I have no problem with traders or shorts, even though that is not my strategy. I invent in brands and companies I believe in and have reaped great rewards across many industries by doing so. What is bothersome are disingenuous comments and posts obviously meant to support the trading strategy rather than make fair and accurate statements about CGC or the legal cannabis industry. Some on this board behave like paid lobbyists for the blackmarket. The agenda-driven comments are easy to spot, but the moderatos don't seem to care.
Awful advice for sure. The big dogs only suffer through lunch so they can chew you up and spit you out afterwards. Go CGC!
Where is the business logic or set of facts to support your assertion? Are you saying that Budweiser can’t make it as a business because a craft brewer can open up shop down the street? (or that Constellation can’t make it as a global company either, to be more direct.) Take the negativity away and find an investment you can believe in. Find your happy place and take Doomed/Awesome with you. Meanwhile, go CGC!
Knowing your dope is different from knowing money. This is the stock market, not the black market. BTW, to borrow your handle –it's the black market that is DOOMED. Once politicians get the scent of money it's all over for the bootleggers. The centuries-old history of sin taxes proves this over and over. It's all over now, baby black (sic Dylan).
Okay, Issac Newton. But some of us are up because we made early decisions on a new industry, buying real shares. That’s different from late buying wannabe short bets that require constant down talking. BTW, if you really think doing that on this board will move sentiment you must be just as overmedicated as Awesome/Doomed. GLTA! Just eight more days, go CGC!
Only eight days left until U.S. election. I remember watching TWMJF's share price in the run-up to and in the days after Trudeau's election. One of the chartists on this board could probably supply that history. My recollection is that much money was made on both sides of the border. This was just from the election, another big bump came with legislation being passed. Hold tight for a great ride!
Yes, Borys former prediction of $8 to $10 is now $15. Gotta problem with that? I don’t. Go CGC!
It get it; thanks for reading. He's all HYPE too. Go CGC!
Agreed. Furthermore, the irony of it is that with so many U.S. states on board, more on the way, and cases already moving through federal courts, there already is no justification for the DEA to illegally continue to stall on rescheduling. As the states go, so goes the U.S. Soon come!
There's a difference between a serious skeptic and a "serious sceptic," I think the latter has to do with disease or sewage. Canopy is a legit company playing the long game. Go CGC!
Canopy isn't desperate, they have plenty of cash. On the other hand, you do sound desperate. Go CGC!
Why do you call it "legalization hype" in Canada? Cannabis is now legal in Canada, so there's no hype to it at all. Many of us made great money by investing before rec became legal in Canada. I guess what you are saying is that your timing is bad and you missed out. The U.S. is already a legal market for CBD products and Canopy is already expanding there. BTW, whatever happened to your carping over and over that we'd see CGC fall to $8-$10 per share? Seems to me that you are creating a credibility problem for yourself. When you are in a hole, it's best to stop digging. Go CGC!
So what’s it like to be stuck in a rut? A great piece of advice, “When you are in a hole, stop digging!” Go CGC!
Well damn! I was just wondering where you were, obviously needed to p!$$ on an up day. Don’t you think that your “lovely cow” will soon kick you in the head? Wait, I think that’s already happened! Go CGC!
Well yeah! I expect it to continue on and through the elections. Surprised that Borys isn’t carping about earnings as if they are released every day and nothing else ever feeds the short term volatility that he and other penny-wise traders hope to feed on. Go CGC! It’s not a new business, we all know it’s a BIG business!
Correction, $2 day. Not typical. Go CGC!
Excuse me, but another dollar day isn’t typical. Tomorrow? Who knows? Go CGC!
I think the NJ referendum will really make a difference. It's a big state with adjacency to NYC. I forget what The NY Times article said exactly, but something like 20% of the U.S. population will have easy access to state-legal recreational, once this passes. That's way past Malcolm Gladwell's tipping point. Onward and upward! Go CGC!
