Nice. Continued buying. That award seemed to really boost this baby!
Is this the kind of shorting we have going on here? Shorting against the box means that you enter into a short position at the same time that you own shares in a long position. In order to close out the short sale you can either buy shares or use shares that you own ( from your long position ) in order to deliver or replace the shares that you borrowed when you entered the short sales.
Shorting against the box is considered a perfect hedge because your financial position doesn't change if the stock goes up or if it goes down.
Thanks Rawnoc. I've seen your posts on different companies for years on Yahoo and RB. You've had some great winners over the years along with a few stinkers but not many.
Rawnoc, if you don't mind my asking, what caused you to purchase stock in this company so early on? What did you see that others didn't? I have followed other stocks of yours over the years and am curious how you came upon EGMI so early? TIA
Newbie here. Just picked up a position in the last few days. I hope you guys are right. This company does look good though. I was also in ZAGG. Nice run.
RDG, I agree, and hopefully they will step up soon and respond to some of the criticisms posted here.
I think you will see the mill back on line a lot sooner than you think.
Big hammer. This board is getting tired of your incessant whining and negativity. Why don't you take a break. Start ups have problems. This is a start up company and it's going to run into glitches on occasion. Were not talking Nasdaq here. All you seem to be able to do is focus on the negative. It really gets tiresome.
Considering the advance that Zagg has made that wasn't much of a drop at all. It's been holding up really well considering the moves the stock has made in the last few weeks.
BigHammer wouldn't know a positive post if it hit him in the face. There's no way he's long on this stock. I think someone might want to check to see if he's shorting this offshore.
If that is true Webtime then how are you helping yourself by bashing this company. I thought people who invest in stocks want their stock to go up. It's clear you and bighammer don't. All you have to do is read your posts. I would think if I were underwater I wouldn't be bashing CPRK publicly. There's nothing wrong with presenting facts but you and BH are trying to spread rumors and innuendo that don't jive with your claimed stock positions.
BigHammer is doing just what his name suggests, trying to hammer this stock into submission. If he truly owned large amounts of shares he would not be here with his buddy Webtime bashing this company and suggesting bankruptcy right when the company puts out the best news in their short history. As the share price improves the position of CPRK improves and the company will have to have less dilution. By continuing to rant about how inept M.D. is BigHammer and Webtime are clearly not interested in having the share price increase. Maybe, he is working with another group that would like to sweep in and take over the company if it fails. Do not believe everything that is posted on message boards. Either way BigHammer is not what he says he is. That's clear.
I've been following NNVC's progress off and on the last few years. How come they are so slow to begin testing in humans? Weren't they doing a bunch of tests in Vietnam to get past the FDA?
During the press conference held at the whitehouse the asst. surgeon general stated that the swine flu wasn't resistant to tamiflu or relenza. We have a ton of that on hand so that should control things fairly well in the U.S. I'm thinking Roche and GlaxoSmithKline will take off.
They could be trading to get shares to be ready to move the share price. Some people may want to get positioned before they run it. There could be several reasons for the high volume today other than dilution. The price wasn't affected much considering all the volume that occured. Some shareholders could be selling large amounts to others to get postioned before the run. Were all just guessing here except for the people that actually bought and sold stock today.
Somebody seems to be soaking up shares at .008.
Has anyone heard whether Fellows has had discussions with Raser Technologies to install geothermal turbines on their new properties. Raser (RZ) has just completed setting up turbines in a geothermal field in Milford, Utah and own quite a number of properties itself. Raser has the capability of installing geothermal turbines in about a years time so it wouldn't take them long to get going if they were doing a joint venture.
Thanks JTF and Ally. I will be going down either tomorrow or the next day. I'll let you know what I see and try to get a few pictures although I'm not good with downloading pictures to computers. Have a great day!
Thanks Ally and RDG. I'm thinking of driving down to the plant on Monday or Tuesday. Any suggestions about who I should talk to about getting in to look around? I'm going for a duel purpose. I want to see the mill and look at the installation of some geothermal turbines down the road. There is an incredible geothermal company that is just putting in their new turbines in Beaver which is a 30 minute drive from Milford. The company is called Raser technologies and a great investment letter has recommended them. They are on the NYSE and are currently selling for about 10 bucks a share but my newsletter predicts they will be going up over 2000%. You may want to check into it also. They have newly developed turbines that are easy to install and work on lower water temperatures than normal turbines. They have leased thousands of acres all over the west and the Oxford Club newsletter has picked them as one of their all time favorites. I've been a follower of Oxford Club for years and they have had some really good picks.
