Did u catch that $10 B on TSLA off 155, actually did almost $19 back up to 174 briefly. If one played the last pop off 155 for the ER runnup, that was golden. It sold down right from the am gap at 181 then guess where the fade point was a/h?
$26 down from that same exact 181 (!) huge play, still overvalued
if they had done 6-8k units another story, now does 155 hold?
Penguins will defend, 146 next support, fair value 130
InvenSense files to sell $125M of convertible senior notes due 2018
Goldman, Sachs & Co. will act as the sole initial purchaser for resale of the offering to qualified institutional buyers pursuant to Rule 144A under the Securities Act.
$TSLA traders were hoping for 7-8k units sold, no dice 181 gap down to 155 sup on the 60min where held twice before , $26 fade, now priced to perfection but 155 has held once tnite for $10 bounce
This was the oct 9th noteTesla Q3 sales above estimates, says Northland Securities
Northland said data out indicates Tesla VIN numbers increased to 8,000 cars sold in Q3 vs. the 5,000 estimated vehicle guidance. :
Trading the theme-trades, Solars were plucky enough but then dipped after SPWR's beat to await FSLR results, today was the combo of that beat & CSIQ preannouncing and up they flew. SPWR beat pants off earnings & guidance but still sold down to 28 from daily double top high 34.50...an now run back up again. JKS TSL SPWR CSIQ SCTY just went reversal crazy after FSLR beat.
TSLA was one of those 30/60min dub~bot chart lows at clear pivot low @154 that came twice & run back up today and SCTY was deriving benefit from that plus earnings, plus the other solars running. (Shorting SCTY at $65 later was just a hail mary trade that worked to, nice even number.)
We know TSLA's going to beat tmorrow, prolly SCTY too, now what valuation are they ready to accept again for TSLA? I think 185 probably pretty good valuation, could go higher & retest top, then settle back down again, see what the #'s are in Europe & China.
PS: Note $FB put in a juicy double top for the re-short at $52 on 30min chart, almost right to the penny, those are the easy pivots try to define for sure trades, worry about teens leaving, ad placement getting maxed out, and just profitaking.
AGU had a decent day, CF sposed to be reporting sometime tnite
KORS ran into the close, tmorrow same R will be at top high on the daily if it squeezes up fr the fade, really is a good time for shorts, long as u wait

Reports Q3 revenue $826.8M, consensus $960.28M. The company said, "Although third quarter production was slightly below our guidance range as a result of delays in bringing new wells on production in the Eagle Ford Shale related to increased pad drilling, we expect fourth quarter production to grow significantly as these delayed wells and a substantial number of new pad wells from the Eagle Ford Shale and the Spraberry/Wolfcamp areas are placed on production. We are forecasting 2013 production growth of 14% compared to 2012." :theflyonthewall.com

Steel stocks strong after Goldman upgrades sector
A number of steel stocks are climbing after Goldman Sachs upgraded its rating on the sector. WHAT'S NEW: American steelmakers are heading for a "sustainable recovery" in coming years, Goldman analyst Sal Tharani wrote in a note to investors. Supply/demand trends for the industry are beginning to improve, as supply has been reduced while demand trends continue to look favorable, the analyst contended. Demand catalysts include growth in the non-residential real estate, auto, energy, chemical and power sectors, he believes. The analyst upgraded his rating on the sector to Neutral from Cautious. WHAT'S NOTABLE: Along with his rating change on the sector, Tharani upgraded three specific steelmakers. He raised his ratings on both U.S. Steel (X) and AK Steel (AKS) to Buy from Sell, and upgraded Steel Dynamics (STLD) to Buy from Neutral. TODAY'S PRICE ACTION: In late morning trading, U.S. Steel climbed 5% to $27.10, AK Steel surged 11.3% to $5.12, Steel Dynamics advanced 2.6% to $18.90, Commercial Metals (CMC) rose 1.4% to $18.60, and Nucor (NUE) gained 1.4% to $53.50.
TRIP doin its thing, CSIQ anyone? <bg
AMZN found its R again at 365, another $10 fade, since earnings squeeze this has traded 70pts in this upper channel, may not look like it lol, 356 has to hold

BBRY getting euthanized here to $6
NQ off & up early off 12s
JKS look at 60min, swoon from 26 to 19s, then bounce $4 the next day to 23's and now biding mid 24's...this sector was hinged on FSLR & did the wham bam boozle reversals.
TSLA was real steady off dub bot at 153, perfect bounces, its possible it could do the reversal an top retest...
EXPE was another, there was that eod ramp back up Fri, back into Jimmies groove on earnings with EXPE into PCLN following right up next
They can certainly ramp FLSR to 65 & really stick it to the shorts, I did call the pop on SPWR to 34 area but also right before FSLR following there was the nervous shake & called the fade on SPWR which does usually sell off after ERs.
If you were a believer in FSLR beat all those shakes for SCTY JKS & CSIQ were golden fades & rebuy, CSIQ & JKS have been little monsters, CSIQ 3rd best performer in the market
Guess who got mentioned for Stocktwits top twenty traders to watch during earnings? ( moi, hehe )
http://blog.stocktwits.com/this-is-who-you-should-follow-on-stocktwits-during-earnings-season/
Nailed LNKD SODA FB DUST last week & solars really well real well called the top on TSLA,tomorrow $SCTY in symp one way or the other and fave PXD in the oils.
But have to love INVN bounce, tx to you getting me watching it
tx, didn't know was on it , am pretty good in the AH, nailed the R LNKD at 252 and other morning for $FB called the PM short from 51 and 5mins ahead of the botto 46s and called that reverse trade long too
FB was crazy options play with the $5.50 rebound off premarket lows , really made my week. Also the fader from 52 as well, I stick with them like a bulldog thru the vascillations.
You guys don't play puts, but TRLA & SODA were doomed,
