Andco, that is the question of all ages. My experience with a related company always left that curiosity. They enlisted "big names" from science, military, international business, etc. to add to their boards (directors, advisors, etc.) which seemed to give some sort of credibility to the company. There were years of this foolishness, as they'd come and go, even when a period of time in the management was proven to have been fraudulent via the SEC.

Obviously, there is some benefit for these "notables" to lend their names to these "nothing" companies. Sure they are given ridiculous amounts of stock..but that doesn't always translate to a lot of money..

Maybe it's their ego..but my guess is that they receive benefits we aren't aware of. (i.e. CASH)

(and yes, we supporters of the company would say : "Well, it's GOT to be good if "Blah-blah" came onboard! They certainly don't need the money..why would they risk their pristine reputation if this wasn't legit!")

Would that be the takeover rumors of DRNE?

The same LTAS that languished under WSGI for a couple of years UNDER THE SAME MANAGEMENT, while steadily decreasing in value to less than a penny??

The same LTAS that recently "sold" for $335 THOUSAND dollars, and 10 MILLION shares of DRNE (which has lost 70% of its value since then) ?

So..six months ago you could have bought it for 400 grand, and now, since it has a new ticker, it's worth MILLIONS!! ?

Hey bagels.. I don't mean to bash or be unkind to you. If you're invested in DRNE, I hope you make a fortune. I had the same hope in GTEL/GTE/SNSR/WSGI. They had the SAME story. SAME people. SAME product(s). And the stock went down. And down. And down. And it NEVER went back up again. Google search GTEL GTE SNSR WSGI..the string of never-met UAV promises goes back at least 9 years. They could just cut & paste the articles from 2006 as the one that came out yesterday. It's pretty sad.

I'm perplexed, and maybe you can help out on this one..

WSGI had a lot of historical baggage (debt/lawsuits/etc.) from previous fraudulent management. Couldn't let LTAS "fly" like it should.

So..they "sold" it to DAC. Who just recently changed their name from Macrosolve. Macrosolve apparently also has its share of bad history that has yet to be cleared up (Newegg, etc.).

Macrosolve was listed as a "patent troll". They tried to sue other companies for patent infringement, and had no experience or expertise in LTA technology.

Why then, would you back LTAS into this dirty shell, instead of forming your own (CLEAN- no debt or bad history) company for LTAS to fly, with the help of all of these billionaires and forthcoming contracts??

Oh, btw...speaking of WSGI..they're currently working on the ARGUS platform, a mid-high level UAV, higher atmosphere to the BIB and free-flying. Also their network of ground stations to facilitate superior satellite transmissions across the globe. (and they're trading at less than half a penny)