Hellya! I’ll take dollar days anytime! Go CGC!
In the New Jersey constitutional referendum passes in November, and polls show more that 60% support, then the floodgates will open. This will be the biggest upside event since legalization in Canada. Go CGC!
Very nice gain on low volume. It would be nice to see dollar days again. I remember clearly what it was like when what is now CGC was approaching $1 and I had a 40% loss for an extended period of time. Patience was a virtue then. I believe that patience is also a virtue now.
Are such producers just clearing old inventory? Can they keep legally producing at this volume? From watching Trailer Park Boys, I'd say that all those kilos won't last long in Canada! The future is up in smoke!
Awash, yes but how long does that last? Patience grasshopper, patience.
What? Chartists never need anything but past performance to extrapolate the future. Have your technical skills come up short or are you just using your headline to indicate an opinion on your sentiment? Technical traders aren't supposed to be sentimental. Are you going soft or just trying to acquire some new skills? CGC is doing great. It just requires patience.
I’ll take “One more time...” at face value. No more stuttering the same tired gibberish from here on. Thanks!
If after all your negative sentiment, one positive post can even be believed, many of us longs have made much more off of 10x smaller investments. Better to be long than short, kind of like saying, “I’d rather be smart than lucky.” Good for your luck, but sorry you aren’t smart. Keep playing your negative game, it is very transparent. Longs see through it all.
Wow! Borys negative sentiment must really be moving the market. Genius!
Ho hum... ZZZ....
Martha Stewart, Blissed Out on CBD, Is Doing Just Fine

Top line numbers do indeed show CGG’s sales are “expansive.” There must be plenty of “nobodies.” Keep drinking that moonshine! If a bad short bet wasn’t enough, keep clinging to your black market before it is gone.
Interesting. Looks like the Dutch May finally be legalizing how product gets through the back door of the coffeehouse. One day, we’ll just be telling stories about what it was like to fly to The ‘Dam for the weekend and visit Amnesia. More and more the offer of that kind of experience is spreading across the continent.
Regardless of earnings, CGC isn’t paying you a dividend. Shouldn’t you really be more concerned about stock price appreciation? Oh, that is unless you made a bad short bet and have an even shorter runway to avoid making good on it. Keep drinking the bad moonshine.
That’s what it’s taken so far, why not? Constellation, Snoop, even Martha Stewart, I suppose you think that are all dummies compared to your business sense. Go CGC!
No. There are many, many of us who already have strong gains in CGC. You made a bad short bet and naively seem to think that you can manipulate institutional sentiment by saying the same negative things over and over on this thinly followed retail message board. The only thing that is clear is that you made a bad short bet and cannot emotionally walk away from your losses. Bad and sad. Time to move. CGC is a strong performer in its sector. Your long predicted fall to $8 or $10 just isn’t going to happen.
Interesting. It does make sense to just let the black market fade into history versus using mass incarceration to accelerate tax collections. Sounds like Canada is taking a very humane approach. To some degree, I think the U.S. may be less consciously doing much the same in recreational states. The cost to the U.S. of having the highest incarceration rate in the world has just been too much, both in money and other social costs, not to mention the gross inhumanity of it all.
Good luck with that. Sorry about your big (?) bad (for sure) short bet. Nobody wants untested uncertified black market poison when legal alternatives are readily available. Still buying moonshine?
Yes, that's what I heard and what I remember. I'm glad you are keeping the facts out straight and steering us away from the fake news lane. Go CGC!
Yes, also heard this story on public radio yesterday. CBD is finding new uses everyday. Go CGC!
“Each way to make money is okay as long as it is done by law”
*****
This coming from a black market cheerleader, hard to believe anything that’s said.
Yes, that makes your biased comments very clear. Good luck on a bet that rests on others taking a loss for you to win. Nice guy. CGC is part of a rising tide that will float many boats, except for those who hope to profit from others’ losses. This is a developing industry, not a zero sum game.
