Thank you Karin...good factual piece with decent circulation...every little bit helps...
Not sure name calling is appropriate unless you're channeling your inner Trump. She is a judge in New York and undoubtedly with a full docket. I am sure she also wants to dot all the I's and T's to avoid any chance for appeal. There is also the possibility the court is deciding on possible sanctions to go along with the dismissal with prejudice.
Lot's of eyes on these type of cases of late and the court wants to get it right. Personally I have no problem with that.

I think it's safe to say that the company has had offers for all 3 compounds individually as well as collectively...that includes an offer for a total buyout but they would've been way to low...this happens all the time but now that the trials are showing success and moving forward those valuations change...the company is smart to wait and continue the path they are on...I do agree with most here that a nice deal for P in the next few weeks/months will go along way and allow the company to continue their work and I also feel this is the case.
Next few weeks and months should be fun and rewarding for us all...including suffering patients.

The upcoming (maybe this week) dismissal with prejudice of our lawsuit will go along way. Especially true for the fence sitters or those that are looking to add.

Sounds like a B movie..
I am not in the habit of blaming anyone...I was just "typing" out loud and suggesting both the FDA/Government and the companies developing promising drugs to find better ways to expedite the whole process even if it means changing the system and time frames. If new drugs aren't approved soon there will no longer be such a thing as "minor surgery" or "just a scrape"
Mark
Sad but true BK, hopefully the Path Act sponsored by Senators Hatch and Bennett will get things moving along to faster approval. More national news coverage would help.
For now it's the scare of the Zinka virus that has the attention but if a few more "Superbugs" show up that will change.
Have a nice holiday all and remember why we "celebrate" today.
Mark
Maybe the recent news regarding the Pennsylvania woman with E. Coli that had to be treated with Colistin that was deemed to be too toxic back in the 70's will put a fire under them..
With the need for a new class of non-resistant antibiotics that the FDA/Government would have a little more urgency...doesn't or shouldn't have to take 20 plus months.
How many new antibiotics trying to start a Phase III could the FDA be reviewing?
Mark
Thank you Doc, well written as usual and I believe, for what it's worth, that you are correct in regards to company waiting for results from the B OM trial before moving forward with that side of the Brilacidin platform.
Good news on that civil suit being dismissed with prejudice...hopefully that will start a trend and ours will be next. Sanctions and jail time is needed as well as more news coverage of these frivolous articles and suits. IMO

