Even in the best scenario, a successful lawsuit, is likely to take years to complete through the process of evidence discovery, a trial, and then a verdict.
Do not forget that someone has to provide the attorneys with payment for their services when DNA management does not seem to have enough financial resources to pay for enough advertising to make their products move off of store shelves in sufficient quantities to bring the company to profitability.
So, when there is no money for advertising its products, where is it going to get the money to pay for attorneys?
"Big ole $1 win for "fraud" "
"On the Contrary, making sh1t up >>>VALUE DESTRUCTION"
"...it always seems it's only the same few folks chattering amongst themselves about the same topic twisted it in every single way possible, the only wake up the next day and do the same stuff over and over and over again..."
"...i thought there was another trial in the wings."
"PPJ Enterprise plans to seek a new trial following the verdict in its collection lawsuit against a Santa Clarita-based physician and former company board member."
"No honest CEO gags the TR unless they are doing something scuperlous."
Make no mistake. If PPJE does another reverse split, there WILL be people who are new to PPJE who will get suckered into believing whatever hype Basu publicizes. There are plenty of other OTC Pinks that have done many more than TWO reverse splits, and those are still freely traded.
Sure, maybe no one reading this today would buy PPJE again, but there are more new bagholders-to-be who enter penny stock trading every day. So, from their point of view, PPJ and Basu would not lose anything from another reverse split, and they would gain alot of space in which more dilution could occur.
As you said, timing is everything. Earlier this year, I bought a nice sized batch of 4's and sold them for between 13 and 16. This time, I grabbed more 4's, and I'll be lucky to get 3 for them because I am not holding this stock to wait around for it to go up again as a sitting duck for that next reverse split.
"NEWS: Management thanks all buyers at these levels for your continued support to keep the lights on but one more day. Your the best!"
So, 100 million shares of PPJE at $0.0003/share will cost you $30,000. If the PPS goes up, you are correct in that at these price levels, you make big profit very quickly.
You also lose your principal even more quickly if the PPS goes down. We won't even consider reverse splits as a 66% loss if the price goes to $0.0001 is tough enough to eat.
If PPJE had something in the pipeline that made me think the PPS might rise, I'd also think about buying those 3's. I don't see it.
If PPJE had good price movement, I'd also think about buying those 3's. Instead, the price stays largely stuck where it is while slowly trending downward DURING the trial. At this point, I have no obvious opportunity to sell my 4's at a profit before the eventual drop to in PPS to $0.0001 followed by a R/S.
I won't even talk about the shares that I held from before the trial with an average PPS of $0.0016. I expected the PPS to jump to at least $0.002x, and maybe $0.005x before the trial began just as it had done every other time that the next trial date got close. Instead, the PPS sat still, and even trended downward. So, what had appeared pre-trial to be almost guaranteed money in the bank will almost certainly end up being a colossal loss for all involved.
I hope that things work out well for you with your shares of PPJE. However, I've seen this downward trend on PPS enough elsewhere on companies that show no verifiable signs of anything good in the future such that I am not interested in buying myself into an even deeper hole.
"I just wonder, what do you think you're doing here? What's your angle?"
"Long term investing is almost never a good idea with penny stocks. Just imagine how much you'd have lost if you'd bought PPJE in 2005."
My deal is that I'm not going to peddle someone's else B.S. just because they typed it up as a PR when any logical, sane person can plainly see that it is B.S.
If a person has a history of doing what they say they will do, I will be willing to cut them some slack. Chandana Basu, like most CEOs of corporations whose stock trades as an OTC Pink, has no such history.
If the information in the PR has a reasonable chance at being true, I will be willing to cut them some slack. It is not reasonable to assert a reduction in O/S when the CEO gags the transfer agent at the same time that the PR is issued so that shareholders cannot verify the good news.
If the information in the PR has a reasonable chance at being true, I will be willing to cut them some slack. It is not reasonable to believe another set of promises about incentive shares and dividend shares when everyone can see the same exact promises unkept from the PRs issued last May. As Janice has pointed out, it may be very difficult to figure out how to retroactively issue incentive shares to long term shareholders, but it is NOT that hard to issue dividend shares to current shareholders. It is done by other companies quite frequently, and they actually get it done instead of waiting a number of months so they can promise again.
I want you to note that I praised Basu for going to that conference in San Antonio because it was a way for PPJ to do some marketing AND it was a piece of verifiable news for shareholders. Strangely, Basu only put the news on the company website, and did not bother to issue a PR. It seems like she thinks that PRs are only to shovel B.S. in an effort to boost PPS. So, if she isn't trying to boost PPS, she is not interested in PRs.
That strongly suggests that if you see a PR from PPJ, there is a good chance that it is solely about boosting PPS, not about whatever news was thrown in the PR at the wall to see if it would stick.
Give me some damn news that people can verify, or give me some news that will be executed in the very short term, and I'll quit complaining.
According to that one PR, we should ALL get dividend shares, and some of you should get incentive shares next week. I'll be very interested to see if $UPERMAN gets his incentive shares next week. I will also be VERY surprised if he does.
" There's a hearing today, but I don't know whether there'll be an immediate statement."
"the only person I think will get 10's of millions will be the owner/majority holder."
"Be careful with that strategy. The last RS came just weeks after basu said in a PR that she has no plans to RS...."
