A ten thousand banger is impossible, each share is only worth 6,000 cents...would require a buy in of less than one penny per share...
Up 3000% from when I started, what's your point?
where variable 'Long Term' is defined as 46 days
The constellation deal changed the book value of each share, adding approx $13 cash to every after deal share. The underlying EQUITY was increased per share. (Goes to $20 per share if first tranche of warrants are exercised) This was not a market event but a business deal.
The market reacts, 'underlying market value'???...
With the big dig you can just drive right under Boston, which is good
lol, Laconia, did a lot of drugs in Laconia....I too have played that machine, grew up in Merrimack and Nashua...I would recommend the Premium Outlets in Merrimack for shopping - definitely the best place around to spend money, and the Budweiser brewery is like right down the street and they got the Clydesdales and beer obviously and its free and right off the interstate....
you are just so lucky to be in New Hampshire, whatever you do, stay away from Massachusetts!
Oh, the stock split is a dividend - I see, they take my equity, chop it in half and give me back both pieces - they ought to give themselves a bonus for being such great managers of capital!
Thanks for explaining
yeah, you are right....i got people I know that talk to me about starting investing with $100, and I don't know what to say to them......
just stopped in to say I cannot stop looking at the stock price, already checked it premarket, and just now today - looking great, no one is getting any of my shares south of 67, i can tell you that.
thank you, i am done...for now and I don't know for how long, but no more trades, no more ihub, i don't even want to know the price of the stock anymore....it will be here when I need it, got to do something else....seems this investing thing is one of the only things in my life I have figured out, now it is time to enjoy the success
can't believe how much time I just wasted writing about a damn hypothetical dividend and a split, i don't know what the hell I am talking about - that is the only thing I am sure of
you are absolutely right, but to say that somehow it will effect your share of dividends is letting psychology run amok in my opinion. Stock split might effect market capitalization and I must admit that is important, especially for a corporation that is in need of further financing.
But for a mature, dividend paying corporation a stock split would be even more meaningless because there is by definition no reason to raise more money, decreasing the importance of market capitalization.
Stock split doesn't effect revenues, expenses, taxes - it doesn't trickle down to earnings in anyway, it wouldn't effect the percentage of earnings a corporation would want to set aside for investing or share buy backs or dividend payouts...
I just can't see an argument for how a stock split is going to get your more dividends, except to say that if the market capitalization improves because of the stock split they will be able to finance future growth at better terms which should eventually trickle down to earnings and a dividend payout might be better or faster for it.
i am done, wtf am i doing?
Take a vacation to Venezuela and trade in some dollars for their local currency - you'll be in heaven - have literal truck loads of money, moving it will be the hard part
the true silver lining in a stock split is the idea that the market might actually be manipulated....that the market capitalization of the corporation goes up (even if there is no 'good' reason for it) - This is an example of a market inefficiency and therein lies a potential for profit
a stock split serves the traders, analysts, value investors - anyone that is taking a clear headed approach to this, it has the potential to benefit anyone that can see clearly that two $5's is no better than a $10
i guess, given enough time and financing, increased market capitalization does help a corporation, especially one that has need for more capital - i guess eventually it helps out the buy and holder...
just don', not you....you have been here too long, don't go stupid on me - splitting up shares does nothing to your equity in the corporation or the percentage of dividends they put out....
there is only one reason, and one reason only - to split a stock that sells for $50 - $60 bucks - it is an attempt at market manipulation....the idea that someone would judge a stock based on it's price per share instead of it's true market cap....
look, it is just ridiculous, except apparently it works, relatively speaking - two companies worth the same....like 100 million value suppose, well i guess the idea is a retail investor would see greater potential for returns on investment if there were 100 million shares outstanding and they all sell for $1, instead of there being 1 million shares outstanding and they going for $100. We know mathematically that it is the same damn thing....$100 buys you the same amount of equity, you have the same percentage of dividends in both scenarios
I can't wait - when bruce cuts our shares in half and announces to the world there is a two for one special going on, just think of all the dumbasses we can attract to the stock this way
all I am holding now is WEED, well that and $450 because I made $1000 today and was too lazy to do the math on the buy back so I just added 10 shares instead
its those institutions doing it, those beautiful bastards! They are shaking out the weak hands, accumulating, they are buying up the float, blah, blah, blah, money, money, money.....
its the growth, it is international, to the moon, interplanetary....
