It isn't that far fetched to think that if we do indeed have some project developing in Colombia that it would be a j/v with another Canadian company that is already established there. I Mean..how else would they end up there anyway?
I think he's just trying to connect a Canadaian company with a Colombian operation. I do recall people saying something about Colombia but I can't remember if that was something that came from a tweet or pr or just a rumor.
Might be over 500 within the next 12 months
At least we know we get some kind of news or tweet or something in the morning. Weren't we guaranteed news before wed opening?
v nice close
I've been there, the locations are real. The food is good. The drinks are ok. They are making money.
Would be nice if we got annual report and audit.
They tend to request halts before big news is released, from what I recall.
Yup, we touched like 80 or 90 cents. I was holding then. If only I sold... Lol
Should get annual report within the next week or so.
probably not
Or Norwegian
Speak for yourself, I am not selling until I get at least $1 per share.
10k+ purchase order for multiple titles sounds pretty good to me.
Excellent Q&A, couldn't be happier with the company's outreach and engagement of shareholders at this time.
Mind at ease.
Definitely good to hear from a few people that AC is not the way I remember it. I know that they have been trying to revitalize I just didn't know if it happened or not.
Going to be in Vancouver/BC area for the next week, leaving in a few hours. There is a really cool place there called Storm Crow Alehouse (they are a similar concept, more bar oriented than family) - I encourage shareholders to check it out.
I would really like to see some Snakes locations with decor like they have. I go every time I'm in the city.
Check out the Alehouse to see the decor I'm talking about.
Living 15 mins from Newark, it's a bit of a risk I'd say. Real estate is cheap, hipsters are moving in but it's still industrial and on the "other side of the tracks" if you will. There are nice areas of Newark but I wouldn't want to live there.
The amount of money being poured into the Jersey City/Hoboken area is unbelievable. Brand new high rises right on the river, New bars and businesses everywhere.
I'm biased towards that area, if I had the means to open a business that's where it would be. The Holland tunnel is in Jersey city/Hoboken and there are ferry to take people across the river also. It's basically the more affordable Manhattan, but not really affordable lol.
Maybe I'll have to plan a trip down there. My mom was there recently with her husband and they had a great time.
You've alleviated most of my concerns, I'd still like to see a location closer to the city in Jersey.
Yea, I'm probably wrong then. Last time I was there I was kind of shocked at the state of the place but that was at the time when all the casinos were going under.
Either way, I trust our management to make good decisions.
I'll agree that Snakes is the kind of place that could help bring life back to a place like that...I just don't know if it is possible tbh man lol. Have you ever been?
Yea, I completely oppose opening in AC. I live in NJ and when I think of AC I think of heroin and prostitutes. The place is dirty. You go to a casino and don't leave the casino/hotel.
That said, haven't been there in a few years. I highly doubt they were able to revitalize the area so quickly though.
**EDIT** - Unless, of course, they were able to get into a casino somehow. That would be a great thing.
Grabbed one for myself last night.
Pretty obvious people are trying to hold this down.
Last trade at .119 but the ask is at .1174? Why?
I'm ready for our 2nd sweet 16 lol
I said .139 earlier but I think I meant .129
Don't have notes available and can't read charts well on my cell phone, not home. But I believe .129 should be next major resistance?
Next stop - .139
Yup, people have to remember that we are publishing these games and the margins are significantly higher than any other games being sold by us. Not to mention we also distribute...and sell retail...lol
AH is a company that makes games, a subsidiary of Wizards of The Coast. That is basically an advertisement by Snakes saying that night is dedicated to games made by that company, they will be focusing on Avalon Hills games.
Wizards makes Magic The Gathering, so it's a fairly popular brand.
Yea, that's not how this works. If it's weak it's not significant.
And I'll tell you right now, 1 hour into trading the volume is not all that weak.
Just got back from my local dispensary (New Jersey). I have developed some kind of relationship with the director of communications.
I asked her if they use ozone at all, she said she does not know but she will email her grow team and inquire.
Trying to plant some seeds of my own, if ya catch my drift.
We got a bunch of updates in a short period of time. The point of the q&a was to establish some kind of dialogue between shareholders and management.
We aren't supposed to get NEWS twice a week, we are getting questions answered - some simple, some maybe not.
The company is looking for a buyout, from what I understand.
I don't really think they care about the current pps, they know they own lithium and it's worth $$.
Could go down to sub penny and it wouldnt change the fundamentals. Hopefully that doesn't happen though, I'd like to get $1+ out of my shares
Let's close above .139 today, that would be great.
Small world, yea the place is still there but the name/owners have changed. Still a clam spot though, Biggie's Clam Bar.
I was pushing real hard for them to come to the Jersey City/Hoboken area. I would be surprised if that isn't where they are looking.
It's THE hip place to be and is less than 3 miles outside the city, right on river. Would be a big deal for us to open up there, anything in the area does well right now.
Either way, there is a lot of money and opportunities in Jersey, I'm excited for them to be coming here.
CNBC is reporting 80% discounts on almost all pot in California, due to mandatory testing about to take effect.
Demand for services is so high they say labs have seen a 10 fold increase in sales in the past 2 weeks.
Starting next week all pot sold in the state will have to be tested, as in the case in NJ already, but we have FAAARR less pot to test.
I know that my cable is out, I cannot get to Twitter or TDA but I can get to Schwab. Comcast's own sites are not loading properly, probably due to traffic.
I am in NJ and I have a buddy who's working out in Arizona. He started laughing when I messaged him saying he just got off the phone and it is nationwide.
When I call Comcast I'm told there are too many calls and they cannot take mine at the moment, they hang up. I was actually redirected to DISH for some reason.
Not completely relevant to AMFE but to all investors in the market. Just some info for y'all.
Like 50% of the U.S. has slow or not running internet at the moment, seems that all cable is out also. Reported to be Comcast, Verizon, and Century Link so far. Idk about any others but I imagine it could lead to some odd behavior in the markets.
Goes to show what a little communication can do for sentiment, imo.
I think this new monthly Q&A is a huge step in the right direction. When we look back in the years coming, we may just realize that the company was just very young. Roger is still feeling out this whole CEO thing, and he is doing well. I can't say I'd do any better, it's important that all feedback is received and can be even more important that said feedback is responded to.
