Element 21 Golf Offers Revolutionary Scandium Irons -- Test Scandium Technology for $49.95
09:00 a.m. 08/21/2007 Provided By Market Wire
TORONTO, Aug 21, 2007 (MARKET WIRE via COMTEX) -- Element 21 Golf Company ("e21") (EGLF) (FRANKFURT: BJQ), the manufacturer of advanced Scandium Alloy golf and fishing equipment, is pleased to report that its revolutionary Emc2 irons can be tested by the consumer for $49.95.
Golf Digest has named Element 21 Scandium Irons as "Revolutionary." On tour, Element 21 Scandium's ability to redirect the damaging vibrations away from the players' hands has been independently confirmed in an interview with the world's number 7 player (Element 21 press release, August 9, 2007). Another tour player, who switched to Element 21 iron shafts, moved from being 67th in GIR to #1 in GIR on the PGA Tour (Element 21 press release, May 7, 2007). The same PGA player scored his first PGA Tour "hole-in-one" with a 6 iron from a distance of 181 yards.
To allow consumers to test this revolutionary technology, Element 21 Scandium 6 iron is available at an introductory price of only $49.95 plus shipping and handling. The $49.95 price tag comes with money back guarantee, or can be used towards a purchase of the complete Emc2 iron set. Information of this limited time offer is available on the Element 21 Golf website www.e21golf.com .
About e21's Emc2 Irons:
The Emc2 two-piece construction irons (2-LW) are progressively offset to maximize trajectory and are considered the most accurate irons in golf. The wide sole makes it easy to get proper launch angles from all lies and the thermoplastic elastomer backing provides an increased Moment of Inertia (MOI) for greater accuracy on off-center hits. Emc2 iron heads are made with an ultra high strength steel face plate for increased ball speed while saving weight for optimizing Center of Gravity (CG). The irons feature e21's Eagle One Scandium alloy shafts. Variable wall thickness and the alloy's high tensile strength results in improved accuracy and distance and a vibration dampening system called ShockBlok(TM) with 270% better shock attenuation than steel shafts that protects golfers' bodies, bones and joints.
E21 in new Golf Digest (Sept. 2007)
On pages 209-210, there is a nice little story about new irons and E21 is one of 4 mentioned that have taking leaps in design. They talked with Mark Myrhum about MOI. At the end it mentions the website and price for the irons.
A nice picture of the 6 iron head is also there with 3 other companies including Ping.
I heard $499 but I did not get that from the company so I dont know how true it is.
It says he will this week at the championship.

NEW SHAFTS FOR SINGH: Vijay Singh is experimenting with new iron shafts. Bridgestone was the first event where he played with the new Scandium shafts.
"They're better than I thought," Singh said. "They're a little hard to get adjusted to. But they're good. I like them."
Singh posted four over-par rounds to finish T56 at 15-over 295.
Singh said that he experiences less vibration - and, therefore, less strain -- in his elbows when he hits the new shafts. He's suffered from an ongoing elbow injury, so the new shafts help keep that from flaring up.
"My shots (were) bent on the hosel so I was kind of concerned about that," he said. "I started using a remake of my hump shafts and amazingly they had a big dent in every one of my irons last week. They took them out this week and put in new ones. And this Scandium guy came along and said 'Why don't you try this shaft?' And I said, 'Well, they feel OK.'"
Singh said that he was hitting his irons well with the new shafts and will likely use them in this week's PGA Championship.
Vijay Singh used our shafts last week!!!
Somebody wanted 100k shares near the close and they got them cheap.
Lucky bastard will be happy this time next year.
Millions of viewers are expected to tune into this historic Major Championship as it is televised around the world, including on the BBC in the UK, network television in the USA and on TV Asahi in Japan. In North America the tournament will air August 2 and 3 on TNT 10:00-12:00 AM EDT, on August 4 on ABC from 1:30-3:00 PM EDT, and on August 5 on ABC at 1:00-3:00 PM EDT.

