Dear Vice President Elect Pence,
I was greatly encouraged to read the administration’s statement to Reuters Friday on combating cyber-attacks. As a retired USAF intelligence officer and former HQ/EUCOM member, I was alarmed when I read EUCOM’s Lt/Gen Ben Hodges AFN interview in Poland during the NATO Operation Anaconda field exercise in June. In it he stated: “Neither (unclassified) radio communications nor email are secure” and “I assume everything I write on my BlackBerry is being monitored.” I believe he’s absolutely right! This COMSEC problem can become an OPSEC one with dire consequences in the near future by helping enable enemy targeteers to put munitions on American targets and troops, as I did to our country’s enemies as an Air Force targets intelligence officer.
As you are aware, our military is switching from Androids to the Chinese made I-phone 6. In July, (relationship withheld) and fellow unit members deployed to the Middle East in support of operations against IS with their personal mobile devices. These and issue I-phones have inadequate protection against cyber-attack and exploitation by hostile intelligence services, exposing them to be found, targeted and killed, preventing mission success.
This winter I became concerned about protecting my personal information and financial information from hackers. I found out that the anti-virus programs out there fail to protect against the zero day attacks that key-loggers and click-jackers use. I wanted multi-layered defense and anti-screen capture capabilities. I read that “Silicon Review” recognizes Strike Force Technologies as the world’s leading provider of patented, military grade keystroke encryption, out of band authentication and 2 factor authentication. I purchased via Amazon and installed their Mobile Trust product on my mobile device. I also encouraged family and friends to do likewise.
Mobile Trust is now being sold in brick and mortar stores nationwide. It was easy to install, costs $30 a year for two I-phones, does not slow things down or cause any other problems. I did this only after Strike Force Technologies settled with Microsoft over patent infringement in Jan. 2016. In full disclosure I was so impressed with Mobile Trust that I bought SFOR stock. Please consider getting our troops something to fix this tremendous COMSEC problem. I don’t even care if it’s Mobile Trust! They just need something better than the standard consumer encryption Apple provides its I-Phone 6. It is nowhere near the level of protection they need!
The outgoing POTUS forwarded my letter to him to the DOD/CIO office for action. However, no defensive software was provided our troops due to the Congressional budget impasse. With the recent passage of the 2017 DOD Appropriations Act, funds are finally available to do this. When you become Vice President, please help! If I can be of any further service to you or our country in this matter please don’t hesitate to e-mail, call or mail me at (personal contact info withheld)

Thanks! I just hope it leads to something specific. Mobile Trust winding up on a certain family members & their battle buddies military issue I-Phone 6s. That's my bottom line.
You have a valid point. I will if she has an official job in the administration. If not, no way! Presidents are pretty firm about keeping immediate family members strictly off limits. I recall Bill Clinton even passed a message to the WH Press Pool regarding his feline family friend it was simply, let the cat alone! One must tread carefully and respect those limits.
President Elect Trumps remarks released 10/3/16 contain this sentence. "I will make certain that our military is the best in the world in both cyber offense and defense." Later on he spoke of augmenting US Cyber Command not privatizing it as you fear.
Let's give him a chance and see what transpires in his first 100 days in office O.K.? Until then I am reserving judgement an am in fact guardedly optimistic that cyber will be high on his priority list. Also, when he walks into the WH there will be a letter from me in the mailroom. It will mention the potential SFOR solution to our military mobile device COMSEC problem, Mobile Trust, version 3. That letter will be the follow-up to the one I sent him at One Trump Tower shortly after the election on the same subject. I just hope one of the letters about SFOR to him or a member of his team gets to their desk as my letter to President Obama did. Time will tell. Until I get a reply from this Administration, as I did the last, I will keep writing in support of the troops. I MUST try, for my kin and comrades!
Thanks for that link!
Like you I've listened to President-Elect Trump's campaign speeches. Cyber security was a topic in one of his speeches. Also after the election somebody he trusts got to him. Your guess is as good as mine which is Lt/Gen Flynn. Whoever it was, made him aware of the current cyber threat. Today's Reuters interview statement tells me he has acknowledged that and will do something about it. Time will tell. As far as privatization is concerned that would entail standing down an entire joint command, the US Cyber Command. IMHO, as a retired military officer, to remove and replace that with a large defense company would be extremely problematic. Please do some DD on US Cyber Command assets to realize the enormity of privatizing it and how difficult a seamless, smooth transition would be. Thank you. Based on the strength of today's public statement I will shortly be writing Vice President-Elect Pence and informing him of the potential SFOR solution to the military mobile device COMSEC problem, Mobile Trust, version 3.
The genie of encryption is long out of the bottle and sold to consumers by other companies besides SFOR. The new Administration will be proactive in helping us secure our personal
& financial data IMHO based upon the Reuters article posted today.
