiduciary duty claim. PPJ's PR states that "for breach of his fiduciary duties as a member of the company’s board of directors $300,100 was awarded." One can easily see how someone sitting in the courtroom could mistakenly hear "three hundred thousand, and one dollars" instead of "three hundred thousand, and one hundred dollars." This doubly true while attempting to both listen and take notes simultaneously.
This is why I noted earlier that there could be some errors in the numbers that Janice reported, and it turns out that there was an error. However, the $99 difference is not a significant error.
(Reference: http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/read_msg.aspx?message_id=106452726)
It is also noteworthy that the PR issued yesterday by PPJ skipped any acknowledgement that Grewal also was awarded some amount for damages. The PR states that "$300,100 was awarded" and "jurors only awarded the company $1 in damages on that count." That adds up to $300,101.
However, the PR opened with that statement that "A jury on Friday awarded PPJ Enterprise nearly $300,000...."
The PR completely neglected to mention that there was a third amount of $74,825 awarded. However, that amount was negated by the two awards given to Grewal. It is obvious that PPJ management is hoping that no one will figure out that $301,101 is greater than $300,000 because then they might wonder what happened to the $1,102+ that is missing in order to end up with "nearly $300,000."
(Reference: http://www.otcmarkets.com/stock/PPJE/news/PPJ-Enterprise-to-seek-new-trial-following-decision-in-collection-lawsuit?id=88242&b=y)
Correcting the one incorrect figure reported by Janice, we get the following:
$300,100.00 awarded to PPJ for the fiduciary duty claim
$74,825 awarded to PPJ for the intentional misrepresentation claim
$1 awarded to PPJ for the billing trade secret claim
$59,000 awarded to Grewal for the intentional misrepresentation claim
$27,687 awarded to Grewal for the conversion and breach of fiduciary duty claim
As would be expected, an extra $99 does not change the outcome...
$300,100.00 awarded to PPJ
$74,825 awarded to PPJ
$1 awarded to PPJ
Total awarded to PPJ: $374,926
$59,000 awarded to Grewal
$27,687 awarded to Grewal
Total awarded to Grewal: $86,687
Net result of award: $288,239 awarded to PPJ
On 8/11/2014, PPJ Enterprise's transfer agent, Pacific Transfer, informed me that the O/S for PPJ was 2,748,109,057 shares. Sorry that I have not gotten more recent numbers. I plan to contact them on Monday to see if the O/S has changed.
Last Friday, the Price Per Share (PPS) for PPJE closed at $0.0004 so PPJ's market cap is $1,099,243.62 (2,748,109,057 shares outstanding x $0.0004).
After we add the reported results of the trail award, PPJ's market cap increases to $1,387,482.62 ($1,099,243.62 + $288,239.00).
Although nothing like was PPJ shareholders hoped would occur to PPJ's market cap, it is still a 26.2% increase in market cap (($288,239.00 / $1,099,243.62) x 100).
To have any corporation have a 26.2% increase in value overnight is very good thing. The reason why this increase will not please shareholders is simply because at the very low PPS range where PPJE exists, even one tick change in PPS requires an extraordinarily high increase in market cap percentage. That is why we play with subpenny stocks in begin with.
$0.0004 + 26.2% = $0.0005
So, if the market agreed that PPJ was worth $0.0004 per share on Friday, then from the viewpoint of a mathematical analysis, PPJ should be worth $0.0005 per share on Monday.
"Grewel could decide to just settle for a larger amount rather than go through an appeal process and potential new trial. Who knows."
Maybe Basu will relocate to Colorado, buy a plot of land, pitch a tent on it, and start selling pot out of her tent. News of that might get the PPS of PPJE stock going up. : )

TRIAL WIN OR LOSS?
A MATHEMATICAL EXAMINATION OF TRIAL RESULT AS REPORTED BY JANICE
As most people now know, Janice Shell has made the assertion that she had an acquaintance inside the courtroom last Friday when the verdict was announced.
(Reference: http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/read_msg.aspx?message_id=106452726)
Later, when she received additional details, she passed them along. Those details add up as follows:
$300,001.00 awarded to PPJ for the fiduciary duty claim
$74,825 awarded to PPJ for the intentional misrepresentation claim
$1 awarded to PPJ for the billing trade secret claim
$59,000 awarded to Grewal for the intentional misrepresentation claim
$27,687 awarded to Grewal for the conversion and breach of fiduciary duty claim