USGA Adds e21 Scandium Driver to Its Conforming List
12:38 p.m. 06/25/2007 Provided By Market Wire
TORONTO, Jun 25, 2007 (MARKET WIRE via COMTEX) -- Element 21 Golf Company ("e21") (EGLF) (FRANKFURT: BJQ), the manufacturer of advanced Scandium Alloy golf equipment, announced today that the USGA has added the e21 Scandium driver to its list of the drivers that conform to the rules of golf.
After extensive testing of e21 scandium drivers (R&D and production units), the USGA has published that Scandium drivers do conform to the rules of golf ( http://www.usga.org/equipment/conforming_golf_club/conforming_golf_club_results.asp ). The USGA testing was particularly thorough, in light of the current golf industry turmoil ( http://thesandtrap.com/equipment/clubs/another_driver_recall_this_time_its_callaway ) over titanium driver recalls. Certain models of Callaway, Nike, Cobra, and Cleveland Drivers were ruled nonconforming ( http://golf.about.com/b/a/258101.htm ).
EMC2 Scandium driver has outperformed both the non-conforming and conforming drivers in distance and accuracy. The attached bar chart provides a summary of the independent test result on Scandium vs. Titanium. Scandium Driver has outperformed Titanium drivers by as much as 29 yards in distance and 338% in accuracy.
Additionally, the patent-pending louvered crown feature of the EMC2 driver complements Scandium Face technology by stiffening the crown and focusing energy transfer along the centre line. The scandium face and louvered crown in the EMC2 driver has created the most efficient energy transfer in the industry.
Sweet news, I hope the street likes it. em
This board is dead, I guess its not suprising considering the stock is also. A shake up is needed and I think its coming.

e21 Golf Secures $2.4 M Private Equity Financing
Tuesday June 19, 11:00 am ET
TORONTO--(MARKET WIRE)--Jun 19, 2007 -- Element 21 Golf Company ("e21") (OTC BB:EGLF.OB - News) (Frankfurt:BJQ.F - News), the manufacturer of advanced Scandium Alloy golf equipment, announced today that it has completed a $2.4 million private equity funding. One private equity funding is for $2 million, which has been received from the current Preferred B shareholders. The $400,600 private equity funding was received from other individuals and entities.
With regard to the $2 million dollar private equity funding, e21 issued 117,648 shares of its Series B Convertible Preferred Stock at a per share price of $17.00 and warrants to purchase an aggregate of 11,764,800 shares of e21's Common Stock to two private investors in exchange for a $2 million investment in the Company. Each share of Series B Convertible Preferred Stock is initially convertible into 100 shares of e21's Common Stock, resulting in a Common Stock price per share to the investors of $0.17. Each investor received one warrant at the closing, to purchase 5,882,400 shares of e21's Common Stock at an exercise price of $0.19 per share, expiring June 11, 2008. For the additional $400,600 investment, e21 issued 2,356,471 shares of e21 Common Stock at $0.17 price per share and one warrant for each share of Common Stock issued, with a warrant price set at $0.19. The warrants are exercisable for one year.
Dr. Nataliya Hearn, e21 CEO, commented that this funding will be used to increase recognition of e21 Scandium Metal with golfing consumer, as e21 has already succeeded in having Scandium recognized by the manufacturers, OEMs and key retailers.
Dr. Hearn further said, "This additional influx of funds from current and new investment groups indicates a real vote of confidence in e21 product, business strategy, management and successes over the last year. We launched a golf ball into space, we build up inventory, opened over 250 accounts and began selling the best product the golf industry has ever seen. Our growing pains bear remarkable similarities with the introduction of Titanium in the 1990s. e21 Scandium technology and business platforms have shown quantitative advantages over Titanium. The fact that the investors are coming in at above market price speaks loud and clear of e21 short and long term potential. e21 team has commitment to succeed."