i just feel bad for all the people selling their shares, on the outside looking in....watching the train pull away....poor dumbasses is what they are, the shame they must feel, SHAME!
now I really got to stop or I am going to get into trouble....honestly I want to sell, but the price keeps dropping afterwards and I just have to buy again - it is not me doing it, it is the market
also it is because of the end of the crazy month....it is my performance, the chart is going to be sick, i want to lock it in, instead I just make it better....but I am crossing a threshold now, I got to stop...
too easy - 1000 shares, $1, good day
that is the beauty of the free market - a transaction only occurs when both parties are happy with the result
its a good point, but there has to come a time when that logic fails. The future growth is most definitely finite, and the farther in the future you look the larger the discount you must attribute it. At some point the juice is not worth the squeeze - and we know that the higher the price the more likely that point has past....
anyways for me it is worth it because I have other reasons, not market related, to get into cash at this time and I really appreciate the share price as it is
let me tell you - this weekend was crazy anxiety the entire way....had like 70% cash, then Monday morning comes and the market wants more - i give it to them at the open.....
then yesterday, thank you very much, then this morning it goes right back to where I started.....
definitely I jus had the best week of my year so far...what a year, what a week
sometimes, when I don't like the price, I roll a joint and smoke it....actually I do that when i like the price too, not sure how that helps anyone....
could be a lil' overbought in my opinion.....too much, too fast....its the warrants - warrants have ridiculous value....just my opinion....if these institutions really want all my shares they don't have to go much further to get them today, that is for sure.
To all the new people.....there has gots to be new people here in lala land $59!!! You all crazy???? You call that investing???? Where you think this is gonna go, why?
I mean we are looking at a fully diluted market cap of over $25 billion - have you seen the revenues - ooh, wow, Canada is going to legalize - $25 billion is like $1000 for every Canadian that could possibly buy our products...
I don't know, this is crazy, I don't know how to value a corporation, but this is nuts.....anyone here have a good example of a boring money making $25 billion dollar corporation to compare?
just i don't get it, why the price goes up past $48 so fast, only one small pullback - then it goes up to $62 on massive volume - pinched the tip, fine, was hoping for that
but it drops to $53 and goes back to $59? Volume not so hot this time.....
I just don't get it, I let 1000 shares go - i wasn't expecting an opportunity at all, really don't understand what is happening, extremely happy with my investment performance so far....
just feeling this is over bought, i mean really, where do we go from here, and why would we deserve it???? How do you justify buying on a day like today? Lots of volatility here, nice place to place a bet just for the action I guess, I don't know
i see what is happening, but I just don't believe it, have we entered some other universe? This just can't be real....I cannot believe we are over 58 right now - i got two women now....which may be too much but one was definitely not enough, so I know I am getting closer to an ideal situation there...all and all things are good
I think there is one, and only one way, that you could be sitting on what you are sitting on.....you got to be a buy and hold god....I don't know how you do it, seriously......i am convinced you will be watching this ticker on your death bed, accumulating with your pension or whatever
thank you! Your demand for these securities helped me make money and I really appreciate it
there is no way this will open at $59 Cad, because that would be too perfect
Ihub takes away one of the most prominent technical analysts files the same day that this drops 11%? This can't be a coincidence!
what are you doing? Ihub files?
in some small way my trading positively contributed to price discovery and I was rewarded in direct proportion to my contribution. This is the way of the free market.
I really have to stop now, I have been lucky...I got what I need now for legalization.....I got what I need for legalization, going to stop it now and see what happens
still it is pretty dope, I made a $193,000 purchase this morning....the biggest decision I have ever made, that is something
I am happy, for certain it is only momentarily, i already thinking I want more, but it is still pretty cool
that is good - I say my gain was serious - amounted to about 3.5% of my total portfolio, Friday to Tuesday.
anyone here know how many shares 7,807.95 CAD in trading profits will buy you this morning?
turns out that much free money buys about 140 shares, in case you were wondering
glorious, absolutely glorious!
The price goes down, but I swear I got some of that $62.31 money, I got a bunch of that $59 money, and more of that $58 money
I love it, I was sure and certain that that leg up was too much too soon, and I got paid
that was a quick $8k, and I put it all on WEED - I just accumulated some, no profit taking here, just some tip pinching
if this thing opens significantly under 57 then I officially pinched that tip good
The RSI is a meaningless number between 0 and 100 i think, apparently it is some measure of trades gone by, a nice rear view mirror at best