My objective here is purely an unbiased look at the numbers, and what they would really mean. It would seem that Janice's only skin in this game is her own reputation, and she knows very well that we WILL be able to verify the accuracy of what she reported once the court releases the results in an official, indisputable court document. Therefore, Janice knows that any attempt at deception will be exposed soon, so I don't think anyone would suggest that she would be so foolish as to intentionally mislead people about this. At the same time, even Janice would have to admit that she has this information second hand from someone else, and that her acquaintance could have heard the information incorrectly, could have reported to her incorrectly, or Janice herself could have misunderstood. Though none of these things are that likely, they are all possible, and Janice's second hand report is not the same as information from a court document.
So, what we have is information which has a reasonable probability of being correct, but it has not yet been verified.
Let's run the numbers and see what we learn...
$300,001.00 awarded to PPJ
$74,825 awarded to PPJ
$1 awarded to PPJ
Total awarded to PPJ: $374,827
$59,000 awarded to Grewal
$27,687 awarded to Grewal
Total awarded to Grewal: $86,687
Net result of award: $288,140 awarded to PPJ

Although nothing like was PPJ shareholders hoped would occur to PPJ's market cap, it is still a 26.2% increase in market cap (($288,140.00 / $1,099,243.62) x 100).

$0.0004 + 26.2% = $0.0005
So, if the market agreed that PPJ was worth $0.0004 per share on Friday, then from the viewpoint of a mathematical analysis, PPJ should be worth $0.0005 per share on Monday.
Of course, the difference for which this analysis does not account is that on Monday, the POTENTIAL additional value of the award from the trial has been erased. At some level, the market always factors potential future value into the market value of a share of stock. Now, that potential value no longer exists. So now, we will see what the market determines is the actual and potential value of PPJ as a business.
One bright spot about this is that the court will likely create the constructive trust which PPJ has requested to lock Grewal's assets equal to the award amount in order to protect them. It is also VERY unlikely that Grewal will attempt to appeal this verdict so PPJ will likely obtain the cash from the award very quickly.
"Not in Texas, not in Florida, may not be anywhere."
"I'm doing the math correct, right?"
Oh BTW, did your buddy in the courtroom write down all of these notes while they were being read, or was there any opportunity after the fact to get access to anything in writing to confirm accuracy?
"There will be a final hearing on 16 September to discuss any issues the parties may have with the jury's findings"
" As she dismissed the jurors, she not only thanked them for their service but also told them they were the best jury she'd had in her 17 years on the bench. Apparently she appreciated their attention to detail.”
WHAT WE WILL KNOW ABOUT THE TRIAL AND WHEN WE ARE LIKELY TO KNOW IT
"Los Angeles is three hours behind New York, so I guess the earliest we will find out is 9am Los Angeles time which I think will be 12 noon New York time?"
"I know someone who attended court today. The jury returned its verdict before noon.
The case was, as we all know, complex. The jury had 60 special verdict forms to fill out. The jurors' findings were that Grewal was liable in a small way on some causes of action. His maximum liability seems to be about $375K. PPJE was also found liable, but in smaller amounts.
More details to come, I'm sure. But in the end, it's not a win for Basu."

VERDICT REACHED IN PPJ v. GREWAL TRIAL!

Jury Trial - Verdict Reached

Case Number: BC427192
"Probably the judge (and everyone else) was grateful that it didn't end in a mistrial."
"Apparently the judge complimented the jurors for their service and their attention to the evidence presented."
"Ok to the best of my knowledge, if you knew the verdect before mostly everyone in the known world, are you not considered a little type of insider trading, knowing that you probably dumped your shares if you had any. Not trying to be rude but, people have been reported for less. So watch what and how you say or word it, cause now the SEC is more than likely looking into you. Just be careful."
"Apparently quite a few jurors bailed. Eventually, only 11 were left, with no alternates. Both parties stipulated that they'd accept a verdict from the reduced panel, and the judge allowed it."
"I had no idea jurors could just say "Seeya!" and leave."
Hey Janice...
Before today's verdict was finalized, had you heard anything that indicated that there was a concern that we might have ended up with a mistrial due to lack of jurors remaining? If you know anything about that, could you tell me what you heard?
"Yes, of course. Can't let a mistake stand.
Does that somehow change the verdict in the case?"
