Stan:NWD appears to have bottomed. book value is around.62 and they are a real company. When, and if, it runs, it can run fast...just a gamble on my part.
Stan: mgam will have earnings out this week and they most likely wont be good; however, I know that another company is thinking about buying them out(cant tell ya more) so i have just bought some. No guarantee that it will get done but it is in the works presently. On nwd, A good friend of mine has been buying it this last few weeks and got me into it recently. I have nothing else to add on it. If and when retail picks up in the USA, Cwtr will be a rebound play.
Stan: I took more time to look at the stocks you posted and I like BSPM and CJJD. If only we knew how accurate the Chinese figures were!!!!!!!!
Stan: good to see your post. NTST went private at around 16...should have been in the 20s except for a private deal buyout. I like CSKI. Man, I was following yrcw with an intent to buy but i dont think i will after todays action. Check out caah and nwd. Tough to make a buck today.
I think one time you might have posted a pic of the boat or lake or something or other...but lets see it again.
do you watch high stakes poker on tv? some real tough players there like Ivey.
Gary, How has the fishin been this year....you used to give us an occasional report. I went to Manitoba in June and it was 85 degrees, low water and slow fishing. I have not really made any money this year in the market as my timing and gut feelings on stocks have been pretty lousy....I say bring back the 1990s when everything i touched seemed to be gold....tough market and real estate is double dead in LV...any pick up of houses for you in your area??????
4 or 5 years ago was this drilled to be an oil well but is now a gas well? Does any profit go to investors who financed the well first??????? TIA and btw, hello to the old timers here.
Hi Stan and Gary. Ltus chart is looking good....also heard that a company is looking hard at buying out mgam....keep an eye on it although earnings are out in a few days and may not be too hot....have made some money in F.
Dogg...tell them they are barred by laches and should have rais ed concern much earlier when you posted notice.
Hi Guys....things very slow in Vegas....gary, only houses moving are under 200 and a lot of bank foreclosures...unemployment real bad too and price of gasolone creeping up....this is going to be a slow rebound here...hope it starts soon...doggie...what type of yard projects you got goin??
Here is hot: watg and txic and caas and vit...love em.
Since real estate is SLOW, boss should change his company name to Ambien Sales and Rentals.
one post
time to us is only lent....tis to late to spare when all is spent.1826
You have done well pilgrim.
Will someone please bring back the good old days.....lets see, "big money"...what is that again....i hardly remember...but i think it was fun. It is all Stan's fault...he left for good and took his insight with him!!
What yu do in LV, stays in LV. Have you seen the movie "hangover"?
Hi guys! Did i ever tell you that Zaff and I had lunch one day in LV...Cool guy...wish i was that young. Gary, real estate is terrible here....you getting any upticks?
SDGL is breaking out today: .02; profitable, no dilution, going into china strong, no debt, looking for news shortly.
SDGL breaking out...profitable, no dilution, asian play.
Nomadix used a shot gun approach naming about a dozen companies as defendants so there would be plenty of pockets to settle out; although SPCK has indicated in its filings it does not believe it is liable for any material damages.
My 2010 stock of the year: SPCK...hidden gem, .14...IBM loves their product; used at four seasons and other fine hotels; quiet accumulation; under the radar; PROFITABLE...happy investing...40% REV GROWTH.
Mohammed El Erian of Pimco and Art Kashin(sp?) think the market is very vulnerable at these levels until consumer sentiment picks up.
Market comments from Pimco and Art Kashin(sp?) combined with last day of the month to take profits is creating a storm of selling. Earlier this week Art suggested the market was close to an 800 point down day, depending on the dollar. Housing, lack of consumer spending and unemployment along with the dollar and oil all creat uncertainty.
Do not be tempted to bet the USC-ND game....frequently a mess for ND but they are not a bad team this year...too many other better games to bet
This market is more bipolar.
Gman, if the figures are bad tomorrow we may get that big correction.
Anyone familiar with CNOA...i know you guys traded etlt and feed...cnoa looks interesting.
I am adding CPBY to my pick along with VIT as two stocks with exceptional futures...please check their stats!! Otherwise, this market needs a breather big time...but doesnt want to take it? BTW, i learned the hard way not to bet the ND-USC game, ever!!!!
This market seems to surprise on the upside. I am very skeptical at these levels because so much can go wrong...I would not be surprised to see a big "downer" one of these days due to all the debt related problems and unemployment. A ton of money is still parked on the side lines and would love to come in at lower levels....only the shadow knows and that is a sure bet.
Stan wasnt attending Yale was he?
Only watching it ...some posters there recommended vtro in the .20s...they have been right on that one with some profit taking going on. Investors in beaton down sdgl are expecting news in the next few weeks...put it on your watch list for a bounce...jmho
Hey Guys, Anyone know what happened to Stan? Is he posting on another board?
ntst, almi, amep(ouch)..it is me.
Vit and VTRO are ones i like
Flew over Seattle returning from Alaska and thought about Gary....Any of you know if his last name began with MA------?? Guy on the airplane was talking about a successful real estate guy who liked to fish and i thought it might be him.
Dogg: You do have a way with words!!! Did you get your valetine from Gary?
thank you, thank you very much!
NOT interesting on alif: too much of a problem collecting deliquent accounts and recievables.
