Well, that isn't the only answer you should be seeking. You should be wondering why unbeknownst to the Schaefer brothers, Spiketv was not paid the money they were owed until last week....
I asked her if she emailed another poster to get him/her to not sell her shares of stock. You bet I did....now what?
Here ya go Gerlac:

OK everyone let me give a recap of my call with Dave Mehalic. We talked for about 30-35 minutes:
1- the authorized amount of shares is 450million, 154 million are outstanding shares and about 50 million are in the float, but that might go to 75 or 80 million in the near future
2- The rerun was because editing was not done on time. The reason for this was a difference of opinion about the episode between the director/producer and the company.
3- Due to the loss of the episode, the company does hope to extend the series out an extra week. The time slot is indeed paid for as if it was an infomercial, and because the company didn't wait to air the show a few more months, they do not reap much revenue from the commercials.
4- The company does get some revenue, but nothing spectacular. They do receive some money for the segment sponsors. They do make some on the merchandise.
5- There is interest from other networks to pick up the show. These are most likely other cable channels, but until that idea is killed, signing a second season with Spike is not in the show's best interest.
6- The company is working with an investing banker to raise financing. Financing is the key to making this show and company get back on its feet. Last week there was an investor who was quite interested in getting involved, but after looking up the forums such as this, all the bashing killed his interest. In essence the negativity HERE is hurting us just as much as the concerns in management.
7- There have been suggestions of changing this company over from just one reality show to more of a production company with many shows under its wing. This helps diversify the company and gives it more legs to stand on. This idea obviously will only work if financing becomes available. There are a lot of good ideas on paper with the Schaeffers. They are looking into maybe partnering up with a production company that has experience and the know how to make reality shows the right way. Again these are ideas, and if reality racing can come up with a company willing to partner up, it may be easier to get the proper financing.
8- There were millions of shares whose restrictions were lifted by investors and vendors. This has definitely added to the decline of the stock price. Will the show rise up quickly, probably not soon. The company has the right ideas in place. They had funding in place, but they spent it the wrong way plain and simple. The idea now is to fix the mistakes and revive the company, but it will take some time. Steps in the right direction are being taken. Shareholders have to realize this and have patience. And the Schaeffers have shares that are restricted under Rulr144, so they can only sell 1% of outstanding shares every 90 days.
9- Dave Mehalic is a very straighforward guy. He has his own production company out in Hollywood and he was hired to help fix the problems. He did not get any shares, and he is being paid a lot less than his usual fees month by month. He knew Pat before and with that understanding is giving the company time to pay his monthly fees as he has not been paid for this month yet. He sees the company as having a good idea, but just need to be tweaked the right way here on out. He answers all questions with a non marketing view, a very no Bullsh*t approach. I asked him a lot of things and offered a lot of suggestions.
10- There should be a shareholder meeting, but a date has yet to be determined.
I may have missed some things we talked about, but if I remember I will post it.
IN CLOSING, people who are negative in this stock should get out. The share price will probably drop more and people will bitch more. But, if you get out now, then you won't have to bash and we may not lose another possible investor. IF YOU CAN'T HANDLE MORE OF A LOSS, OR YOU CAN'T WAIT IT OUT, GRAB THE MONEY OR VALUE YOU HAVE AND FIND A NEW PENNY TO GET INTO. I know a few around the current share price of RRGI that are doing real well. If you are long, stay in for the ride. I, for one, have close to 100,000 shares of this company at a lot higher price than most of you do. I am not gonna sell now because I think if things are realized sooner than later this company will come back around. And if financing is achieved, then look for me to double down on my position.......
my posts have never said anything about desert dog because I was not privy to that info, and I think I posted recently to that effect. I posted that I was not sent this infamous email and had never seen it. If this information was supposed to be kept a secret, then I'm POSITIVE Dave wouldn't have told me. He isn't a fool. The only reason I believe you have a problem with what I am posting is because it isn't great news.
Where was this concern when Matty posted about HIS conversation with Mehalick. Wasn't that private too? I'll look for it just in case you missed it...
According to Dave, this isn't insider information and neither is knowing about Desert Dog....if you think otherwise, or you think me posting it on the message board....add your complaint to the SEC...that's all I can tell you.
You know what, 50 bagger....if what I was told is indeed true...they SHOULD be fed up with their producer because he has definitely taken advantage of them.
How do you know it was said to me in confidence? I was not told to "keep it a secret". I asked questions, and was given answers. Dave Mehalick reads these boards. He knows what is being said and who is saying it. Just like "Desert Dog" was never released to the public, but somehow it made it to this board. He wasn't the first person to tell me about strife between Del Weston and the schaefers, Shark was, and I'm pretty sure you heard about it too. whoever asked about why there was a re-run was told editing problems...guess what? If they had asked why there were editing problems, they would have been told why...DEL Weston . So I think you are right Gerlac, I think there are lots of things going on that need looking in to....let's GIT ER DONE!!
what's so amazing about it? I have nothing to hide. I got my information from Dave Mehalick. Call him, I'm sure he'll tell you the same things he told me.
