Your math is off. 190,000 ounces/year is equal to 15,833 ounces per month. Say 9.5 million per month revenue, not profit.
It looks like they forgot to include the share structure here and will probably have to issue a correction to this PR.
The first two paragraphs look very similar to the last PR with slight modifications.
Excellent news about Frankfurt and the IR company. Onwards and upwards!!!!
Looks like the company agreed with my views about more transparency being required. Looking forward to a prosperous 2007 now.
I have read every post here and every PR issued by the company. I still have legitimate questions that I would like answered clearly. There is a need for more transparency here in order to gain investors confidence and to bring more shareholders into the fold. That alone will result in the increase in shareholders affluence that the company claims as its priority.
I think you've nailed it here. Some people have realized how the pinkie game is played out and have been profiting greatly from that knowledge. We saw it here with Chip/Chad and the South Florida crew just to give one example. The game goes on even today as you say.
I see you quite clearly 2C as do most people here. Please keep your personal attacks and accusations to yourself as they are a clear breach of the TOU of Ihub.
Most of what you are quoting are forward-looking statements which may or may not come true. Read the disclaimer at the bottom of every PR. I am looking for facts in my list of questions to IR and I won't be put off by your tactics.
Shareholders have a right to such basic information as the share structure of the company.
The stock ran up to .20 based on lies and deception from the company. Personally I think it is quite legitimate to be negative about a pump-and-dump scam.
Marion and others pointed out the red flags along the way and got nothing but abuse for their efforts. Those of us who chose to ignore the warnings are now suffering the consequences of our naivity.
This is a very good question, Marion.
Thanks for your efforts here btw. You have been bashed and ridiculed here because you were singing from a different hymn sheet. If I'd listened to you instead of the pump crew my trading account would be in much better shape today.
Ya live and learn I guess.
I don't know if any of them will ever see the inside of a jailhouse but ultimately they cannot avoid the consequences of their actions. That is a universal law that some call the law of karma. It doesn't matter if it is believed in or even known about the result is inevitable. What you put out you get back. Very simple.
This applies not only to the main players in this drama but also to the pumpers and shills who mislead honest folks on this board and elsewhere for so long.
Communications with shareholders has been a major issue here imo. Parkin was readily available in the early days but as time went on he closed down to a great extent for a number of reasons. Now he rarely speaks to shareholders and only occasionally replies to emails. That is why I'm enthusiastic at the prospect of somebody else taking over the role of IR. I was never happy with the flow of information from the company and comments to some shareholders in private telephone conversations don't carry much weight with the market. Things can only get better on that front in the future hopefully.
Agreed Gwikley. This scam has the marks of Andrew DeVries all over it imo. Puppet master sums it up nicely. Steve and Petar and Dennis were his willing puppets however.
If there is any justice in this world these conmen will get what they deserve some day.
Thank you for this update, Airys. I appreciate the efforts you and Stock HOG have made to salvage something from this train wreck. Best of luck to you both.
Hello Glo,
You'll certainly need to get used to volatility with AURC. I first bought in at .12 only to see it drop to .02 not long afterwards. Luckily I didn't panic and loaded the boat instead. It climbed as high as .40 at one stage before dropping back to .10 where it languished for ages. Then it took off again. So it's been an exciting year. As the year draws to a close it is a good time to reflect on things.
The main problem we have is one of credibility imo. The market simply doesn't believe the claims that the company is making. I don't need to prove this statement... just look at the share price. If the claims made in the PRs were accepted by the market we would be trading at many multiples of today's PPS. Most reasonable people would accept that.
The question for us longs is how do we help our company with this credibility problem? There has been talk of a Investor Relations/Public Relations company coming on board. That would be very helpful as the present situation is very unsatisfactory.
I'm sure that most of us who've been here for any length of time have lots of questions that we'd like answered. Certainly I have. Why don't we compile a list of shareholders questions to present to the new IR company?
I'd welcome any such questions from other longs here. I'll compile a list as the questions come in. Obviously we can't expect to get insider information but there are some things that any public company should be telling its shareholders.
Here are my first questions for the list:
1. What is the present share structure of the company? How many authorised shares? How many outstanding shares? How many of these shares are restricted and how many are in the public float? For how much longer are the shares restricted?
2. What plans has the company got to tackle the problem of naked shorting of its stock? AURC has been on the Reg SHO list for ten of the last twelve months with serious consequences for its share price.
3. The company plans to become fully reporting in Q1 2007. Has an auditor been appointed yet? What is the name of the audit company?
4. What is the present status of the Klyon "Maple" ore deposit that the company acquired last March. Is this still one of AURC's properties?
Good question Marc. Probably the same traders who have killed every run in this stock for the past year by selling into the PR hype.
I first bought AURC at 0.12 a year ago and it hit that level last week again.
The NSS is a factor I'm sure but not the whole story imo.
Right. 2C may have got these dates confused. Thanks.
