Wonder what is the MATERIAL for the Fabric Strands?

Note the Octo Cavity. 16 CAMERA HOLDER in one shot. Not Bad Aye...
For those who think GlassiMetal RDK pancake machine is cool. While they can spit out at less than a minute rate, they can only do 80 grams.
In comparison, Eon 500c machine can spit out 500 grams in 90 seconds. Never mind, they also have the 1000c machine.
Well.....Engel machine can spit out 200 grams in 3 minutes. Go figure it out......
Note the Net Shape finish (non degate) has no diecast "stress" mark.
For those who were in the open house, Eon machine output (with dc-105s) did have diecast "stress" mark.
This is magic of 106c and the complimentary "flash freeze" process within the "vacuum environment". Truly one step finish (per BB). This is why LQMT said patent (for the recipe) alone has no meaning. Nobody can replicate the "process".
BTW, this is not part of CIP.
Base on what???
Base on FULL MATURE COMMERCIALIZATION of being Next Generation ALLOY
Only in that scenario, PURCHASING MANAGER of high margin mature product will take the risk of change over just to save $10 out of a $6000 product
LQMT investment (not trading) is more like angel round waiting for an IPO.
Read the full message of my take. Not just on one single number.
Anyone who understand S Curve will understand following:
penny to $5 (nasdaq)......VERY improbable but POSSIBLE
$5 to $100........relatively much more probable (many example to name)
$100 to $20.......very likely
$20 to $100 AGAIN......not likely but has happened (to a few)

I standby my complete message
Thanks for your ADVICE.
Decide for yourself
To be fair, Airport grade Aluminum will be strong enough (for 6.1") to avoid bend gate (due to flat edge vs curve)
To be fair, Airport grade Aluminum will be RF good enough for sub Ghz pseudo 5G.
With that being said, Airport grade Aluminum CAN BE EXPENSIVE if Apple choose to use same process with iPhone 5. It will be more expensive than iPhone 5 due to Hardness of Airport grade aluminum, hence CNC Grind Bit life cycle shrink.
Airport grade Aluminum IS NOT CHEAP, BUT IT IS READILY AVAILABLE

Lugee has been in the loop since 2014
You mean like PH.
Apple order (if happen) does not go through the maze 1.0
So why wasn’t BMG being used in iPhone X then.....
It can not fulfill the “mirror finish” spec upon “one step process”. Rework/Polish (ultra hard) BMG is very time and $ costly.
Note LM105 was not the material used then.
So what change.......
BB told us 106c has the same great finish.
Quality is meeting the spec (customer satisfaction)
While it might or might not matter for Pacemaker, it does matter in cell phone.
SS MIM failed to meet “flatness” spec due to (low tolerance) shrinkage. As a result, cherry picking took place. Low yield translates into cost and availability issue.
MIM does have (up to) 20% shrink rate upon BAKE.
Does it matter?
“certainly no where close to the .008mm tolerances of parts made with liquidmetal IM”
When compare to MIM.....
Rather than “leg up”,
is it “overkill”?
The day that a high margin customer hunts for slim increase of profit without FEAR of AVAILABILITY.
LQMT will be at $100 PPS.
Perhaps “precision” is a better way to characterize the need (or not) for any given product
Rough or smooth are both forms of finish.
Matt finish is equally hard to create than mirror finish. To the human eye and finger sense, we can tell the imperfection.
For cell phone, it is part of the esthetic requirement.
With that being said, what type of precision does medical implant devices require?
If BMG can satisfy a better requirement than MIM, then we have a leg up.
QUALITY is meeting customer EXPECTATIONS
OH participants will tell you that there was medical “package” deal on the table.
SS MIM + AMM
BB told us that they did manage to deliver MIM prototype order with domestic 3rd party MIM house
Perhaps this might be ITTTTTTT......in addition to martin pins
BTW, Yihao has plenty of MIM machines to fulfill SS MIM order.
Not sure why implant device needs smooth finish.
One does need to bake the raw cookie dough off the MIM machine.
It is the very MIM Oven that triggers the need for power upgrade in LF.
Medical customer DID not accept AMM as solution for ME TOO product simply based on WHY change (even at lower cost). Keep in mind Pacemaker cost $5000 while the enclosure case is only $50.
Yes, PH did not succeed in supplant MIM for ME TOO product. PH should know much better with his MIM background.
MRI driven surgical robot......now we are talking for ME ONLY.
From my ink
Here's what we know
LIQUIDMETAL HAS BEEN ADOPTED BY NUMBER TWO CELL PHONE MAKER
Eon targeted 65 machines for end of 2019.
LQMT Sales Flyer stated 90 machines for end of 2019.
There is a delta of 25 machines (targeted for LQMT).
If we were informed from LQMT executives of $50 millions annual revenue for 12 machines, then we can project $100 millions for 25 machines.
I, for one, will be delighted with that forecast (ALONG WITH RECURRING WORDING IN LATEST PR)
Does it really matter what industry(S) it came from?
Huawei adoption of BMG is enough of a message to all industry (followers INCLUDES APPLE) purchasing manager that their rear end is safe to sign off on the PO.
“hopefully by the new year they will have full power to run their estimated 12 machine capability. Which they were guesstimating, could produce approx 50 mill revenue at LF at full capacity.”
We fully understood the 12 machines never did happen in LF.
Will you still stand by statement (you relay) of “$50 millions revenue for 12 machines”?
Customer does not pay CM to buy machine
Recurring
Eon financial report
Asset includes capital which includes machines
To my understanding, most of 90 machines did not arrive within 2019
Follow the machines
This only reflects 60% of the picture
Eon ownership Is JV 60/40
1H 2020 reflects 70% jump and expect much bigger number on 2nd half (which will include LQMT business)
lock washer is a "short" spring
steel lock washer typically is a "one time" spring due to lack of "elasticity"
BMG has elasticity (return of form) of 1.6%. Check out the BMG money clip.
BMG lock washer hence can replace spring with much tighter gap space.
Spring typically has limited lifetime compress/decompress. This is why home button was the weak link in iphone for reliablity.
BMG can provide lifetime compress/decompress and this is why Apple consider BMG for home button.
Same argument can be made for foldable as hinge must handle life time flip flop.
Home Button vs Lock Washer
Question: How is the company's product development and production of LiquidMetal Lock Washers, and has it been sold in batches?
2020-08-20 12:35:08
Answer: Hello! Thank you for your interest in the company. EXPORT samples of LiquidMetal Lock Washers have been sampled and are ready for production. Thank you!
It is for “bear” minimum
This is why they have magnets in iPhone 12
That’s the FUN part in next two months.
It will be wavy.
Apple plans to induction charge via the display side (which is glass)