NOPE....mine remain pending. none have sold....
now try to sell what you just bought and see if that works...
they have hooked up with an investment banking firm to try to round up some moola....You never know though, it wouldn't surprise me one bit if they attempted another private placement offering, although I don't know who would go for it...but...who knows...
If it doesn't apply to you, then you shouldn't worry about it. Whoever it applies to knows it.
1. There millions more previously restricted shares that will become unrestricted.
2. Everything isn't merry between the production company and the schaefers.
3. the company doesn't have very much money right now...although they ARE trying to raise some.
It's interesting that when Dave Mehalick says something the longs deem positive, he is the best thing since sliced bread and his word is GOLD. When he is equally honest about the negatives...It can't POSSIBLY be true. I think right now he is the best thing RRGI has going for it. He is honest about the good, bad, and the ugly.
As long as it's within the TOU, we can post here.
I agree.....it is...
It's funny to sit back and watch you people adamantly tell me I am wrong, especially when I know that I am right.
I thought it was incorporated in some place like minnesota or somewhere..
If you are already hurting for cash, this could cause major problems....and in my opinion is wrong and unfair.
perhaps after being paid a certain sum of money, Del thinks he should have been paid more, and therefore refuses to complete the editing until he's paid additional money.
Perhaps Del didn't get paid what Del WANTED to get paid...
I actually was speaking in general terms, not specifically directed towards PNMS. Obviously someover-zealous person got the wrong idea. At any rate, I now understand what you are saying.
Once again, that post was in response to a poster who said he did not want a company, NOT PNMS, to admit to making mistakes. go back and re-read it...
Probably because you were not a part of the conversation, you really don't know what you are talkin about. Myself and another poster were talking about what types of companies we would rather deal with. The "lie" post you are referring to had absolutely nothing to do with PNMS. I understand that you think this is going to get you some brownie points with the company, as they read this board, but you are certainly barking up the wrong tree here.
First, you have totally misunderstood my post. Second, I have not lied about ANYTHING I have posted and have proof of everything that I say, including my conversations with Mike Terrell....ask him.
Perhaps I misunderstood your post, then, because I thought you were implying that the company should not admit mistakes...
Maybe that's how you would do business. I for one, respect a person's honesty. I would much rather have the truth be told, because at that point I know what I'm dealing with and can move forward from there. Lies, no matter how small, come back to bite you in the end. What's done in the dark WILL eventually make it to the light.
The price in the US will never equal the price on the exchange. MT sets the price and he will adjust it accordingly.
I would welcome 1000 people bashing the heck out of me to make the ONE person who has believed in me feel more secure about having that belief, but then again that's just me.
People can say anything they want...but what it all boils down to is that I just want the truth. If the exchange is broken and needs fixing, THEN JUST SAY SO. If for whatever reason the wires won't be sent next week, the week after, or a month from now, JUST SAY SO. People respect you more if you don't treat them like kool-aid drinkers...
Actually, no. My conversation with him occurred PRIOR to Hotstocks and I did not hear that wires were imminent. Perhaps something changed since my conversation with him. All I got was that it takes time for BUYERS to fund accounts on the exchange.
I don't know about anyone else, but I HAVE talked to MT.
DM has been very honest about the situation of this company, as I've been very honest with him on how I feel. 50bagger, you should talk to him. While i still think rrgi will go sub-penny with more massive selling to come, his honesty is refreshing.
I agree with you 100%. This is something that could have been huge, and yet look at the position it's in. They are turning people who once were believers into non-believers and the sad part is that I don't think they care one bit.
then that contact would be the one receiving all of the legal documents pertaining to the business. The foundation can't have that....
Flat,
According to DM, the selling is far, far from over....
actually, Deepblue, that is the EXACT reason they were unable to register the domains in German AND Australia at the time. There is nothing wrong with simply saying"we didn't meet the requirements for registration" and move on. Honesty goes a long way.
what is happening in the US market is not supposed to matter now that the PDRexchange is up and running....but, I guess it's not, is it...
there is nothing wrong with reading the board, IMO. It's a way to see what the shareholders are thinking. Theresa is the investor relations person, so she SHOULD try to find out if the shareholders are disgruntled.
Although I do not think a Mod will place this in the ibox, they are certainly welcome to do with it what they wish. You must understand that my frustrations are coming from the lack of knowledge about what is going on. I emailed Pedro, he never responded. If the company showed a little more respect towards its shareholders and at least said" we are working on the problems" people wouldn't get so frustrated. They don't realize the damage this silence is causing. People who were once very faithful believers in the company are starting to have doubts. And it's all because of the sudden lack of communication concerning this PDRexchange.
