"Add an extra layer of security with Pre Boot Authentication
The pre-boot authentication can be enabled through the pre-installed Wave Embassy Trust Suite security software. Pre-Boot can be configured to require a password, smart card or fingerprint scan."
With earnings Thursday, it would be "opportune" to give us a bit of news tomorrow, no? Especially with a market follow through!
Player? at 1.25? eom:)
What is going on after hours? wild?eom:)
Tampa...see flyrod 160208:
"I recieved a reply to an email sent to steven yesterday...I mentioned the stock price and the placement....his reply was that sales will ultimaely drive valuation and that "we are now seeing the adoption by the enterprise".....he mentioned that he was in an airport waiting for a flight to three days of back to back customer meetings....stormin"
Snacks..1.19 x 1.20 now...
I still would like to believe SKS comment re; Share Price and Revenues was a hint..
since when AFTER PP's do we trade up 10% on no news, going into earnings?
So, 1.16 on volume...end of day?
News? Earnings Leak? Strategic "investments"?
Well, for the first time in a long time....
My timing "out" and "in" might prove to be fortuitous...
Over 100K on no news? in 3 minutes? :::))))
Snacks..no trades for over an hour..than "boom"!eom:)
Fullmoon.. Thanks for the fix!:)eom
Doma: EMEA; European Medicines Agency (See the link/paste)
http://www.emea.europa.eu/htms/aboutus/emeaoverview.htm
European Medicines Agency
The European Medicines Agency (EMEA) is a decentralised body of the European Union with headquarters in London.
Its main responsibility is the protection and promotion of public and animal health, through the evaluation and supervision of medicines for human and veterinary use.
The EMEA is responsible for the scientific evaluation of applications for European marketing authorisation for medicinal products (centralised procedure). Under the centralised procedure, companies submit one single marketing authorisation application to the EMEA.
All medicinal products for human and animal use derived from biotechnology and other high-technology processes must be approved via the centralised procedure. The same applies to all human medicines intended for the treatment of HIV/AIDS, cancer, diabetes or neurodegenerative diseases and for all designated orphan medicines intended for the treatment of rare diseases. Similarly, all veterinary medicines intended for use as performance enhancers in order to promote the growth of treated animals or to increase yields from treated animals have to go through the centralised procedure.
For medicinal products that do not fall under any of the above-mentioned categories companies can submit an application for a centralised marketing authorisation to the EMEA, provided the medicinal product constitutes a significant therapeutic, scientific or technical innovation or the product is in any other respect in the interest of patient or animal health.
The safety of medicines is monitored constantly by the Agency through a pharmacovigilance network. The EMEA takes appropriate actions if adverse drug reaction reports suggest changes to the benefit-risk balance of a medicinal product. For veterinary medicinal products the Agency has the responsibility to establish safe limits for medicinal residues in food of animal origin.
The Agency also has a role to stimulate innovation and research in the pharmaceutical sector. The EMEA gives scientific advice and protocol assistance to companies for the development of new medicinal products. It publishes guidelines on quality, safety and efficacy testing requirements. A dedicated office established in 2005 provides special assistance to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
In 2001, the Committee for Orphan Medicinal Products (COMP) was established, charged with reviewing designation applications from persons or companies who intend to develop medicines for rare diseases (so-called 'orphan drugs'). The Committee on Herbal Medicinal Products (HMPC) was established in 2004 and provides scientific opinions on traditional herbal medicines.
The Agency brings together the scientific resources of over 40 national competent authorities in 30 EU and EEA-EFTA countries in a network of over 4,000 European experts. It contributes to the European Union's international activities through its work with the European Pharmacopoeia, the World Health Organization, and the ICH and VICH trilateral (EU, Japan and US) conferences on harmonisation, among other international organisations and initiatives.
The EMEA is headed by the Executive Director and has a secretariat of about 440 staff members in 2007. The Management Board is the supervisory body of the EMEA, responsible, in particular, for budgetary matters.
The Agency is also involved in referral procedures relating to medicinal products that are approved or under consideration by Member States.
Mark1, "no kidding"...SKS doesn't kid..
I don't ever recall an email being shared with this board, or any other, where SKS referred to SP whatsoever.