Maybe the threat of an asteroid heading towards Washington will get them all to work together for awhile...unfortunately for the Dinosaurs they didn't have much warning.
Personally I'm glad he didn't mention anything about companies interested and waiting on these results. He has already stated there are "interested parties"..Let's let it play out over the next few weeks.
In the meantime we can receive news on all the other fronts at anytime...any of which can move the sp over 2.00..
Was a good day today IMO.
Mark S
What's wrong with Tuesday-Wednesday "Debbie Downer"?
Looking forward to the next 2 weeks myself...
Mark
Lot's of good positive vibes of late and I am in agreement as to P top line data next week and other news coming soon or same time...
I just hope Lucy isn't holding the football (CTIX) for Charlie Brown..
That was "tongue in cheek" but add all three compounds and you may have something there...
I think you guys mean 150.00....think ICPT a few years ago.
Thank you LR and you too Karen...would be nice (obviously) to get this suit behind us this month...
Been a long few weeks since Aug 6th...but whose counting..
MS
I agree about finally getting some real news soon and least not forget we can receive news on other fronts anytime as well..
FYI, non paying Hubbers can use the iggy button as well as I have used it for a few...but like you said, we still see the responses from others...maybe we should quit answering their posts?...just a thought.
Good close today...everyday may be green this week.
Mark
LR, So almost 2 months then..any idea as to who is at "bat" Sullivan or Rosen?...or are we waiting on the Judge?
My last recollection was we filled for a dismissal and are waiting for the Judge.
MS
True and after the 160 B merger with Allergan fell through because of inversion rules or law PFE has money to spend to build up it's platform in the coming months...
Pfizer to buy Anacor for their eczema drug (topical gel) for 5.2 Bil...pre-market for Anac up 50%...
Good week to all here.
Mark
As they say, chicks love the long ball, and nothing wrong with playing a variety of "courses" but cant speak to your "equipment".
Heck I feel good I can still reach par 4's and an occasional par 5 now an then...always more interested in GIR and course management...and most of my serious golf was when we played with persimmon drivers with steel shafts, unlike today where drivers have 12 adjustable settings and sweet spots the size of a grapefruit...
A Tournament is 4 rounds and CTIX is in the 2nd round..I like our chances.
Mark
TB...I can only speak for myself (and did so yesterday)..I've been in this name for 5 years and bought on the 3 dollar run up so I guess I am the only one still "red"...I work 6 days a week (60 hours) and wasn't able to be nimble enough but did add this spring under 1.70 to lower my average...personally I don't think it matters if its going to 100.00 or sold for 45 dollars a share...my investment is stress free (not like some here)...constant negativity and complaints adds no net value unless one has other motives.
Maybe some should just chill for the next few weeks and see what happens or just sell and move on...easy peasy!
Good weekend to all.
Mark
I entered 5 years ago at 1.75 and bought more during the run up 2 years ago in the high 3's but have also bought the dips the last few months and ave. is back under 2.60 so I'm "red but no dread".
Golf teaches one patience if you believe in what you're doing or what you're investing in...
Life lessons...no charge!
Mark
Some here are "experts" at minutia, shell games and the beating of dead horses...can't wait for the next few pr's to quiet some of this down and concentrate on the future.
Have a great weekend all and don't forget Mother's Day!
Go CTIX...
Mark S
I forgot but makes sense...chihuahuas are smarter except mine chases golf carts...
Yeah but what about how BK use to claim he was a Cocker Spaniel? I always had doubts there...
Sorry, cant tell if you are kidding or sincere..but way to early to be tweeting anything...if it is this week then I'll be one of the first...
Patience needed by all the "grasshoppers" here...
Good things come to those who wait...
Mark
How about a realistic (subjective) compromise and call it to be released Tuesday the 17th or the following day on my Birthday!
As most of us realize there are many factors to being able to report or release trial results and most of them out of the companies hands.
Of course that doesn't preclude us from getting news on other fronts at any time.
Meanwhile, enjoy the spring weather and a few "adult" beverages...
Sounds like the beginning of a Dr. Seuss book or makings thereof...
Mark
I am a little perplexed regarding the nervousness (some investors/posters) on lack of news from the Pruisol trial...unless I missed something Leo told us that this would be coming in May.
Some hijacked this and posted it would be in April or maybe just overly optimistic as to the timing of the release.

Yes he's a good contact and fighting a great cause...has already met with VP Biden, President Carter and being the former Facebook President doesn't hurt either...
Mark
Sean Parker and the new Parker Institute is front page news on USA Today...like "Just" said, 250 million investment for Immunotherapy to fight cancer...
He could be a good advocate and should be interested in Kevetrin...
I followed him on Twitter today and will send him links when we get news..
Mark S
Don't forget the stealth like run up caused by the leak prior to good PR's.
I know it's wise to be unpredictable but sometimes I miss waking up to the 7 AM Pr or even the 7 PM ones on Sunday night we use to get...
Off base but nice try...the Mako "article" was void of facts and full of untruths...this latest article is full of facts regarding current status of ongoing clinical trials and pipeline.
Last weeks article is a great place to start for any new investors in Biotech or current investors looking to add.

I have alerts/emails sent to me from companies on my watch list that I currently are not investing in or never have...so in this case I like the exposure, especially from such a well written and comprehensive piece.
Like others, I wasn't enthused that it was posted on SA but smart investors and institutions know the difference between the Mako hit piece and this factual report and forecasts...
Personally, I am glad April has arrived, plus the Masters next week!!

I personally don't see an appeal coming from the Rosen Group...that is why the Judge has been so careful and following the law and giving them all the time and amendments they asked for...they will move on to one of many other of their "lawsuits" and cut their losses...I like how the Judge has handled the whole procedure even if I wish it were quicker..
IMO
Mark S
The sanctions would come from the Rosen Group not doing dew diligence for the suit...it was filed same day as the Mako hit piece and basically a cut and paste job off the SA article..that is an ethics violation...it would be to early at this point to be asking for damages...
It would help all of BioTechs and Pharma if the Judge would make an example of this practice.
IMO
