I care very much about the past. I have been in this stock since 2000 and have been burned on several occasions by mis management and faulty execution of the basic business plan. We might have a chance this time because the new management teams seems to recognize that you need the sales and distribution channels in place to move the products before you fill the pipe with solid products for them to move. Hopefully the "build it and they will come" philosophy of the past is gone.
It is helpful to look to the past for mistakes and learn from them or we will be destined to live them again!!!!
It is the soothing thing about history that it does repeat itself.

I think we will see PRs for the last 2 sales/distribution reps next week with the product announcements the following week (W/O 9/24).
OK....I'll bite. WHY?!?!?
So much for "exclusive" licensing!
Shoot! It seemed like a decent offering. Not quite the "Automotive Tool" I was expecting but decent nonetheless.
The suspense continues.... Stay tuned!
You are right...It doesn't look like the STP has a bit holder at the base. Kinda funky place to put one.

3 Weeks left in September.
4 More sales/distributor affiliations to announce.
STP product announcement.
Should be fun!
You are right.... I had the wrong Marketing Solutions Group.
Marketing Solutions Group
http://www.msg-llc.com/
"The relationship with Evergreen Sales Group is part of Capstone Industries' efforts to establish distribution channels for the STP-branded products, which Capstone Industries expects to roll out in September 2007."
September starts in 4 DAYS!!!
Very little reaction indeed. But I would not expect all that much based on past alliance anouncements. I think they will string the sales rep PRs out until the product launch. The proof will be in the STP Tool product announcements and the shipping of samples to the gang of 8 within the next "3 to 4 weeks".
A strong STP product announcement next month will launch this puppy. The 200 MA will be obliterated.
Must be a relatively new outfit. But the list of existing clients was formidable.
"With 8 seasoned sales professionals covering the automotive, hardware and house wares distribution channels, Hawk West serves many of the country's top accounts, such as Meijer, CSK Auto, HWI, ACO Hardware, Discount Drug Mart, Summit Racing, Borders, Spartan Stores, Kroger and more. Some of the Manufacturers Hawk West represents are: Chevron/Texaco, Gabriel, Maremont Exhaust, Mattel, Phillips Auto Lighting, Purolator, Shop Vac, Turtle Wax."
Has anyone found anything about Mike Konkel or Hawk West Marketing? It seems strange that a marketing company has no web presence.
Not even yellow pages.....
Sorry, no Hawk West Marketing found in or nearby Miami, FL
Something is not right
ZZZZZZZZzzzzz
I agree with you Salve. The last CC was all about Damage Control and did little to provide sustenance for any kind of move up. This STP tool product better be a hit or we are all doomed. This upcoming Vegas show is like a double down after a split with all remaining chips on the table.
The good part is that Howie has a couple of automotive retail heavy hitters on the team making the calls instead of his wife's hunches.
May we all prosper in the upcoming months!
Vegas Baby Vegas!!
Dead calm before the Q2 storm.

....just gives me a chance to post this again.
The best thing to come out of CHDT since the spinner key chain.
Don't forget the gas masks! (remember in 2001?)
I guess our next contact with from the company will be in about 4 weeks when they announce the second quarter numbers. Booklight numbers will not likely cover all the cost involved with their high priced management team. Until then I fear that we drift.
Complete BS. What a waste of time.
Howard can't even keep his lies straight. I love the stutter when talking about the STP product announcement date....
October Firs.....Thirty First.
Happy Halloween!!!!!
Trick or Treat Howie.
What a crock!!! Check out the graphic on the website.

They have to be kidding me. Or mocking me. F-off Howard!!! What an A-hole!! I wonder where he is on vacation this time while Rome burns.
I suspect they are over there right now. Given next week for regrouping and recovery from jet lag.....we should hear something the week of the 23rd. I still think we are in store for a late July/early August media campaign about the trade mission and product announcements.
Time will tell. They need to do something to keep all these new investors happy. JMO
I guess all we know is this...
Capstone Signs Exclusive Agreement With The Armor All/STP Products Company To Offer a Line of STP(R) Branded Hardware and Automotive Tools
Wednesday April 25, 9:30 am ET
COOPER CITY, Fla., April 25 -- Capstone Industries, Inc. (Capstone), a wholly-owned subsidiary of China Direct Trading Corp. (OTC Bulletin Board: CHDT - News), announced today that it has signed an exclusive licensing agreement with The Armor All/STP Products Company (STP), a division of The Clorox Company (NYSE: CLX - News). Capstone is a leading manufacturer and distributor of specialty category products in the North American market. Holding several product and design patents and trademarks, Capstone will develop, distribute, market and sell a line of diverse hardware and automotive tools to retailers nationwide.
I wonder if Capstone needs Clorox approval on STP branded products they want to sell.
8.01 Change of Address for Principal Executive Officers

I think some MMs are probing low ball PPS. Price dropping on NO volume. Time for some news to pick things up.
Lots of things in the works.
1. STP Performance Tools Development
2. Simply Comfort Product development
3. Trade Mission to China
4. Vacation for Howie
Nice to see a decent web site at last. I want to meet the IR lady!

The MMs are having their fun again today. I have an order in at .02 and they are trading at .091. And look at the spread of bid ask. What a bunch of maroons.
I'm adding this morning. Getting ready for a mid July push.
We should start a pool to see what date the web site actually launches. I'll go with 7/10.
You are right Rushman. My issue is that follow-through is a problem here. I also think the website will give us an idea on what kind of image the corporation wishes to portray. Up to this point, all web presence attempts hace been bush league at best. Just curious as to the quality they want to put forward. Afterall, a portion of the revenue stream is all about image when you are trying to pass yourselves off as "Your partner in China."
Waiting for this website or any other significant comapany events is like the stairway scene in the church tower from Hitchcock's Vertigo.
July 1st and no new website. Typical.
