Hey LH ...
Did you see where he invited two military men and two barbers to lunch at a barbecue joint .. then left without paying the tab? Spent the majority of the time talking about how important barbers are to the country, it was reported.
What a maroon!
They (the left) don't want the military voting at all!
Illegals, yes. Military no!
You heard of the "Dogs and GIs Keep off the Grass" signs, right?
With this administration, it's "Military, Keep out of the Polls" signs.
Oh I know the mirror thing!
Not a pleasant sight ... LOL
You still got that big "S" on your chest? LOL
Happy B-Day my friend.
55 ain't old ... Hell, I'm reaching out with one hand and touching the 60 mark. And I still feel like I'm 25!
Exactly, michael ... they're accomplished liars alright.
So with the billions he is ripping off from the taxpayers .... I don't believe a $450 'hoax' is going to matter much, in the grand scheme of things.
If she didn't do it, she's done plenty of other stuff we don't even know about, to more than make up for this one little 'hoax'.
$450 would actually be giving her credit for 'conserving' ... compared to her normal 'high faluting' lifestyle.
That's the best story I have heard in a long while!
Jackson was probably 'tied up' somewhere with some young female staffer .... as it seems he is pretty much of the time! LOL
Yep, I kinda liked it!
Yes sir, exactly! Who says you aren't the sharpest knife in the drawer?

If you start with a cage containing five monkeys and inside the cage, hang a banana on a string from the top and then you place a set of stairs under the banana, before long a monkey will go to the stairs and climb toward the banana.
As soon as he touches the stairs, you spray all the other monkeys with cold water.
After a while another monkey makes an attempt with same result ... all the other monkeys are sprayed with cold water. Pretty soon when another monkey tries to climb the stairs, the other monkeys will try to prevent it.
Now, put the cold water away.
Remove one monkey from the cage and replace it with a new one.
The new monkey sees the banana and attempts to climb the stairs. To his shock, all of the other monkeys beat the crap out of him. After another attempt and attack, he knows that if he tries to climb the stairs he will be assaulted.
Next, remove another of the original five monkeys, replacing it with a new one.
The newcomer goes to the stairs and is attacked. The previous newcomer takes part in the punishment...... with enthusiasm, because he is now part of the "team".
Then, replace a third original monkey with a new one, followed by the fourth, then the fifth. Every time the newest monkey takes to the stairs he is attacked.
Now, the monkeys that are beating him up have no idea why they were not permitted to climb the stairs. Neither do they know why they are participating in the beating of the newest monkey.
Finally, having replaced all of the original monkeys, none of the remaining monkeys will have ever been sprayed with cold water. Nevertheless, not one of the monkeys will try to climb the stairway for the banana.
Why, you ask? Because in their minds...that is the way it has always been!
This, my friends, is how Congress operates... and this is why, from time to time:
ALL of the monkeys need to be REPLACED AT THE SAME TIME.
Really ! It always makes me laugh when I see a democrat pretending to be offended by something a Republican has done ... knowing that three days ago the democrat did something a lot more 'disrespectful'.
How does one spell hypocrite? L I B E R A L !!!!!
Committee votes to hold Eric Holder in contempt over Fast and Furious
..By Rachel Rose Hartman, Yahoo! News | The Ticket – 15 mins ago...
The House Oversight and Government Reform Committee on Wednesday voted to hold Attorney General Eric Holder in contempt of Congress despite a last-minute intervention by President Obama.
By a vote of 23 to 17 after nearly six hours of tense discussion, the bipartisan committee voted for contempt over the Justice Department's decision to withhold documents related to Operation Fast and Furious that were subpoenaed by the committee in their investigation of the failed gunwalking operation.
The votes were sharply divided along partisan lines with all Republicans voting for and all Democrats voting against contempt. The measure now moves to the full House for a vote.
Moments before the hearing, Holder, who was not present at the hearing, delivered a letter to committee chair Darrell Issa (R-Calif.) informing the committee that Obama exerted executive privilege to withhold the documents in question.
"Although we are deeply disappointed that the Committee appears intent on proceeding with a contempt vote, the Department remains willing to work with the Committee to reach a mutually satisfactory resolution of the outstanding issues," Deputy Attorney General James Cole wrote in a letter to Issa.
But the president's intervention did not stop Issa from proceeding with Wednesday's vote.
"This untimely assertion by the Justice Department falls short of any reason to delay today's proceedings," Issa said prior to the vote.
Many committee members Wednesday invoked the name of Brian Terry, a border patrol agent killed in Dec. 2010. At the scene of that crime, guns sold in the Fast and Furious operation were recovered. The operation overall was designed to track firearm sales from the United States to Mexican drug cartels, but the government lost track of a majority of the guns sold in the operation.
"Remember the promises that were made in this room to Terry's family. We would not rest until we got to the bottom of this," Rep. Blake Farenthold (R-Tex.) said Wednesday.