Anyone know where these shares keep coming from. Is there an endless supply?
I think it time to retain an attorney and go after these guys with a class action lawsuit by the shareholders as well as filing complaints with the SEC.
Lots of shares still being dumped. Where are they all these coming from? I live about 3 hours from Milford. I may go have a look around and take a few pics myself.
Thanks RDG. Appreciate your best guess. I thinking about buying a few more shares but waiting for a bottom. I think we may drop back into the fives if these shares keep appearing. Thanks
Anyone know where all these shares are coming from? I thought Wilf was gone. Who else is selling at these levels?
I hear they have lots of irons in the fire and there is a lot more to come.
Good information. Now then. Where is all the selling coming from. Does Wilbum still have shares to dump?
Just the facts. Has there been discussion about getting off the pinks and moving to OTC then possibly to AMEX or NASDAQ? TIA
Nice movement so far. It looks like the previous selling has subsided and mostly buys coming in.
I know the leases these guys have and there is plenty of copper in the ground. They are not building that mill for nothin. I just wish I knew the players involved in this deal. Are they stand up kind of guys or are they crooks. Someone's putting a lot of money up to build this mill. I don't think there putting that much money into this if they thought there was no copper. The thing that doesn't make sense is why the stock is so cheap if they have that much copper.
It's been warm in Salt Lake City for the last week (50-55 degrees). It did snow a couple of days ago but all the snow melted except for some shady areas.
News. Looks like I got what I was asking for except there are no numbers. Strange PR.
Whose selling. Low volume sell off. I bought in at 38 and thought that was the bottom. Guess Not. These guys need to gets some information out. How was Christmas sales, etc.
I try this again. No news for two weeks.
I hear there is no news for two more weeks!!
No news on Wednesday. Sorry
So far, all I've seen is a lot of pumping without any facts to hold it up. I hope for your sakes this is the real deal but so far is smells very funny. No one knows what the structure of the r/s is going to be. Are they going to issues millions of shares to the insiders? It's all been talk so far. No facts. Good Luck.
Bottled Water Facts
Millions and millions of dollars are spent each week on advertising campaigns to give consumers the perception that bottled water comes from some pristine mountain spring or magical underground aquifer assuring purity and quality. However, the fact is that bottled water is often times little more than just tap water in a bottle... sometimes worse!
You see, the Federal regulations that govern bottled water only require it to be as good as tap water, not better. There are no assurances, regulations or requirements that bottled water be any higher in quality than tap water, and according to some recent studies, it may often be of lower quality.
The fact is that people pay from $1 to $4 a gallon for the perception of higher quality, when in fact, the quality of bottled water is at best "unknown"! Over 90% of the cost of bottled water is in the bottle, lid and label.
The bottled water industry is full of deception and questionable ethics. Industry lobbyists successfully fight every year to keep bottled water companies from having to abide by even the minimal health standards set by the EPA for tap water. The FDA, who regulates bottled water, states that "Companies that market bottled water as being safer than tap water are defrauding the American public."
In March of 1999, the Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC) released a report called "Bottled Water, Pure Drink or Pure Hype?" NRDC 's report points out that as much as 40% of all bottled water comes from a city water system, just like tap water. The report also focuses on the fact that 60 to 70% of all bottled water sold in the U.S. is exempt from FDA's bottled water standards, because the Federal Standards do not apply to water bottled and sold within the same state. Unless the water is transported across state lines, there is no federal regulations that govern its quality. According to the NRDC "bottled water companies have used this loop hole to avoid complying with basic health standards, such as those that apply to municipally treated tap water". Also, all carbonated or sparkling waters are completely exempt from FDA guidelines that set specific contamination limits.
Sorry it's my belief that if this were the real deal it wouldn't be dropping this low. The insiders would be leaking what a great deal this is going to be and their friends, family and others would be buying all they could get. Just my humble opinion.
Is the market open monday?
The Chinese have plenty of water in the Himalayas. Why don't they just go there and bottle it? They have glaciers all over the Himalayas. Who needs Canadian water?