About Element 21 Golf Company:
Element 21 Golf Company is a Delaware company trading on the OTCBB and the Frankfurt Stock Exchange (FWB) with offices in New Jersey, USA and Toronto, Canada. e21 holds the exclusive right to manufacture golf products using it's proprietary e21 Scandium Metal Alloy. Simply put, e21 clubs are using next-generation technology that delivers marked improvements in distance, consistency, accuracy and feel over any of the most popular products in the $5.5 billion U.S. golf equipment marketplace. Based on this superior performance, a number of high profile golf professionals have switched to or have begun testing e21's Eagle One shafts in recent months.
e21 Scandium Metal Alloy is the secret behind this advanced performance. Originally developed for advanced aeronautics in jet fighters such as the MiG, it is 55% lighter and offers a 25% greater strength-to-weight advantage over Titanium alloys, the current standard in the golf equipment industry. e21 Scandium Metal Alloys allows greater freedom to move more weight to the perimeter of the club face in woods and hybrids than any other metal, resulting in a significantly larger sweet spot than any other club head. Additionally, e21 Scandium Metal Alloy shafts are almost perfectly symmetrical at 99.5-99.9%, compared to 60-78% typical in graphite shafts and 80-85% for steel.

Fan, the sent samples of the driver and it conformed. That gave them the OK to go ahead with production (that was stated by Hearn in a recent PR, posted on RB).
Now they have to submit a driver from production to make sure that it still conforms, from what I have been told (by people in the biz not E21) this is the routine. Once you have samples approved, its basically approved. Unless you change something during production, its only a formality to get the production one approved.
Hope it helps, and yes I would like to see some sales also.
10Q filing shows an increase in sales, looks like we are heading in the right direction.
Quick, what about the part of them exploeing uses of scandium outside golf.
I was not sure what she was talking about in the "four weeks" time frame, I need to listen again to find out.
Overall a good interview, she is intelligent
Slo, its simple, Eagle One shafts are straighter and longer, thus the eagle and fly over, lol.
Lehman is rumored to be using them also. It would explain the GIR stats.
Yes it is Cook, he has been pointed out in several PRs in the past. I would love to see an interview with him where he gives the company their due credit.
Or it could be Cook which we know is using.
Looking at the stats, I think it may be Kenny Perry. Anyone else have anyone who fits the profile better?
They called out Callaway by name, that has to say something about the new driver.
Industry Driver Recalls Fuel e21 Scandium Driver Advantages
Friday May 4, 8:00 am ET
TORONTO--(MARKET WIRE)--May 4, 2007 -- Element 21 Golf Company ("e21") (OTC BB:EGLF.OB - News) (Frankfurt:BJQ.F - News), the manufacturer of advanced Scandium Alloy golf equipment, announced today that in recently conducted independent driver testing by Golf Laboratories in San Diego (www.golflabs.com), their new EMC2 Scandium Driver has outperformed Callaway's FT-5 driver in distance by 29 yards and accuracy by 338%.
The golf industry has been using titanium in its drivers since the introduction of the Big Bertha by Callaway in the early 1990s. The Titanium revolution launched Callaway from a small golf company to a golfing giant. Scandium is 25% stronger and lighter than Titanium, allowing scandium to have a significantly better trampoline effect that Titanium, without surpassing the COR limits set by the USGA. Moreover, Scandium weight advantage over Titanium allows perimeter weight distribution that has not been possible to-date.
The recent recall of the Callaway's Bertha 460 http://thesandtrap.com/equipment/clubs/another_driver_recall_this_time_its_callaway just demonstrates the limits that the industry has reached with the Titanium technology. "If you buy a Titanium driver you are buying technology that has reached its performance limit and can only compete on price point. e21 challenges every golfer to try Scandium advantages in drivers, hybrids and irons," said President and CEO, Dr. Nataliya Hearn.
e21's Scandium technology is protected by numerous patents, allowing e21 to introduce its Scandium products not only through the retailers, but OEMs and manufacturers through licensing opportunities. Such vertically integrated technology platform is the first of its kind in the golf industry.
The President and CEO Dr. Nataliya Hearn will discuss this phenomenal Scandium technology on the Market News First Radio (www.mn1.com) today at 4pm EDT.
Based on past price points hit in regards to news. This is a penny stock, there will be no formula of shares/earnings to find a prediction. I think if the sales are going as well as the PRs are suggesting, the PPS will rise fast and people sitting on the sidelines will jump in with both feet.
JMHO of course
