Yes. I imagine that Lebby and company could say "something" that might provide a "bounce" in this short term panic period...but...they would fall into trap of what every other company tries to do to fight the manipulation...and mostly a losing battle. By simply staying the course and being true to their business plan, they will hugely reward their long term investors (who are unlikely IMO to be selling down here regardless). Temporary "on paper only" pain for long term (if you consider 1-6 months longterm!) gain.
Ha!...nice try. I suspect very few long term holders are selling a single share down here. Yes, there will likely be some dilution via conversion (assuming it is more than likely that $5.50 target will not be reached by February hurdle date)....but they will meet the bigger hurdle IMO for end of Q1 which would prevent more damaging dilution. In the end, their business will grow monumentally this year regardless.
Buying here...fully expect to see nice return within next 6 months...hopefully sooner vs. later.
I believe you raise a valid question here...my biggest concern in terms of how long this will take. If anyone can address this question with valid input that would be great! (I would hope that foundries are assisting expediting this process as much as possible?)
I don't necessarily believe "revenue rolling in" is the requirement. Announcement of a deal that provides confirmation of the scope/potential may indeed be plenty enough.
Great work M8Seven! Thanks. Connecting the dots. Wonder what current transaction volume (and margin contribution) is attributable to Gibraltar Exchange?
I do recall a GBOX connection to the Gibraltar Exchange in some of my past research...will go back and do some repeat digging.
Interesting. Thanks for posting. eom
If they exercised the full $100M shelf (already?)...does this also perhaps suggest that the company may be pursuing a path of exercising its ability/right to manufacture?...and wouldn't this give the company more leverage in terms of negotiating with partners...?
my pea brain agrees with your pea brain.
A guess only...
Lebby has mentioned JOINT pr with partner(s). The evasiveness of answers concerning revenue projections, etc. including during Oppenheimer Conference to me suggests that something is/was really close. Thinking today trading is part of whatever "it" is.
Yes. Watching Fox Business (Kudlow) last night. Indiana congressman was talking about requesting Billions additional $ for National Institute of Research for semi-conductor research. Hate to see too much reliance on government for things like this...too slow and far too bureaucratic...some ok. But let's allow private enterprise to continue to do its thing!
Excellent explainer of differentiation and direction...

With all the coming "big news" (acquisitions, Coyni, etc.) I suspect the temporary negative of yesterday's call ends quickly...and stock already beginning to reflect the same. I DO wish that GBOX would invest in beefing up its accounting/finance team...don't know whether that perhaps means replacing Ben Chung or supplementing, etc. There is a lot of accounting on the table with all these acquisitions, spinoffs, etc. and you want to have someone in place that conveys stability and control...not time for relative greenhorns.
Ben should read his portion of the presentation from a script (some CEOs do...while not as "authentic and confidence inspiring"...it is better than what was delivered yesterday). Should have said upfront that revenue/margin expectations were off but still coming with pending announcements and onboarding...and further place emphasis that the additional low risk business already on-boarded will give them further flexibility moving forward. Everything else then follows as a complete positive. If Ben Chung can't answer basic questions and learn to sound more polished, then get someone who can.
Great post! eom
Yes...I agree and understand. I was referring only to my own ratio of investment (in number of shares only) being 3:1 LWLG vs. POETF. Of course, actual current value ratio much, much higher LWLG vs. POETF given relative price of both stocks. Hopefully, both are long term winners...I believe they are.
Here. 3 to 1 in share count LWLG vs. POETF.
Very well stated! eom.
By "revenue" I assume you might mean "deal(s)". I say this because I am not so concerned about how soon they receive revenue...IMO, timing of revenue is a factor of many things which is best left in the hands of LWLG negotiators that makes the most sense for the company, future growth and shareholders. Simply announcing a deal is all that is required...sort of guessing that LWLG could announce a deal within in a few weeks if that is what they felt like they "MUST" do...my guess is that they are prudently working the best strategy to win the whole enchalada.
Thumbs up. Still confident we have a BIG WINNER long term here in LWLG. Going where few stocks have "gone before".
yes...I am aware. eom.
Probably should have been Spock. At least some scientific experiments and observations would happen. Kirk, meh, only looking for hot chicks.
Thinking you need to look beyond the announcement deeper. LWLG can use this "insurance" as a means of negotiating contracts from a position of greater strength. It means to me they are closer to moving forward with contracts/production agreements.
FYI, I know this was discussed previously, but I contacted Schwab and removed the "margin" feature from my account so that my shares could not be made available for loan. Schwab rep explained to me that although shares could not be loaned out if account was NOT making use of margin loan, they COULD be used if actually utilizing margin feature. Although I am not buying/selling on margin, I decided to remove margin feature from my account.
Interesting...Israeli company. And where are Ben/Fredi from?...same.
Hope you are right. Would hate to think they are competition!
Me thinks this is good for GBOX...

Understood. And thanks. eom
Thanks for the clarification. eom
Western Union, Moneygram, Sigue...who knows? I only guess Sigue because Ben Errez clearly knows Sigue CEO personally.
I also own considerable amount of shares and use Schwab. They have not approached me either on lending shares. (I have been approached by Schwab on another stock previously but it was a few years ago). That said, I asked a Schwab rep if they technically could "borrow" my shares without my "permission" (and interest that I would accrue)...he advised that Schwab "would likely not do that"...but he did not know whether they technically could or not. Frankly, I wondered if I should remove the margin feature on my account thinking that might further prevent any "borrowing" of shares. If someone is expert on this topic I would be interested in hearing response. FWIW, I would never willingly lend my shares regardless of interest rate to help out shorters in any way!
Agree. The question now is do we get tangible "big" news, insights early next week or just additional confirming signals. I am guessing more confirming signals...which is not bad at all...gives even more time for interest to build further (and price to rise) and bring others on board (both investors and LWLG potential business partners).
IMO, these events are of relatively minimal value any longer. It's a "nice to be recognized" kind of thing...that is at least a bit worthwhile in terms of building awareness...but not much more.
Wonder if GBOX might purchase Sigue? Recall, GBOX (Ben Errez, etc.) met with CEO of Sigue a few years back about partnering. They announced a partnership (recall picture following their meeting) but Ben later commented that GBOX tech/platform was already advanced considerably beyond Sigue and therefore not a complementary fit. That said, now GBOX looking for volume...and Sigue has locations/outlets throughout the world for money xfr. GBOX might buy their relationships/existing dealer relationships, etc....and do all processing faster and at lower cost. Thoughts?
Was thinking the same thing. Note Investor Conference presentation is virtual and Lebby presentation is at 7:00 AM EST on 13th.
Schwab...eom.
GBOX now being listed in my brokerage account as "Trades With Due Bills". Note below link for meaning of this:
Due Bill Definition
[Search domain investopedia.com] https://www.investopedia.com/terms/d/duebill.asp
A due bill is a financial instrument used to document and identify a stock seller's obligation to deliver a pending dividend to the stock's buyer. A due bill is also used when the stock's buyer is...
Lebby grins like the Cheshire cat. Hope/trust he's got the goods to back it all up. He clearly wants to create maximum thunder when he feels the timing is right...