"At least an SEC suspension is a legitimate action but being ripped off repeatedly by R/S could not be a good feeling."
"It's a shame they didn't have good market penetration to compete with the big boys."
"Because most people are wondering HOW she could cancel one billion shares of common."
"You do not come off as someone who would be working for shorts.
I'd say you come off more as someone who sold recently and is looking to get in at a lower PPS."
"UNBELIEVABLE, all the stupid orchestrated assumptions on this site!
Indicates to me that they are the front people for orchestrated shorting."
"What's the RS synopsis for PPJE ?"
"I wonder if she's aware that she can't just cancel stock unilaterally, unless the stock in question is her own."
"She is making good of her promises.
That's how I read it."
"We wish to advise our many loyal shareholders that we are in process of issuing shares for those shareholders provided information needed to issue incentive stocks. The Company will not entertain incomplete information; transfer service will need the information in the attached form. Anyone holding PPJ stocks since prior to June 7, 2011 is eligible for incentives shares."
"PPJ Enterprise ... has announced it will offer incentive shares to its shareholders of record prior to October 26, 2011.
Shareholders will receive incentive shares based on their current number of shares, multiplied by the number of years they have held those shares. Shareholders who have sold a portion of their PPJE stock in the interim period may be eligible for incentive shares at a rate of 50 percent from R/S date to sale date.
The company is pleased to offer these incentives to long-term shareholders of post Reverse Split share; The Company is in process of confirming the release of these incentives shares with SEC Corporate finance dept Chief Counsel whether these certificates can be released as restricted or freely trading. Upon confirmation by SEC the Company will act immediately and release all shares.
Regarding dividends the Company is announcing 20 percent stock dividends for the year of 2014 to all shareholders and in process of filing necessary forms and documents required by FINRA to process the dividends annually and announce such news, then all dividends shall be posting automatically to all shareholders on record at the time.
The company is also announcing that those investors who became shareholders post R/S will receive 20 percent per year incentives of their current number of shares."
"Okay news is out, where are the analysts to dissect this apart?"
"PPJE, Show us something this week!!!"
"DNA ad on track at TMS would help, 50M shares gets it done."
"They are partners if they claim to be partners. End of story."
I pretty much agree with you completely, Joe... and I expect pretty much everything that you suggested will come to pass.
However, a mistrial doesn't mean that the trial is over... only delayed yet again.
The only interest I have at this point is if the PPS will break out a bit so I have any opportunity to recover what I've put into this. As I said weeks ago, after we did not see a pre-trial breakout in PPS this time around, the whole PPJE play became a coin flip. Either PPJ would win big... and so would shareholders, or else shareholders would essentially be wiped out. Well, PPJ only won small, and most of us are still... if things stand... going to get wiped out.
If PPJ gets to flip the coin one more time, maybe I don't leave all that cash on the table when I walk away. In theory, we should know something in another week or so.
So yesterday (Friday, 9/26), there was a status conference, presumably to finalize the trial results. The judge DID issue an order, but also continued the conference until NEXT Friday.
It will be interesting to see what this delay is all about.
It could be as simple as that the transfer to funds from Grewal to PPJ will occur next Friday.
It could also be that Judge White is giving PPJ's assertion that there was evidence tampering some traction, and she has delayed things to either go ponder what to do next, or else she wants someone to bring something back to the court next Friday which will support someone's position.
As I said, it will be interesting... and this may not be as over yet as we all think it is.
That would be the recreational and medicinal price for buds, not stems and stalks.
However, hemp stalks DO have value for their fibers in industrial operations.
Okay... if you think that the plant stalks of either the marijuana or hemp plants, where all of the industrial fiber value exists, are used by choice for their chemical content, go again and think that.
"HEMP=CBD's."
" the Decorticator was First disassembled and the
Move began early August 2014.
I suggest you begin by reading what $HEMP is actually doing
and timelines of their progresses."
"Okay, so for months HEMP, Inc. has been working on acquisition, dismantling and relocation of a decorticator..."
"Since PPJE and Hemp Inc. are partners..."
Correction of your correction...
"Okay, so for months HEMP, Inc. has been working on acquisition, dismantling and relocation of a decorticator from Europe to the United States" --- Ed
"First off it hasn't been Months..." --- $UPERMAN
"...and secondly it moved only about 150 miles from where its been used since WWII." --- $UPERMAN
"The company's newest venture is a result of its recent strategic consultant agreement with The Industrial Hemp and Medical Marijuana Consulting Company Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Hemp Inc. (OTC: HEMP). The partnership calls for PPJ Enterprise to conduct medical marijuana potency tests through an affiliate lab that can test for the compounds THC, THCA, CBD, CBG, CBN, CBDA, beta-Caryophyllene, Linalool, beta-Myrcene and D-Limonene."
"Huge $HEMP News Out

Company $PPJE is a Partner to HEMP Inc 100% owned Subsidiary."
"wow, do PPJE traders think it is a holiday?"
Has anyone noticed that there is no mention on the new PPJ website about the blood testing lab(s) that they claimed they were starting in the January-May timeframe?
No, I am NOT talking about the MMJ testing that they announced with Hemp. Inc, in June.
I am talking about the lab that PPJ claimed would be operational by early July.
I wrote all about that in mid-July, and still we wait:
