This should be a $8 dollar stock by Xmas. Sigma does no wrong.
100k @ 0.11. Thx whoever donated
So many here hate the negativity, yet you preach how confident you are in Sigma. Wouldn't you want negativity to get more shares at a discount? I would, if I was convinced this is a home run. Or are you not that convinced?
Great post...points I've been trying to make last week before nukes came my way.
Are Sigmas leaders more passionate about their inventions, or making money? Don't have to answer, I already know it, and it's a big problem.
I understand what you are saying. My point is that Sigma failed to show value of their technology to the investor, sold themselves short. Poor salesmen, that's all.
Anyway I'm done here. Opposing player scoring touchdowns on your team isn't popular with your cheerleaders.
Good luck to all
I did read it...it starts with I think...speculation, you know.
Than that's what people need to say...we don't know, valid concern, end of message.
But rather it's flames, and link this link that and write 5 paragraphs to defend your point of view. Yet original question still hasn't been answered.
Like my warrant question...I get a long answer, others respond to them with great explanation, great answer yet the answer made no sense.
I like the tone ...first this stock is so amazing....now it's who invests 50k in a penny stock. Your lacking confidence yourself?
Yes GE production facility won't start without Sigma? If that is fact, this stock is a slam dunk. But if that is fact, investors would have poured in and sigma management wouldn't be selling their shares for 0.08 cents left and right. Problem with your statement is that you assume GE needs Sigms....but actually they will move forward with or without Sigma. If Sigma works, it's a nice luxury to have...if it doesn't. Or delayed they will continue without them.
I invested my money long ago...my concerns are from recent developments or lack of. I do my dd, but even more as time goes on.
I'm rambling...but you can't give me legitimate answers can you? Validating my concerns.
It will be delayed, I'd bet money on it. I don't buy what Sigma is preaching because it makes no sense. Some of you acknowledge how complex and sensitive this is.
Companies spend hundreds of millions on research developing a product, Sigma is trying to do it with 2 people?
Activision Blizzard, started in 2008 working on secret project -TiTAN, new mmo to replace world of Warcraft. Using 100 best coders, designers and artists around the globe. Expected release was late 2012. Not only were they delayed, but scrapped the entire project and started over with no end in sight. This happens over and over with some of the best companies in the world.
You believe commercialization will happen soon? Don't be so sure. Not with 2 employees and some pocket change. And yes I know their history...worked on this for years, so what's another 4-5...and more dilution.
Btw...I'm not counting commercialization if Sigma comes out and say we got a contract for 2 PR3Ds.
I'm aware what a warrant is. Not sure my question was answered. They got the money in January, why extend it in May. You said to keep investor interested? In what..they already got the capital in Jan. warrant is there to benefit the investor not the company.
You said cause timeline was delayed? I'm sorry can I get a refund on my 0.20s I bought cause of delay.
That move was completely unnecessary by Sigma. This goes back to my point that Sigmas leaders are very poor businessmen who failed to sell the value of their product. Or they got max they could.
If P3RD is truly groundbreaking...investors would pour in just to get a piece.
Investors poured into twitter well before it was monetized. 100s of millions of dollars well before it went public. Same went for Pinterest ...who isn't public yet. And 100s of other companies.
I'm holding, it will be interesting to find out what happens, but I think this is far closer to a lab experiment at this point than a product. Just like the pharma with an incredible cure idea who is still trying to make it work 10 years later. I know of one..ARIA, pulled the plug after 3 years of waiting...7 years later, still at same price.
I truly believe they will succeed one day....let's hope it's not 2020.
Now that's good. I'm so using that.
Be specific...what was specifically out of line lately?
Thank you. I feel supported. That's exactly what a message board should be like.
Warrant question. Why did Sigma extend it? It is to their and our best interest to let it expire if Sigma believes they are close to commercialization.
Commercialization potentially is a big pps increase and I'd imagine above 0.15 at which the warrant was issued. Essentially if they hold true to their word on commercialization they are giving Rockwell free money and dilution to us.
I see no benefit here unless we won't commercialize anytime soon.
Thank you for your post. Yes I saw some week hands exit, more for the rest. I never rush into buying or selling before all my questions are answer and concerns addressed. I make my decisions when im fully informed. Some here exited as soon as they sensed negativity, while I prefer to investigate it before decisions are made.
Thank you all for bringing more clarity to the situation. I hope we can all gain more as time goes on.
OK so we can safely conclude that software has been completed and going through testing part with GE, part with Honeywell.
GE at least is satisfied however issue remains with abundant data that needs to be consolidated in palatable form. Which is where Adurant comes in.
At the same time work with Materialise is being done to be able to integrate Sigmas technology with their software...essentially ensure compatibility.
If this is truly the case then I feel OK with the situation.
Sigmas business expertise is still suspect to me though.
I guess I just want to know where are we on the timeline. Is pr3d a bunch of wires with sensors, what exactly is it and where are we with it? And sounds to me most of don't exactly know. This goes back to my original point of lack of plan and communication from sigmas management in THE only product they are focusing on.
If we know what it was and where they are with it now...we can put reasonable assumptions together as to when it should be ready.
I'm more confused then ever.
I do have a question for some of you experts here on the company, as my knowledge isn't quite there.
I can't seem to find any detail on who developed the PR3D software. Did they contract with someone to get it developed? Anyone know?
Impression I'm getting is that it's completed, they just have to quantify the data which is why they engaged Adurant.
Reason I'm asking, is I'm trying to project a timeline when this can be commercialized.
I don't sell. Especially at a lower end of pps of any stock. And for the rest of you, #1 rule of investing is never go all in the first time. I employ a 10/20/20/50 rule, rarely do I fire the 4th.
Always invest in phases, always. Unless you are 100% convinced this is going up immediately. This is good practice, and allows you incredible offensive power to cost average. Especially in my form, where if the stock goes lower, my bullets get stronger.
I set aside, about $100K to invest in this stock.
I fired my first bullet and invested $10K (10%) at .21 cents or so. Second bullet of $20K (20%) was fired at around 0.15 cents. Third bullet of 20K (20%) was fired between .105-.11 cents. Saving my last bullet of $50K (if needed) when/if this dips down to 0.05-0.07 cents, assuming my current concerns are addressed, and story is still in tact.
If I was right the first time and this went way up, so what I win. Never go back and say "I wish I invested more", that is greed. For everyone of those " I wish I did" there are 2 "I wish I didn't".
Disciple, leave emotions out of it. You get emotional, you will always lose in the long run.
I do my initial DD, but I do even more work afterwards, looking for any possible red flag.
Good Luck to you all.
I raised a lot if negative concerns. Yet I'm not an emotional investor that reads one bad thing or one good thing and jump either direction. Ive probably been one of the most negative people here over last week or so, yet every single share I own is still here.. last I checked.
I also doubt people here are exiting, pps would have reflected that if we had a mass exit.
I just want us as shareholders to hold sigma accountable. I don't want us to be some cult praising sigma every second. We as shareholders should always keep an eye out for our investments and challenge sigmas management. Cola and Vivek should be operating under high pressure and scrutiny at all times, rather than us waving our pom poms at them.
We are the boss, not them. We pay their salary.
On the lighter side of things, technical are strengthening and looking ok. Need to hold here and climb the lower trend line back up to 0.118. If that happens, then the wedge will be slightly bullish again and maybe salvageable. But your looking at least 3-4 trading sessions for that confirmation.
The bad...right now, as of this moment, the upper trend line is at 0.12, while the lower is at 0.113. Point is, stock is trading at the low end of the wedge rather than top end and is at a greater risk of breaking back down.
Fortunately, the indicators such as RSI, Stochastic are all positive now, MACD is neutral to slightly negative.