If he's referring to sales, valuation, etc., I personally am going to take it as a "wink".... my choice...my gain or my loss!
Snacks, I'm paddling in the canoe with you!eom:)
Good morning Snacks,
I had my cup(s) of coffee..The sky isn't falling, but the value of WAVX has.
It has because the company has not shown adequate traction quick enough to ward off further dilution.
In fact, the company hasn't shown us either that we are indeed making financial progress towards BE or profitability.
Now, we get word that IFX is setting up shop at Intel. Good news? Hardly.
Doom and gloom? Nope, just the facts Snack. Read the press release. Just the facts Snack!
Good morning Snacks,
I just want to eat one omelet from those eggs you're talking about before they rot.
Have a great day!
Wiz..ya think Wave might try keeping us informed?eom:)
"Darkside" to Steven... hello...
OK, so as to not make this too personal, are we going to reach breakeven before Infineon starts eating our lunch with Intel?
Alladinador... Nope..not until earnings..
Seagate just issued an advance report to their own stockholders on the progress of the quarter they are in... it flows downhill...
R2,Zen,...et al; One Word...SEAGATE!
With explosive things happening at Seagate, is there any reason to believe we're not smack dab in the middle of the goin when the goin is good?
AWK... Maybe it's now time for WAVX to identify the next OEM!eom:)
Chances...looks like the Wave has gone out with the Times!
"x-point"..ubiquity can't just be better than what is available now...
Causing the entire IT infrastructure to buy in to a real solution must indeed be a real solution..
Is there any other product out there that is in so many deals, on so many platforms, etc., that makes as little money as WAVX?
X.. So until now, we were shooting blanks?eom:)
At this rate, the pipe must be below 1.40! imvho..eom:)
Dory...People can buy at 1.50 right now...no takers!eom:)
Cosign, I'll take $7.50/sh for the whole pile today!eom:)
So, Who(m) is MSFT buying this morning?
* Server and tools Exec!(attached)
8:34AM Microsoft execs to make 'significant' announcement; says announcement is not about its proposed acquisition of Yahoo! (MSFT) 28.22 : Co announces that they will make a 'significant' co announcement today in a conf call at 8:30am PST. Co says the announcement is not about its proposed acquisition of Yahoo!. Co says it will not be discussed during this call.
What would it take? $4.50? $5.00..
This is great... in the face of no news, no discussion re; financing at the presentation, etc., we're drifting back towards $1.00...
SP? Looks like somebody knows something...no?:)
Awk, Weby, Micro, et al...
We all understand how the enterprise can prevent access without TPM, keys, etc.... if they decide to implement...
Can the enterprise, that owns those implemented and activated systems, not only exclude certain machines but also "zap" those machines...
For example...
1. Billy "B", who works for Company "Z" walks away from his laptop, while ON, in an airport lounge... He's already IN...
2. He walks back to his machine.... well "it used to be there"...
3. Peter Perpetrator has a machine, he's "IN", and has power supply.
CAN Company "Z" send out a ming the mercilous death kernal to Billy "B's" machine?
Thanks in advance...
VADER!!!
Weby, Zen..Thanks, I needed that!
I'll crawl back under my rock for a few weeks.eom:)
30 Million in the bag? So what's with the sp@1.63?eom:)
Awk...30 or 60 Million What? tia:)
Weby...Because;
1. They (an existing company) say they have a solution being implemented with Seagate that addresses key management
2. We have no appreciable sales that are "visible" at the moment to suggest we've gobbled up the space
3. Our Share Price is still below the Pre RS amount...which indicates nobody really believes we're going to own the day..
It's not our job to decipher the progress and utility of the competition... We are investors... We are reasonably concerned that others are starting to nibble at our lunch before we got a chance to open the bag!
Zen...Correction noted! eom:)
Weets....excuse my ignorance but...
It is easy to fear any other company that might dance that close to Seagate "to our tune" until and unless the fidelity of our relationship is proven up by big revenues....
It scares those of us who have never, repeat NEVER seen this company execute.
That being said, long, strong and hopefully not wrong, VADER!
"fixit"...ahhh competition..the game has begun...
