Absolutely. And at least 8,500 more shares. Congrats to the buyer, I think and hope.
That's some serious selling that was done in short order. Makes ya wonder.....
So much for that ARCA roadblock.
Better get bigger horsies next time.
Right after PSCs were signed it was stated by many of the very smartest (okay, biggest dot connector) posters that Sinopec was buying millions of shares in the high $.80s .
Are they (Sinopec) the biggest flippers in our stock????!!!!!!
Of course, many of those smartest (okay, biggest dot connector) posters also claimed Pioneer was already drilling in one of our blocks before PSCs were done. I know, I know - it was a secret well that still hasn't been disclosed.
As Elsie stated in the post prior to yours, frequently a large ARCA bid or ask is posted and then taken down if pressured. I agree with her comment.
I have always believed they are used to stop momentum for exactly as you state - price control.
I know it isn't used by me!!! Sorry I can't be of more help.
You are reading it wrong. That is a purchase order.
ARCA is frequently used like that to stop momentum in a direction of a stock.
Fantastic news!!!!! I called this guy 2 minutes ago and he answered the phone with:
"Good morning. This is Oilphant speaking".
Last $.70
Last $.69
Just curious dane........
What do you use to keep the pilot light lit if your gas isn't on?
"Just trying to keep the pilot light lit for when the gas comes back on. "
Good luck convincing others to invest here Peter. Hope that works out for ya.
YOU ARE FORGIVEN.
:)
Could just go back and edit the post.
The overnight pumps haven't moved it from $.66 (2) x $.68 (1).
Apparently we need more creative pumping. The same old same old just doesn't work any more!!!
Interesting. I'm using Ameritrade (Command Center 2.0) also! Either way, it doesn't represent a lot of support, but some is certainly better than none.
Yup. ABLE jumped back into the mix. Seems to change places every couple of minutes.
I won't offer an opinion of what is going on with the stock. It isn't worth the time or effort!
But I can say that a very simple read of Level II indicates that we are capable of being in the $.50s in a split second. The only bid supporter in the $.60s - ABLE - has fallen back to $.55.
BID 1 mm at $.66 next at $.58 (2 of them)
ASK 1 mm at $.665 next 1 at $.67
edit
new bid mm at $.64 for support
Yes. Happens all the time here.
At my age, everything is done slow and steady.........
Looks like $.55 is pretty solid support. I wouldn't be surprised to find us work out way back to $.60 today.
Ya talked me into it. Selling my 250,000 plus shares today.
Have a great day all.
Thanks to you and all others for their PMs and information.
I'll 2nd the need to read about Fishdog's comment. Any member feel free to PM me with the information.
Thanks.
One of the smartest posts ever put out here.
Give credit where credit is due. Too many people here are blind to the obvious and see the wrong conspiracy.
IMHO of course.
Please expound on your manipulation theories, like who is doing it and their motives, and any possible verifiable information you have regarding your opinion.
Thanks.
Yes - we frequently spoke to each other on these boards, and I am darn near positive he was one of many who followed me here. He was one of my favorites a few years back, and someone I certainly enjoyed conversing with on the boards.
All the best to you and your family, and may you find comfort in your faith, whatever faith that may be. Know that Oliver did touch people out here in cyberspace, and was appreciated.
The buyers bought. Now the sellers sell.
We moved up on a very small volume, and if we had fallen 11 cents on that volume the board would have screamed manipulation. It really does work both ways - traders buy on low volume drops and sell on low volume gains.
No bid support of any substance, and a wall has been erected at $.80 .
Looks like a stopping point unless there really is some news coming.
It's actually one tenth of a penny, or one thousandth of a dollar.
But yes, it is a small spread.
$.68 last. I'm in Ameritrade now.
Misery loves company.
Thanks for the info.
Anyone else having trouble logging into Ameritrade right now? I have 3 accounts and can't login.
Thanks.
I am 100% certain that your information is incorrect.
I understand your point alwright. Personally, my stops are pretty close to current price when I use them, as my discipline with getting out needed help. I've never had the problem you describe with stops - I used them tighter to current price, which means more activity is happening at that time and I get out just before the avalanche down.
I've had more trouble manually executing dumps. It's a tough discipline to learn. But I see your point.
We got the well written PR that many here have been barking to get at the start of the day, and after it hit the wires - the stock went down a few pennies.
Trading stayed red all day, and then we tumbled to a low of $.60 on low volume, with a quick rebound to $.70.
And here we are.
The traders I know well would have been stopped out a long time before the avalanche. Rule 1 in trading: Protect your gains.
As a more novice trader, one of the lessons I learned when not committing to rule 1 was that when the avalanche took place, I was never able to get below the sell, so I always chased down and then got hit on the way back up, thus never actually recovering any shares, but losing what I had in the process, including the gains. That convinced me to use stops. Once having learned that lesson (and I admit it took more than 1 experience), I always stopped my gains at a happy point, and then put buys somewhere under the stops where I thought bounces would take place. I only did the buys on stocks I trusted fundamentally, like this one, where I knew the rebound was almost certain.
Those are my experiences. I see the inexperienced people getting caught in those avalanches, not the experienced. And yes, it can be traders, but not the smart ones.
Not really - unless you know from personal experience. The traders would have (or at least should have) been selling earlier in the day after the long awaited PR turned out to be exactly NOTHING to the share price, as some of us expected. The traders see the bottom falling out (LVL2 was pretty clear we were weak) and put buys in lower to catch the falling knife.
That's how I used to do it, and many other people I know did the same thing. It's a simple and easy to execute play.
Quite a nice little adjustment in average cost per share when done properly. Congrats to those that played the PR.
Now, where's the next PR???????
I think we just need a good PR. That'll fix it!!
Gettin pretty cheap again. Time to look under the pillows again for when the blood hits the street, and it appears that will happen as our FRIENDS work the stock, whomever they are.
So anytime the share price moves down we should assume that there is a conspiracy by many, or at the very least, an effort by someone to sell down the share price? Could you please explain why our friends would do this to our price?
Thanks again for educating me.
Art,
Can you please identify who these friends are that you imply are working our price down, and please provide some evidence to support your claim?
Thanks in advance.
Thanks for the reply Mr. Keeney.
Perhaps Mr. Keeney would reply to your question sent to his e-mail address asking why he no longer posts press releases on this forum. It would seem a valid question.
I'm sure we could come up with a short list of guesses.
If your child brings over a friend who never gets fed at home and you decide to feed the child out of kindness, what would be your reaction if every time you fed him he whined and complained about the free meal you were giving him?
Sometimes courtesies become someone else's expectations, and sometimes those courtesies are not appreciated but criticized instead.
edit - And I can hear the replies stating it's his job. Well, not if his extension to our board is a courtesy.......
