Savvy, JB, savvy!!
One whiff, sniff, etc. of silver, copper, or gold will "start to price in" that PM stuff...what timing!! Serendipity?
WOW!!
The caldera comes further into view...BULL-ISTIC...
GO LBSR!!!!
The greatest coiled spring in my 20+ year investing history, bar none!! GO LBSR!!!!
Would we go 'class action'??
Even in the case scenario of one third Pebble "minability", we should still value NAK @ 1/3 of $88/share (see prior post here on ihub for this 'take-out' price)...if we accept your estimate of 1/3 availability of inherent resources to underground access. LBSR is still WAY UNDERVALUED...
...it's really striking actually, we probably make our market cap from any one of our five/six properties ALONE. As HKipp noted, under $20M MC for us is ridiculousness cheap and attractive as a superb speculative penny-stock play.
How might Dr. Lyon's appointment affect permitting for uranium mining, new U.S. nuke power plants, etc.?
What do you make of that?
The part I loved the most...
Excellent FJH...follow the smart money!! That alone is so often an excellent short-cut to investing success...but ZTEM makes it so much better!!!!
DRILL--DRILL--DRILL!!!
KNOW WHAT YOU OWN --PROVE IT, POST IT
Carl Icahn, 101...
Agree very much with need for greater professionalism with updated website. It's disrespectful of many would-be suitors and investors.
The subtleties of an unsigned JV are probably beyond my rudimentry business acumen, so I'm neutral on that. Others here see great merit in it.
I think you're fearful interpretation of why we're getting SRK to work on Tombstone is misplaced...unless you believe JB is disingenuous in posing for the FB rock-in-hand picture.
Negative news would hurt, no doubt: unfavorable NAK ruling, measley resource targets at Tombstone, zilcho in ZTEM over BH...but let's not under-estimate JB's hound-dog-like mining prowess!!
GO LBSR!!
I don't know if selling ALL of LBSR would be consistent with JB's idea of success. Rather, I feel he might use one or two sales of certain properties (Silver Bell, BH, or Tombstone) to parlay the remaining ones (BCSP, N Pipes) into geologically/mining fame! Perhaps he's got some pride/hubris therein!?
Fair enough, what sort of "rude awakening" can you imagine?
We can think of our minerals "incubating" in the ground, as gold/silver prices have "matured"...serendipity! (but alas, time to hatch the golden/silvern eggs!!)
Interesting theory: to put all of LBSR up for sale...what about Silver Bell, north BCSP, BH...no estimates on those though, right?
Cash would help us unyoke and improve negotiating positions with all future JV's. Then again, we may need to buy gold/silver with that cash before it's inflated into nothingness...<smile>!
"One foot in the grave"....one foot ON THE TOMBSTONE!! Pretty soon no longer hobblin', rather RUNNIN'...nearly perfect timing for Tombstone with silver/gold soaring!! I suppose the caption change on the JB/FB rock picture is the best PR we can expect until drills go into the dirt. JV's won't happen 'til assays assure those who we court.
Hear, hear!! You guys are GREAT...thanks for your help getting to know/understand this LBSR. I really hope we get to meet in celebration!!
Right...that's the purview of the board shrink. The only shocking thing here is how lucky we are to own and add shares here for incredible personal enrichment.
Sharp eye, S4, sharp eye...STRONG BUY!!
PS: my psych consultations are not for free (yet!)
:)
Thanks for sharing. I've adopted a middle-ground strategy of maintaining an untraded (and larger) position, and a tradable (smaller) one.
Why are you so anxious to sell (all?) your shares??
Why would you own shares here, if you truly believe the share price will plunge to .01??
SGR, would you mind sharing: did you sell any shares from the run-up (or the descent since)?
The pattern is clear... This seems like a change of attitude at the company (JB, Tracey, Liang/Othon, BOD?), turning more informative. Why do you think?
Yes! Quite impressive...no news that I can see...what's up??
I'm adding to LBSR here near the end of the day...NAK is our proxy!
Pretty strong argument for believing NIV over MB...will you hold or even add with resumption of trading??
"That's what the rule of law is, that's what industry should be able to count on."
This has been KY's emphasis as we know...
Chart is very bullish now...as S4 would say, "she's leaving the station...all aboard!"
Many of us here believe LBSR has that potential: the DD on this board is outstanding and the moderator most helpful. Good luck!
My simple(ton? --NOT) reasoning: NAK has GLOBAL attention. LBSR is on their algorithm in plain sight...any fund manager about to plunk down MILLIONS into NAK will do some straightforward DD. So, I stick to my claim.
From VP's comment on Yahoo Finance message board:
"FWIW, the Tombstone claims provoke curiosity in that LBSR only has 33 federal lode claims. This amounts to little more than 660 acres. Most porphyry copper projects cover thousands of acres.
So, why are LBSR's Walnut Creek/Tombstone claims so lacking in acres by comparison to the typical?
Just guessing, but here are a couple of thoughts.
1) Surrounding lands are already held by others, in which case LBSR may eventually own part of the deposit, or
2) This is a concentrated, very high grade, base & precious metals deposit that is epithermally associated with a nearby porphyry, meaning thousands of acres are not required for a major mining operation.
I will hope news shows the #2 speculation to be correct. We will know within the next few months.
At any rate, SRK would not be working as independent consultants here if this were not something special. They don't take contracts just to play in the dirt.
...all in my opinion and for what it's worth.
VP in AZ"
WE ALREADY ARE ON THE RADAR SCREEN OF WALLSTREET...THEY CONNECT THE DOTS PRETTY WELL...
Yes...was nice validation (up ~ %6 Friday) and coup for the week of February 4th-8th, 2011 as a LBSR shareholder. Very strong technical break-out for GLD this week. Probably marks the beginning of a Phoenix-like ascent (don't get jeolous Tuscon!) for LBSR...
Do it, LTDM!!
Go LBSR!!
You're very savvy...I've decided on a slightly simpler strategy to have a core IRA account (not traded) and about 30% in a trading account. BTW, I've joined the 1M share club and couldn't be happier (and sleeping great, for a psychiatrist/investor...<smile>)
It was stated in the PR's that we can look for other JV's, but that NAK/HDI has right of first refusal...IT IS ABSOLUTELY IN OUR (LBSRers) BEST INTEREST TO KEEP SCOUTING...money well spent...but drilling is still highest priority and supercharges the emissary!!
Not to distract JB from his main mission of putting drillbits into the ground, but retribution for the naked shorting, if true, needs pursuing by LBSR the company...btw, I remember exactly what you are saying..."the Frankfurt effect"...was devastating to us IMO!
Marketplace (radio version) yesterday featured why Home Depot is not doing so well in China (went from 12 stores to seven over last few years!)...they interviewed a Chinese man who said he didn't shop there because "there aren't any American products! <he was looking for something cache/chic perhaps>"
Go LBSR!!