Outside of Trump Tower Pence told reporter Steve Holland "The president-elect has made it very clear that we are going to take aggressive action in the early days of our administration to combat cyber attacks and protect the American people from this type of intrusion in the future". Can we at least agree to give the new administration a chance (its first 100 days) to see if this takes place or not? With this policy publically articulated do you really think the Trump administration would flip flop and ban all encryption including SFOR's technology putting the American people at risk? I don't!
Gold49er I think you've cracked the code! What you have written makes perfect sense to me. Great reasoning/logic.
You're absolutely right. Just the date of origination of Ram's 698 patent is a strong point in our favor IMHO.
Know that I follow your advice. Mr. Kay is aware of everyone I have written and will continue to be. I don't want him blindsided if he gets a phone call from Washington from a General, Admiral or senior civil servant not knowing why they are calling him.
I implied nothing of the sort! Simply stating the words classified material is not (according to regulation) the revealing of classified material. That phrase "classified material" is used widely even on the evening news. By merely stating I had received an e-mail from SFOR CEO Mark Kay that had a standard corporate confidentiality notice at the bottom of the e-mail (as many posters have in answer to their concerns) was not breaking that trust. I did not reveal the contents of that e-mail but simply referred you to the original source, Mr. Kay to answer your questions directly.
New POTUS address after 1/20/17 is as follows:
President Donald Trump
The White House
1600 Pennsylvania Ave. NW
Washington, DC
20500
Every letter about the SFOR solution to our military's mobile device COMSEC problem counts! Support our Troops, please consider writing their new Commander In Chief after 1/20/17. Thank you.
A senior Congressional staffer begs to differ with you. What I was told was that constituent letters carry more weight than e-mails or phone calls to the WH. Some staffer actually tracks the numbers as to views on various subjects & reports them to POTUS so he will have additional input as to what may me a current concern of the American public. Simply, every letter counts!
IF the WH started to receive several letters about the SFOR solution to the military mobile device problem BEFORE President Trump outlines his cyber defense policy (90 days after taking office) it might noticed by at least Mr. Bossert the Presidential advisor for homeland security, counter-terrorism and CYBERSECURITY.
Funny, that's not what happened when I wrote President Obama. Within a week my letter went from the West Wing to the DOD/CIO's office. His policy guy called me and then arranged with Mark Kay
a presentation on the Mobile Trust solution to the military mobile device COMSEC problem by ACS. You can call Mark Kay to verify this. DON'T underestimate the power of a sincere, well written letter on behalf of the troops and National Security.
President-Elect Trump just announced "a plan to counter cyber attacks within 90 days of taking office" according to the PBS NBR show I'm watching. You know, if there was a flurry of letters to him as soon as he takes office 1/20/17 informing him of the SFOR solution to the military mobile device COMSEC problem it just might make a difference. Please consider writing him in support of the troops. Thank you!
You're right, 50:50 odds. However, I believe they are building in our favor. I acknowledge you don't and believe it to still be an even bet. Mesdames et Messieurs place your bets. I'm betting on SFOR's Mr. Wolf!
I'm in perfect agreement with you!
This makes no sense to me! They are putting in their JV player against one of the best hired legal IP gunslingers out there, Blank Rome's Mr. Wolf? Wolf will tear 'em up IMHO.
Grab your SFOR surfboards! "I also believe 2017 will be remembered as the year when cybersecurity analytics and operations encountered a wave of UNPRECEDENTED SCALE" (caps mine).
IF Jon's right, SURFS UP!
Nope! SFOR closed GREEN today AND for the week! Let's figure: Up 7% Tues., Up 20% Wed., Down 11% Thurs. and Up another 6% Friday.
By my calculations SFOR was up 22% for the week, not bad IMHO. Please correct me if I'm wrong. Thanks & have a great weekend.
Long & Strong SFOR!
AP Article Today "U.S. Tanks Roll Into Germany." They are enroute to Eastern Europe to bolster NATO's deterrent against possible Russian aggression. EUCOM Lt/Gen Ben Hodges called the deployment the "embodiment of US commitment to deterring aggression and defending our European allies and partners" This is the same General who stated this June that "Neither (unclassified) radio communications nor e-mail are secure" and "I assume everything I write on my Blackberry is being monitored" General Hodges is getting the armor troops & air assets he needs now. He and his troops still lack defensive software like SFOR's Mobile Trust on their issue I-Phones! Let's help get them that this year by contacting our Government officials and informing them of the SFOR solution to the military mobile device COMSEC problem.
Thank you for checking the veracity of those communications and
vouching for them. Also, thank you for covering my back earlier today while I out was mailing my latest letter to U.S. Senator
Coats, President-Elect Trump's nominee for Director of National Intelligence!
However a green week! Tues. up 7% Wed. up 20% Thurs. down 11% Fri. as of 2PM EST up 2%. Let's see how green the pps is at the closing bell O.K.?
You're right of course. Right now SFOR is a catalyst driven stock. Once one of the 8 catalysts elaborated on by ZPaul in the sticky note comes into play the pps should nicely move out of this channel IMHO.
Mr. Kay will talk to ANY investor interested in verifying my efforts to break the ice at the Pentagon for SFOR and get a foot in the door for ACS to present to the DOD/CIO. He also told me he will show ANY investor the originals responses (ZPaul kindly just reposted) so they can clearly see the WH watermark and know they are not forgeries. On Mark Kay's request I mailed him the originals for his files.
Contact U.S. Senator Coats, President-Elect Trump's nominee for Director of National Intelligence at: Presidential Transition Team
One Trump Tower 725 Fifth Ave New York, NY 10022 if you feel the same as I do. America's best deserve the best defensive software on their issue I-Phones SFOR's Mobile Trust, version 3.
Thanks but I am not an important person. I'm just a vet trying to help out his old outfit (EUCOM) and kin who are in harms way. I also believe the US Constitution when it guarantees the right of a citizen "To petition the Government for a redress of grievances" So I dare to write the important people to support the troops by getting them what they need for cyber defense. You can to!
Dear Senator Coats,
Congratulations on your nomination by President Elect Trump to be his Director of National Intelligence.
I’m writing to you at the urging of my Congressman Poliquin’s senior staffer Tim Gallant, a retired USN CPO.
As a retired military intelligence officer I was alarmed when I read EUCOM Lt/Gen Ben Hodges AFN interview in Poland during NATO’s FX Anaconda in June. In it he stated, “Neither (unclassified) radio communications nor email are secure” and “I assume everything I write on my BlackBerry is being monitored.” I believe he’s absolutely right! I’ve written letters to current government officials and received courteous replies. However, no defensive software was provided our troops due to the Congressional budget impasse. Being hand carried now & via Priority Mail to One Trump Tower.
He sat for General Clapper's briefing on Russian hacking just yesterday! Vets & the active duty helped elect him. A couple days ago he appointed Bossert an advisor whose purview includes cyber security. He will bring the new POTUS to speed on the threat posed to our military by the COMSEC chink in it's armor and other threats. Geez, can we wait for the man's first 100 days in office before saying he will not provide the troops the defensive software they need?
What I got from SFOR has a Confidentiality Notice prominently printed at the end of the page. For my military career I held a security clearance. I never violated that trust revealing any classified material. I will not violate this trust either! Get it from the horses mouth. Call our CEO Mark Kay directly. He expressed his appreciation of my raising product awareness with the military and his willingness to talk to investors about it.
As far as DD linking SFOR to ACS being able to get it's foot in the door at DOD please call Mark Kay directly. He is in receipt of my original replies and told me he would talk to investors about my Pentagon involvement without identifying info being released. So, get it right from the horses mouth since Mark communicated directly with the DOD/CIO's office. Then please post here what you re told. Thank you.
Thank you for that correction! Please add quotation marks starting at the word This and ending at the word Administration.
The rest of that post was my opinion President Trump will ensure out troops get what they need on their mobile devices. I believe he will do so in his first 100 days in office.
Pete Hoekstra (R) Former House Intelligence Chairman on CNN's the Situation Room with Wolf Blitzer beat him to it saying " This is where President Obama absolutely failed, he has not made cyber security of our Government Institutions a priority of his Administration" I believe the tide will turn 1/20/17 and our troops will get SFOR's Mobile Trust or something better on those soon to be issued I-Phones.
Trump picks U.S. Senator Coats as Director of National Intelligence. Looks like I'll be writing another letter quoting Lt/Gen Ben Hodges concerns that "e-mails are insecure" and "My Blackberry is being monitored" and the SFOR solution to address those concerns, Mobile Trust version 3. This can help deny hostile intelligence services the intelligence bonanza they would get from all those new issue military I-Phones that do not have defensive software. Long & Strong SFOR!
Good analysis of the recent movement north.
This good DD should be stickied!
Agree. "10-Q will be telling" and "Quarter 1 and 2 will be pivotal determination" and "may be more contracts or settlements"
SFOR is a high risk, high potential investment. I found the low pps back in Feb '16 more than attractive enough to justify it being a speculative investment. At the conclusion of last year that was up 123%. I can't complain! Consequently, I have patient capital invested here for the long term. I can wait for those quarterly reports because I know what I own. However, I realize an investment in SFOR may not meet some peoples timeline or risk tolerance.
Good explanation and a reasonable forecast.
"I do think there's potential. Time will tell" I am in perfect agreement with that statement! Let's be honest. Not one of us knows for sure until the 10-K year-end annual report figures are publically released. If SFOR does as they did last year, getting a 15 day extension, that is April 17th. Agreed?
Then and ONLY then will we have the empirical evidence to determine the true potential of an investment in SFOR. Sound reasonable?
