This is where it comes down to basics beliefs on why we are here.
The AS (Authorized Shares for newbies) are/were astronomical. MMs', flippers, shorters have been living the pinky dream.
OS (Outstanding Shares) has not had the restricted preferred shares in the loop.... or was that as of today?
I do not know the dates of the restricted preferred issued though I believe they are restricted for five years. (Someone please correct me if I'm incorrect in this assumption. I thought I'd read that.)
If some restricted were issued in 2002 (when the company started, again this is an assumption) perhaps that accounted for some of the dumping today especially in light of the RS. Especially if some of the preferred were issued to management, they would know that the RS would tank the stock initially.
With this mornings pop in share price, this would be an opportune time to sell those shares giving the management (if it was indeed them and I do not know,)cash on hand to scoop up even cheaper shares when the RS news came out.
We as shareholders of a very young growing company should think "What if this was my business?"
"I must reduce the Authorized shares of 3.9 billion, now 3.2 billion even further or I will not attract any serious investors with deep pockets." If my goal is to expand, and I need cash. What are my options? Sell preferred shares? RS?
Another stock issuance which will further increase the AS???
Seems they been there with the last one. Can't see them making that mistake again.
If I was an institutional investor, I would not touch the stock in its' present state with a ten foot pole, and would also be forbidden to even if the company reduced it's debt by 60%, was getting great media attention etc. Bottom line, the share structure stinks.
Even if I wasn't an institutional investor, PINK SHEET STOCKS ARE NOTORIOUS SCAMS IN GENERAL. Big investors want transparency FIRST. We know this is a legitimate, growing and working business with growing problems.
Many of us here are the ones who have invested on faith with the DD we have done on EI. I believe EI will justify this RS as it is necessary for them to do so for not only us but the future investors that will scrutinize their actions before investing.
If I was not an institutional investor though one on the sidelines with some substantial cash to invest, I would still want to see transparency first before I invested. And, with a reverse split at this time the new lower AS total would also have me put EI a little bit higher on my watch list to see if EI shows the reduction. EI has certainly attracted alot of interest in the last year with the Philly trade show in 2006 and the huge accomplishments evident at the trade show in Las Vegas in Oct. 2007. Like they use to say, "You've come a long way baby."
As it is, I am a small investor and am holding my shares and probably adding more as I do not see any substantial change in the game plan. Those are my basic beliefs, that is why I am here.
Sorry for the long winded post. All is IMO.
Good Evening.

Great post Hedgeman26.
Yes, this is a real company in a very large industry and they are just carving out their niche. They are taking the right steps to grow the company and protecting themselves with patenting their designs. It takes a lot of time and effort to grow a company correctly. I am patient and looking down the road where the company will be in a few years as well.
LMAO!!!!
Good Morning Etimers!
Let's get this party started!
Good Morning All, hope Santa was good to you. Thank you MKA for the chart.
Not if you have the tools to enable an "Affirmative For Launch..."
Happy Holidays Everyone!
“My plans for Eternal Image include nothing short of saturating every channel available to the company,” said DeAvila. “There are so many diverse avenues a business can take when it comes to marketing a product in the funeral industry. It is my intention to permeate every segment and distribution approach the industry has to offer.”
I think this gentleman will have a profound effect on the companys' bottom line next year. I like saturation.
Good Morning Dancy et al!
I thought the interview went off very well. JP sounded smooth and professional and the interviewer did as well. The prediction of .50 per share it a formidable goal. I'm sure they know enough now about missing numbers that they didn't just pull the number out of the air. They know a lot more than we know and perhaps, just perhaps they are sitting on some really big news until the uplist.
Next year is just around the corner and is going to be fun IMHO.
Go figure...LMAO!!!
Looks radioactive to me. Where are my sunglasses again?..LOL!

Class all the way..NOT!
In dealing with reality...exactly. That is why this man has joined Eternal Image. Everything changes during the course of our lives. There is no getting away from that. Trends within the funeral industry are being changed as well.
I went to two funerals in the last 3 years. Neither were mourning the death of the deceased so to speak, the theme was that they (the family) was celebrating the life of the deceased.
Year Sales, Marketing and Operations Veteran Joins Eternal Image Team as the New National Director of Sales

DeAvila brings to the position, 25 years of experience in the sales, marketing and operations of branded products.
David DeAvila is joining forces with Eternal Image after 21 years as Director of International Operations for Herman Miller Inc., a leading global provider of office furniture based in Michigan and most recently after five years in the retail home furniture industry. DeAvila also plans to focus his attention on expanding the domestic distributor base by using his previous experience and relationships as a resource. This will in turn, open up the market for Eternal Image to promote their products to an enhanced distributor base. David is also fluent in Spanish.
“We are flattered that someone with his knowledge and experience is eager to become a part of the Eternal Image team,” said Clint Mytych, CEO, Eternal Image. “There is no doubt that David’s enthusiasm and expertise will help the company thrive as well as generate greater exposure for the Eternal Image product lines.”

e of their loved one. It was pictures of the deceased on a poster board in happier times, memorable times framed around the funeral parlour. (There is also an opportunity here that needs to be addressed.)
The winds of change are coming in this industry. Etim is the pioneer here in my opinion

It's getting to look a lot like Christmas...
I'm very sorry for your loss.
That is very nice of you to do.
I may considered that as well as there is a whole new generation just starting out with my family and memories of my grandparents aren't tangible so I have nothing to pass on. No photos, no cards. I don't know where they went. Over the years, keepsakes get misplaced.
An Urn though for a central keepsake is a great idea. I'm sure no one would forget where that was.
Good Evening.
Yes indeed. I'm sure they weren't freebies.
"(I'm still having trouble rooting for death)"
Mildew,
What then possessed you to invest in this company???
Yeah I know, you are a widow who invested, and now are losing money. Why in the world would you invest in a company that makes its' revenue Directly from the DECEASED???
There has got to be a better company for you to invest in especially since you obviously are a consistent downer on Etim.
Link to your first post. I suggest all new potential investors read not only midrews' posts but all of ours. I think it kind puts perspective on the table.

Not a ray of thought regarding the industry and changing trends. Did you ever research Etim before you purchased shares? Did you recognize the risks given it's pinky status?
Did you understand that the company AND management were buying back stock on the open market??? Do you KNOW that when uplisting is completed a whole new ballgame begins?
Yes they missed projections, problems, new to the game, geeze louise, you got my hair standing on end!!
Do us all a favor please, when the stock spikes on euphoria (as all pinkies inevitably do, SELL!!!)
Thank you and have a pleasant evening.
PS. I have officially put you on ignore because you have no substantive information to offer this board.
Wow!
Very nice close! :)
Welcome Back Lurker from Mars alien type dude.
Use this next time...LOL!
I don't believe any of us saw .001 in our crystal balls though it was an awesome entry for some!
Thanks MKA. I also appreciate your charts and Bee's work here.
We're still at the bottom in my opinion. You should look at MKA's chart.
Ummmm...
Nice pom pom...
Pfffffftttt!
It's the only place to see and be seen in my humble opinion... ;)
You are very welcome. :)
May I suggest you call IR in the morning?
The grass got cut today.
A couple more days for funds to clear...
(pout) :<
Oh well, I'll take scraps!
Thanks for the confirmation JP and thank you for posting Racerx999
It's been kind of hectic here today. Lol