"Have the guts, I hope we have the guts and the perseverance to get to the bottom of this," Rep. Jason Chaffetz (R-Utah) said, encouraging the government to help get to the bottom of why Fast and Furious failed. "It's not about Attorney General Eric Holder, it's about the Justice Department and justice in America," he added, invoking Terry's name.
Just prior to the vote, Rep. Ann Marie Buerkle (R-N.Y.) read a statement released by Terry's family, which read, in part:
For more than 18 months we have been asking our federal government for justice and accountability. The documents sought by the House Oversight Committee and associated with Operation Fast and Furious should be produced and turned over to the committee. Our son lost his life protecting this nation, and it is very disappointing that we are now faced with an administration that seems more concerned with protecting themselves rather than revealing the truth behind Operation Fast and Furious.
Republicans in Congress have been leading the push to find out what the government knew about the operation and when and why the effort failed.
Issa and Holder met Tuesday night under the auspices of reaching an agreement that would potentially delay the contempt vote. But following the meeting, Issa said Holder merely confirmed the Justice Department would not be delivering the documents and that the vote would proceed as scheduled.
Holder accused Issa of playing politics.
"Given the extraordinary nature of the offer that we made and given the extraordinary way in which we have shared materials to date that I think we are actually involved more in political gamesmanship as opposed to trying to get the information they say they want," Holder said.
Discussion of Holder's contempt vote was sharply divided along partisan lines on the bipartisan committee Wednesday. Ranking Rep. Elijah Cummings of Maryland (D), defended Holder prior to the vote and accused Issa of refusing to compromise. "It seems to me you had no interest of resolving this issue," Cummings said to Issa.
Rep. Carolyn Maloney (D-N.Y.) said she was "offended personally" by Issa calling Holder a liar. "It's disrespectful," Maloney said. "Where have we degenerated to?" Maloney defended Holder, saying he is "prohibited by law from producing" the documents in question.
"I want to apologize to the American people for yet another show of 'gotcha politics' in this body," Rep. Jackie Speier (D-Calif.) stated.
But Republicans strongly disagreed.
"Thus far, the cooperation has not been forthcoming," Issa said of the Justice Department. "We and the American people need answers sooner, not later."
"Mr. Holder is either not telling the truth or he's grossly incompetent," Rep. Raul Labrador (R-Idaho) said Wednesday. Labrador once again called for Holder's resignation.
House Speaker John Boehner and Majority Leader Eric Cantor announced following Wednesday's vote that leadership plans to schedule the full House vote for the week of June 25.

So Holder says this is all just a politically motivated event.
Democrat congresspeople are defending Holder.
I guess Holder is partially right .. this event is political alright, and it is the democrats trying to play politics with it.
Nominee for ambassador to Iraq withdraws from consideration
From Ted Barrett. Kate Bolduan and Jessica Yellin, CNN
updated 6:27 PM EDT, Mon June 18, 2012
Washington (CNN) -- President Obama's embattled pick to be ambassador to Iraq withdrew his nomination Monday, a day before facing an uncertain vote in the Senate Foreign Relations Committee.
Brett McGurk came under fire from Republicans and some Democrats for a variety of complaints; most notably for what senators said was poor judgment when he used an official government e-mail account to exchange flirtatious e-mails with a Wall Street Journal reporter while the two were stationed in Baghdad in 2008. The two were later married.
In his resignation letter, McGurk said his withdrawal "is in the best interests of the country" because "Iraq urgently needs an ambassador."
"The most difficult part of this process," McGurk said, "was watching my wife become a part of it. She is the most precious thing in the world to me, and the depiction of our relationship has been both surreal and devastating. We have also witnessed real sacrifice and suffering in Iraq and know that nothing should be allowed to distract from the pressing work that must be done to build a better future there."
McGurk said he made the decision to withdraw Saturday and, in dramatic language, revealed it came as he was visiting the section in Arlington National Cemetery "where so many heroes of the Iraq and Afghanistan wars now rest in peace."
National Security Council spokesman Tommy Vietor issued a statement thanking McGurk for his years of service to the United States.
"He served two administrations, and his commitment to the national interest and to the mission was always clear," Vietor said. "He has proved himself to be a skilled diplomat willing to take on some of the toughest challenges at the toughest times in a difficult region. While we regret to see Brett withdraw his candidacy there is no doubt that he will be called on again to serve the country."
It was not clear if the Foreign Relations Committee would have approved McGurk. The committee is made up of 10 Democrats and 9 Republicans, and therefore, a single Democrat could have blocked McGurk's nomination if all Republicans voted against him.
At least two Democrats -- Ben Cardin of Maryland and Ben Casey of Pennsylvania -- said they had concerns about the nomination.
Six Republican members of the committee wrote the president last week urging him to withdraw McGurk's nomination because they said he lacked the management experience to run such a large embassy and because they say he "botched" negotiations over the Status of Forces agreement for post-war Iraq.
Of the controversial e-mails, the Republicans said: "The public release of information detailing unprofessional conduct demonstrates poor judgment and will affect the nominee's credibility in the country where he has been nominated to serve."
