from the PR:
Both companies expect to have the new service options available within the next few months. Content will be made available via ClickCaster's podcast directory at www.clickcaster.com as well as via the GnF Network page at www.gameznflix.com.

don't know what to think about this company. If there is a product they're certainly taking their time to get it right with minimum investment (look at the very low R&D cost and the few engineers on staff)
ohio12 -
and that would be why? This is only the last in a series of AS increases by 1bio at a time every 2-3 months. Didn't keep the PPS from being volatile at times.
Service update -
returned 2 movies on Monday, 2 new ones shipped on Wednesday, this is the fastest turnaround I've ever had from here in Vermont!
freto -
it's not so much a limit from the PPS than the limit of not being allowed to own more than 10% of the float at any given time
Tina -
I'm just curious why he even bothered updating the chart with nothing as this info will become only available after the QSB anyway or whether this is something that SIS does on their own in regular intervals.
Tina -
nothing new just the updated charts in the Hot Updates (monthly numbers) section and they show 0 as always since revenue, etc are only reported at the end of the quarter. So you always get these 2 month nothing one month everything charts, remember?
Come to think of it, that should have meant June should have had numbers in there but does not (at least yet but is now drawn as 0 to June).
He updated the OS count on the 5th I believe it was and we have increased by ~112,000,000 as of 7/5

to take something positive out of this is the fact that they pay this service in cash and not shares as cash-strapped outfits do

Again, where do you calculate 20% discount - am I missing something?
PeeVeeCee -
what are you talking about, just in case you didn't know Prey is a game for Xbox360 and available as limited edition for MSRP of $69.99 and we're offering it for a slight discount (better than Walmart)

gives us at least something to smile about ...
Yeah, that was already announced in a May 17th press release where they announced that Gardner was named CEO after being acting CEO before when the previous CEO was placed on administrative leave in April.

that should get the right attention given the wide variety of myspace users

Hedge fund demands Vitesse be put up for sale-filing
Interesting stand of our biggest shareholder -
http://yahoo.reuters.com/news/articlehybrid.aspx?storyID=urn:newsml:reuters.com:20060707:MTFH81631_2...
NEW YORK, July 7 (Reuters) - Vitesse Semiconductor Corp. (VTSS.PK: Quote, Profile, Research), which is facing regulatory investigations for options backdating and other issues, should immediately be put up for sale, its largest shareholder demanded on Friday.
In a harshly worded letter, Chapman Capital, which holds over 16 million shares in the semiconductor company, said Vitesse would be worth more than $4.50 per share if sold.
Vitesse, which was delisted from Nasdaq last month, is one of dozens of companies under investigation by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission for backdating option grants to senior executives. In May, the company said it received a subpoena from federal prosecutors requesting documents involving stock option grants.
"Chapman Capital demands that Vitesse, following financial restatement and rescission of all improperly granted stock options, conclude a full scale auction of the company," the Los Angeles-based activist hedge fund said in a press release accompanying an SEC regulatory filing.
The $300 million Chapman Capital, managed by former Goldman Sachs trader Robert Chapman, has made similar demands of two other companies recently, including Carreker Corp. (CANI.O: Quote, Profile, Research) and Sunterra Corp. (SNRR.O: Quote, Profile, Research).
Vitesse was recently trading up 12 cents, or 8.4 percent, at $1.54 on the over-the-counter market.

here in Vermont we don't have electronic scanning yet (big surprise but last time I sent back all three movies at the same time - all were checked in the same day and three new movies went out the day after

Happy 4th to ALL!
We had our fireworks yesterday already and it was gorgeous.
Will watch the World Cup Semi Final today and that's all on the agenda.
Freedom and Independence for all and everywhere!

sorry to disappoint you but VIVI did not go to the pink sheets. NSCC handles all transactions for the NYSE, AMEX and OTCBB and the two stars ** mean that the securities issue is still eligible for trading on one of those exchanges.
The amended 10KSB/A was already filed on 5/26 and contained audited financials. I guess that if you did not have audited financials at the required time a filing of the next 10Q is needed in addition to get rid of the "E", but I'm not sure.
Here as reference the first section of the PR from VIVI addressing the "E" issue:
<<TRAVERSE CITY, MI--(MARKET WIRE)--Apr 27, 2006 -- Viva International, Inc. (OTC BB:VIVIE.OB - News) issued a press release this morning indicating that an "E" has been added to its symbol (VIVI) due to its 10KSB having been filed without the prerequisite financial audit and accompanying opinion by the Company's outside auditing firm. The press release indicated that arrangements are in progress that will provide for the audit to take place over the next few weeks to result in an amended 10KSB for 2005 to be filed shortly thereafter. Management indicated that the first quarter accounting for the period ended March 31, 2006 is expected to be available to the auditing firm prior to their completion of the 2005 year end audit. Management expressed confidence that this matter is under control and will not adversely affect the Company's previously announced plans to restart operations through its Eastern Caribbean Airlines subsidiary upon completion of required pilot training.>>

is that for your home system (Optiplex)? Any system with SDR memory does not require matched pairs. So you should be fine with just buying one stick. Although having matching pairs increases the likelihood that the sticks will work well together as there is always a remote chance that you stumble into some incompatibilities.