In summary, first thing to look for is if we can get back to the 0.118 mark.
As always, PR and significant news events always trump technical.
No it's not. It's a public shareholders meeting, rather than some secret society gathering exchanging secrets.
As a matter of a fact, I've been in shareholder meetings, conference calls etc for CSCO, GE and ATVI for over 5 years each, some as long as 10 years. Fore big companies, you don't even have to record it, it's recorded for you as it happens and saved on their website for anyone to access at future dates.
Yes he does care, otherwise he wouldn't have taken it. He would have said " if I take this it will send the wrong message, considering we haven't dine anything to increase shareholder value"
He ABSOLUTELY cares.
Great points. Ive been ata comoany where 5/7 board members were employees...thr ceo, cfo, coo and a couple of VPs. It was a mess, they went unchecked and did what they wanted. No accountability.
At this point is Sigma a lab, a scientist playground, or are they truly a business committed to increasing shareholder value.
And yes I have almost 50k invested in this and held for over a year.
Dropped consulting to focus on PR3D and start a manufacturing facility?
Second problem is that we can't wait. Being well capitalized and not taking unnecessary 175k bonuses to fund a car hobby is key.
Dead money is my pet pieve. Would rather take a loss today than wait 5 years for commercialization.
Third, as any poor executive I've seen, sigmas doesn't have a clear cut well thought out plan. First its munitions, then its dental implants, then pr3d with consulting, then pr3d, now pr3d with a manufacturing facility. ... I'm getting a headache.
Sigma formulates a plan as they go. This is poor management.
That means nothing. Sigma has been in contact with almost every manufacturer from planet Earth to planet Kronos in another galaxy.
So many contacts, so little to show for.
Show me the money.
I'm planning on being there. 300 dollar ticket is worth the cost knowing what my 50k investment is going towards. And I plan to ask questions to address my concerns. I'm bringing my BS meter too.
Your about 4 hours late. We have already read it, discussed it in detail.
If you check in tomorrow, you might in for another nice surprise.
I posted a few days ago that the bullish wedge is breaking down. Long term view this is still holding above the trend line.
The way a wedge works (for those that don't know) is that the pps bounces within the wedge and becomes less and less volatile as it approaches the corner of the wedge. At that point stock either breaks up or down, but since it's a bullish wedge it should shoot up.
However, that didn't happen. On 8/14 (few days ago) first time we actually dipped below the wedge, (red flag) and continued to trade below the wedge since. (look at the price action below the lower pink line) Now we can reset the wedge (look at the teal line added), however that isn't a bullish wedge anymore, but rather just a wedge. Next 4-5 trading sessions, we could expect that the pps will reach the new corner of the wedge in which the price should either break up or down again. But this time, it's really is 50/50 that it goes up, while before it was probably 70/30.
Just my view, no emotions attached.
See the pic I attached below. (sorry if a bit blurry)
World is ending.
Thank you Jackle that was the only thing I can think of...their refusal to cooperate if there was a takeover.
We wait and see.
It indeed is, but Enviro, I still don't see how Sigma is protected. So what if they are working with different companies on different components. As I stated before, its now GE working with Honeywell.
Only thing that can happen is that Cola and Vivek simply play hardball and say if you proceed with this, we will not work for you and you don't have the expertise to complete it without us. However, that is probably unlikely as they will cash in millions from a buyout alone, and have major roles at GE or whoever takes them over.
Jackle, thank you those are all excellent points especially about DEFORM/Honeywell.
I think being able to see the details of the JTDA with each company would answer almost all questions some of us have, but we will never see the details at this point.
Only thing I still don't see is how Sigma can protect themselves against a takeover considering they are 100% exposed. If someone wants to take them over, they can. It would end up being a DEFORM & GE relationship with Honeywell not DEFORM and Sigma.
As you stated, which I fully hope for and support is that Sigma has indeed protected themselves better than they look.