In the wake of the scandal, McGurk's wife, Gina Chong, resigned her position at the Wall Street Journal. In an e-mail to friends Friday, she said the e-mails she traded with McGurk "which were exposed just before Brett's confirmation hearing reflected flirtatious banter and nothing more."
"I feel like I have become collateral damage in this process," Chon wrote. "And, after witnessing all I have, I'm amazed that anyone would want to become a public official.

Wow ... just wow ... a country as involved with us and as important at the moment as is Iraq .... and Obozo (1) doesn't have an ambassador there and (2) can't even pick someone for the post who can get by the screening process.
Obozo should have had knowledge of the email scandal .. and that should have been sufficient reason to not nominate this guy. But, we can just about bet, Obozo arrogantly said, "That doesn't matter. They wouldn't dare turn down MY nomination". (You know, like the Supreme Court better NOT overturn my health care package?)
Now we will be without and ambassador to Iraq for several more months ... due to Obozo's failure.
Sort of funny how McGurk's wife, the 'other party' in the email scandal that is largely to blame for her hubby's withdrawing of his name, wants to become upset at the process ... rather than blaming her own actions. Typical demorat.
If either of these two folks was too naive to understand that anything they sent on government email WOULD be forever retained and reviewed ... it's probably better he withdrew.
More typical screw ups from Obozo!
Just one more reason the democrats are so jealous of Republican women!
You keep wishing Walk .... Anything is possible!
I spent a few months there in '74 and '76 ... back when Fort Ben Harrison was still there.
Leastwise I think it was Indy ... I was usually too drunk to really know ... or care!
We'd go to town in our uniforms, and never had to buy a drink all night. It was great!
Dang, did she have that smile stuffed and mounted?
That is the general idea, yes!
GN
It's probably about as close as you'll get!!!
LOL
Yes, but when quoting great orators, I like to be totally accurate! Dammit!
I doubt he was ever sober enough to find the polls ...
You are the eternal optimist K2 ...
LOL
Leave it to me to screw it up!
Heh Heh
Yes indeed. My former Primary Care Manager, (a Vietnam Vet who said he decided, while hugging the bottom of a rice paddy and getting shot at, that there must be a better way to make a living) has retired from his practice, and only working one day a week at an Urgent care facility.
Now this guy was one of those rare doctors who just 'connects' with people, and was probably my all time favorite family doctor I have ever had. He knew his stuff, had not a single conceited bone in his body, and would take time to chat about gardening, fishing, or whatever a patient's interests were, on every visit.
I asked him if his retirement had anything to do with "Obamacare" and he stated "It had everything to do with Obamacare". He explained briefly how Obamacare would virtually stop him from practicing any real medicine or making any care related decisions, and put this task on the shoulders of a 'board of bureaucratic bastards' (that's the old infantry man coming out! LOL) who had zero training in medicine, and whose main purpose was to guard the 'bottom line', and to hell with the patients.
Now, I don't feel we can afford to lose these good doctors, but they will go. And we will be at the mercy of 'money motivated death panels'.
If this guy doesn't get tossed out on his ear, come November, we're all in deep kimchi!
I can empathize ....
So I guess my description fits pretty well, if you took offense.
24point4 - but you aren't dealing with just any 'libs' here .... what you're dealing with are the completely extremist lefty libs who would rather die and go to hell than ever admit Obama is a totally incompetent screw up out to sell the country down the river, or that anything conservative is good for the country (of course, they don't believe in hell either, but just sayin'!)
Gret grub, POS .... 130000
What does Longhorn say? Damn rap music anyway~!
Sounds like this whole case was a comedy of errors from the get-go.
Like the old song says ..
"But that was yesterday, and yesterday's gone".
I wrote off the media a long time ago. They've more than proved their absolute worthlessness many times over.
Of course, so has congress, so I don't know what I'm expecting from them either.
Sympathy votes count just as much as any, I reckon.
Isn't it amazing how most opposition to Obama's 'dictatorial edicts' gets squashed before it has a chance to actually go anywhere?
My question .... where is congress? are they all asleep, or stoned somewhere, ignoring all this crap?
I don't particularly care for Beck but in this case he is on the money.
The guy now in the White House is truly making a mockery of the constitution, and the traditional way things have been done in this country.
The desire and will of the people mean absolutely nothing to this clown. He'll sell the country a chunk at a time for a vote.
Yeah, I know that's a stretch .... but I imagine it has happened! LOL
In most ways, yes.
Bush irritated me too, especially in the last term. But this guy is irritating 24/7/365 ... and he is downright anti-American.
Personally, to quote you, I believe Obama IS so incompetent, ignorant, and bumbling as to truly believe that his shocking decree today applies across-the-board to ALL Hispanics...as though they were a homogenous BLOC?
He is just that arrogant and narcissistic.
As he was when the reporter asked him to explain his decision. No one can question the Messiah!
I share your .. confusion and dizziness.
He should have been heckled. Understand he 'called down' a reporter who asked him multiple times to rationalize this new, latest pandering program.
Gee, the reported should have known ... Obama the messiah is NOT to be questioned by mere mortals!