A few questions arise about the recent PR about naked shorting of AURC. I haven't seen any explanations here yet of the following:
"The Company has learned that the SEC has implemented the Short Sale Threshold rule on its stock which is the result of excessive naked shorting on its securities. Although the Company regrets that such shorting exists, it is very positive that no further shorting shall be allowed to affect the positive developments ahead."
Does the first sentence means that AURC is a threshold security as defined by Reg SHO and features on the Reg SHO list? It sounds as if the company only found out about this recently. In fact AURC has been on the SHO list for most of the year. This was pointed out to Parkin on a number of occasions by members of this board. His response as I recall was one of indifference. He had no plan to combat the NSS and didn't see it as a big problem. Now it seems that it is a problem after all or at least regretable.
The company "is very positive that no further shorting shall be allowed to affect the positive developments ahead." Why is it so positive I wonder? Reg SHO as it stands is a toothless regulation. There is no way to enforce its requirements. There are plans to upgrade it but that may take some time. Meanwhile I have no confidence that the SEC can do anything to prevent further naked shorting of this stock.
I don't believe the stock dividend will prevent naked shorting either. The most effective weapon the company has against the NSS is to follow through on its promises for the coming year. If it becomes fully reporting and declares cash dividends then shorty will have no chance of survival. If the company fails to deliver on these promises then shorty will be all over us like a rash.
Actually Jan 30th is the record date for the stock dividend according to the PR. You may know better of course.
Yes, still long here Creede through all the ups and downs of the past year. It has been both fascinating and frustrating.
I've been here a lot longer than you have. If you are so clever please explain how the Russians will get a bigger share of the profits. I've done my DD and I don't see it but I'm willing to be enlightened by clever investors like you.
How will the Russians get a bigger chunk of the profits? Every shareholder will hold exactly the same portion of the company after the dividend is issued as before. It's a wash.
The only way they might have profited was by selling into the hype generated by the PRs and using insider knowledge to scoop up some extra roubles for Christmas.

I wonder how the PR company will be paid. Shares?
That means zilch, Benz. Just that they've been on the list over 13 days. Don't hold your breath for a buy-in..
In fact we don't know for certain what the capital structure is, Creede. The TA is gagged and management won't release this information. I don't believe that the figure in the Ibox is accurate as it doesn't account for the venture capital put up by NewConsult.
I'm pretty certain that we're not talking billions of shares though.
Agreed DrF. We've been screwed. Talk of a class action is unrealistic in pinkie land however imo.
Actually the PR implied it would be cash. You inferred it would be cash as did many others including me.
I was aware of the stock possibility but trusted management to deliver on the clear implication in the wording of the PR.
I'll know better in future.
Sadly I agree with you. We were mislead. A stock dividend is not "paid".
This was flagged in advance by some posters here who were attacked for their trouble.
Most of the longs here factor in Parkin time. He usually delivers eventually on his promises.
I jumped already. Let's hope this is pay day.
Maybe the insiders know something?
I wondered about that 5 million figure too. Never seemed to increase with new acquisitions. Obviously we haven't heard the full story yet.
Good one, Hunter. :)
It seems that the company have a few questions to answer about Klyon. They have a duty to keep their shareholders informed about anything that might affect their investment.
Looking forward to some good news shortly.
Two whole days huh? Some here have tried calling the company for months without an answer.
Looks like an early morning shake. Hang in folks.
The volume is low today so it doesn't look like the company is selling. Also the CMF has turned positive so that should keep Starboy happy. I'm surprised that there isn't more action today after yesterday's excitement. "Show me the money" seems to be the theme today.
The clear implication in the PR is that this will be a cash dividend rather than a stock dividend. Okay I'd settle for payment in kind... a gold nugget perhaps. They say that they can now afford to pay a dividend. A stock dividend can be issued at any time. You don't have to be able to afford it as it merely dilutes everybodies holding. If this is a stock dividend the market will react very negatively imo.
We do? What was the answer?
Wake up and smell the coffee, Coach. All the hype about Dubai was just part of the scam. You'd be wasting your time going there unless you just want a vacation.
It's a sign of a good con when the marks don't even realize they've been conned.
Maybe Bob heard back from one of the majors and he is buying up the float himself. :)
A thought occurs about these tailings that are being reprocessed by AURC. As I understand it the Russians were mining for uranium rather than gold originally. Hence the high level of precious metals in the tailings.
These other companies may have been reprocessing mine tailings where the gold had already been extracted. They may have been using the new process to squeeze the residual gold from the tailings. Ya think?
So it would seem. However this is a quote from the PR about the financing:
"According to the offering, NewConsult Ltd. will proceed to fund an initial US$2 million upon the company's listing on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange, which is expected by the middle of October and will continue to fund the company's operation for a period of 48 months."
As the Frankfurt listing hasn't happened yet it is possible that the funding hasn't come through yet and the O/S is unchanged. Only the company can clarify this for us.