for 10Qs no audited financials are required. Only for 10K the yearly report.
Or the EPS etc...
would be too good to be true.
But you got the point I wanted to make
Why don't you order from their online catalog if you don't believe they have products.
But that wasn't the point I was trying to make. If you cite sources show all of their information not just what fits your agenda.
If you indeed would rely on Yahoo info, they get it from Capital IQ and then you should also list all other information listed in Key Statistics like:
OS: 463,000
Revenue (ttm): 13.9mio
Revenue/share (ttm): 29.964
EBITDA (ttm): 3.26mio
Net income avail to common (ttm): 1.65mio
Diluted EPS (ttm): 3.56
etc...
Try ~10mio market cap -
you know as well as anybody that yahoo info on OS is way outdated
manny -
then what I listed is correct. All you need is an ethernet interface and the standard ethernet cable. If you want to be more mobile, however, you would have to get yourself a wireless router which would allow you to use the laptop anywhere around the house.
I am aware of the cable companies needing to have the computer around (from friends) to tweak settings although I never had cable as high-speed source.
Good luck then and enjoy the weekend
Cheers
manny -
are you referring to a cable modem hookup, in other words, do you have cable TV at your vacation home and Hi-Speed cable service available? If so, all you need is a laptop with Ethernet port (10/100Mbps) which should be standard these days.
Please specify.
Cheers
Good morning, Tina and all!
Time for this to move up (although right now that's still just a wish like winning the lottery, not much luck with either of them
Cheers
Issueing more shares to buy equity (like new revenue stream producers) is OK with me as it does not constitute dilution. I would like to know a little more about it, though. Matin said all along that all earnings go towards expansion of existing business and is re-invested for growth of inventory and infrastructure (was quite a while ago) and still makes sense when you look at Veltex as a growth company. So acquiring a business for cash and stock considerations is nothing unusual.
I do agree with you, however, on the accounts of non-audited statements and lack of transparency.
Cheers

yes, this card should be compatible. Please make sure, that there are no problems deactivating the integrated graphics chip set via the BIOS setup. Diamond has a decent reputation for providing good drivers although my experience with Diamond cards goes back to Win98 times. For the price you don't run much risk.
Cheers
Curious as to what (if anything) this will do to the share price. Still no details to the new acquisition...
dbleagl -
finally found a picture of your actual mobo and it has 3 PCI slots, no AGP slot! Which means you can only upgrade/replace the PCI card already in your Vaio if not the integrated graphics chip is used. That will limit you greatly on available cards and better performing cards.
Here is the link to the ebay offer:
http://cgi.ebay.com/Sony-VAIO-Motherboard-PCV-RS412-used-system-pull_W0QQitemZ6886842131QQcategoryZ4...
Looks like you have a motherboard with Intel 845G or 865G based integrated graphics chipset and an available AGP8X slot. The model you have might already have a AGP graphics card installed instead of using the integrated graphics (difference between 412 and 410 model. You can easily tell whether my suspicion is right by looking at the back of your tower case and check whether one of the four horizontal PCI slot covers (the top one) is occupied and features your current VGA connector and an additional DVI connector. If that is not the case and the VGA connector is part of the overall interface set (like serial, USB, parallel, etc. ports) and vertically oriented then your model uses the integrated chip set and you should have an open AGP slot. Unfortunately I could not locate any specs on your model anywhere on the internet. The info I have is from an tutorial on the Sony site on opening the case on your Vaio model and what I wrote is concluded from what I saw in this tutorial with very limited view.
If this is the case (AGP port) then this is what you should use as it gives better performance than PCI (although worse that the newer PCI-Express which is not supported by your motherboard, however).
If my conclusion is right, however, then you should already have a AGP card and then the question is, why do you want to upgrade (or replace)?
Cheers
Can't say for sure unless you are certain that the Vaio only has PCI but not PCI-E as interface then the X800 is not an option. What Viao do you have?
dbleagl -
can't really compare them as they are completely different performance classes and based on different interfaces. The e-bay is an ATI X800XT version and is PCI-Express based which is the next generation to the PCI interface that the newegg card sports. Also the GPU on both cards more than one generation apart. Much better performance on the X800XT card.
Cheers
About 1.3mio shares dilution in two months from 15.2 to 16.5 mio

when you open the Java Control Panel and look at the Java tab and then click the View button under "Java Applet Runtime Settings" what is listed, and then do the same under "Java Application Runtime Settings" what is listed and enabled with the checkmark?
When you look at your Internet Options under Advanced in the Microsoft VM which Java options are enabled?
Chris -
do you see the Java Control Panel (not the Java Plug-in) in your Control Panel?
