Implying close to 3,000 meh posts???
I would tend to agree. Also think that BP will exhaust all non-autologous alternatives before they look to team with autologous products like DC VAX. And BP has been busy weeding out alternatives.
Thanks. As a MRK shareholder I sure hope they eventually find a combination that improves the targeting of the immune system. As the unrestrained immune system repeatedly results in the grade 3 to 5 adverse events as seen in this trial. As a NWBO shareholder I hope trials with the combination L improves immune targeting.
Agree with the others regarding your post regarding Flaskworks as it potentially having on site placement in hospitals in the distant future.
See the MiG jets have become a hot potato. Here’s a thought I’d like to think somebody within NATO has thought of this in the NATO spirit of one for all, and all for one. Poland has 29 jets there are 30 NATO members have Poland give one each to the 29 other members. And then those members can each individually transfer them to Ukraine even if done symbolically. Would like to see NATO man up and get this done sooner than later.
Albeit the Patriot missile systems will be more effective to what is hammering much of Ukraine and go a long way towards making the air space un-flyable for Russia.
Soulless short dude who suffers from the double whammy of not being very tall either……their over compensation (yachtsmen)* tend to wear on us all leading to being Tuckered out.
*purely gender reference not exposing any any character qualities normally associated with being a “man”
From the movie The Hunt for Red October (paraphrasing): How do you get sailors to want to get off a submarine… How do you get sailors to want to get off a nuclear submarine?
Both sides are negotiating for evacuation corridors (convenient?)……Perhaps they could also agree that nuclear power plants are off-limits. Surely they know after Chernobyl which way the wind blows???
Agree, this news will cause some fallout (pun intended) in the market.
Thanks. Probably one of the better vehicles geared to a targeted audience to create awareness for the specials program.
I was expecting at least a weak Elizabeth Holmes (straw woman argument) linkage to add to the effluent incitefullness.
At exactly what level and where were women committing fraud at Enron??? Please help level the playing field for us all.
Nice work. Predicting IDH mutation status should have it’s uses predictably (pun intended).
Cool….thanks once again.
Saw the news. Haven’t read a lot of posts. But I suspect if they have a backlog for the specials program that could be a follow up PR by NWBO (reimbursement aside if they have the backlog that’s what I would do as the next baby step). And certainly would be welcomed by many….. And admittedly probably already speculated upon before I popped in.
Cool, thanks for the patent dd.
Cool, thanks. Is Cornell is a good school?
Appears he is on a tight leash and limited to re-posting things pertaining to NWBO that he scroungers up…..sad (for scooter)
But….but…..but, I have never sat through a PowerPoint presentation where the presenter shaded information about a competitor
89 - 4 last time……seems more than a few who gave the thumbs up last time went thumbs down this go around….and around…..and around. And so we go….
Probably had to buy a couple of vowels too.
No surprise. Poor attempt at humor on my part. Did not intend the pure Shakespearean connotation of victimization. But, more of the straight translation of You too a.k.a. me too. That’s on me.
Et tu Brute?
I was confirming your patent assertion. Made no claims about the UCLA combo trial I don’t have a dog in that fight. Certainly not making a strawman argument.
By the way welcome back too. I can understand taking a break. I’ve been posting less
Cool, and I was addressing the patent assertion portion. Also note dmb2 recently posted on the value of the layers of protection NWBO is achieving with the additional process patents added to their portfolio. Considering the number of times we achieved workarounds should add credence (if not already acknowledged) to the value of the additional layers. Process patterns were not normally part of the equation in my industry. Pursuing new technology, as NWBO is doing provides the opportunity to patent the process involved.
Thanks for the clarification.
Dr. Bala, We have a lot of patent expertise on this board. But, as a holder over 20 patents let me throw in my $0.02. The patent assertion Ex makes is absolutely correct. When you write the claims for your patent you want to make them as broad* as possible in order to claim (or in a sense block others) all adjacent IP pathways. As per Ex’s example.
*You can take the number of patents I hold and multiply it by more than 2X the number times we found workarounds on competitive patents that were too limited in scope. i.e. claims not broad enough
Gary, No shortage of sincerity on this board for many others have been touched in a similar way. Let me join the others in expressing my condolences as well.
Nice title, always a fan of the double entendre… Especially one followed up with the chops to back it up.
Yes, Flaskworks certainly mitigates risk and hence the trepidation for BP. And the latest Flaskworks Patent if applicable to “L” reflects some fine-tuning of the “sauce” imo. I’m hoping/betting they also have some trade secret fine tuning of “sauce” for both L and Direct but that’s me… if they do have have trade secrets in production processes for both L and Direct the automation (Flaskworks) and partial (that we know of) for Direct will make it easier to protect.
Also enjoyable to have some baseball references when many of us (U.S. and Canada) are enduring less than baseball like weather. On the flip side it is hockey season.
Agree with you response. Additionally: Also in the hope to have a one size fits all streamlined manufacturing approach which would suit BP more comfortably. There is trepidation (and there should be) in pivoting to personalized autologous produced therapies as its not their (BP) strong suit.
Good choice. I plan to go with Blanton’s with a nod of recognition to all.
Cool, thanks.
Nice to have yet another scientists view on the value of mRNA vaccines rather than the politically driven fear mongering that’s happened over last two years. In the not too distant future our flu vaccines will likely become mRNA which will likely eliminate the guesswork of having to formulate months ahead of time the vaccine for the upcoming flu season. And could be combined with the Covid vaccine which is also becoming more likely.
Well deserved honor for Dr. Liau and likely more to come. Cool.
Did not elude it……another good call.
Santa delivered some Blanton’s. Would like to follow as directed with the noted and suitable sub…..assuming the flask works (pun intended)
Methinks AF would be a bridge way way too far… like ivermectin* too far
*Unless treating parasitic maladies like river blindness.
Perhaps the proverbial
Thanks Sojo….
Agree (Boynton being in attendance would be a tell)
That explains Scooter’s absence. Say hello for us…
Edit: My bad he is indeed among us.
