Yeah well it took six years and several thousand men to construct the world trade center twin towers...it took 19 guys, a plan, determination and a few box cutters to tear them down in less than 3 hours.
In January of 2004 an unknown college student began writing code for The Facebook that was valued at 5 million dollars by July of that same year. 8 years later in was valued at 104 Billion dollars at its IPO.
Mr. Prakash has been hustling his Dreams at least half that long, and the man has to print shares to round up enuff change to pay bus fair to get him from up town to midtown manhatten.
Maybe Mr. Prakash should take a few lessons from Mr. Zuckerburg who by the way, was also a genius at developing his product, but had no idea how to run his company. Zuckerberg dedicating himself to studying the best CEO's of past 150 years and applying the lessons of the greatest. Well SP not so much. This guy thinks that he can just wish things into existence. His good idea got him in the door, He has failed to lead, and fail to act since.
THV, you are way to ambitious for me, the only thing I have watched go down daily is TIVU PPS. It is really sad to say the least. I know that you mean well, and I am sure you hope like the rest of us that we are wrong about this. But honestly I think you are reading into things a bit too much. TIVUS like TITANIC, is destined for two miles deep in icy cold water. potential to be great and do great things, it was driven into the broadside of a theoretical iceburg and is sinking fast.
I'm in, here's $50K, you deserve a salary no less than $1.2 Million per year. gonna be huge, why didn't i think of that?
well to make a long story short, and to not keep kicking a dead horse, my irritation comes from his lack of communication, lack of performance, suckling of a CEO salary equivalent of a $5 million company CEO, his advance of an additional years salary, yet the company has not proven receipts of even $5.00. missed deadlines, failure thus far to deliver. BS tweets, and lack or any relevant references of time. Unwillingness to publicly own the Fin's screw-up and issuing of statement via other ihubbers, and an "oops, my bad tweet". I am sure I missed a few, but I am sure that my Brothers here can jump in and add a few more for good measure.
Mike Sierra Lima Papa, I cant PM either, but I expect something big out of TIVUS "soon".

Good morning TIVUers... not happy with SP, but that is nothing new. What is new, I have a fairly good tip on another penny that might be worth a look. message me if you are interested, but do your own DD.
Dude, I am seriously rolling on the floor laughing at this post.
I will certainly add you to the long list that have that aspiration, however most of them are waiting on that day, just to kick my ass.
Not nearly as dumbfounded as me, but like the follow up, I am not sure agree totally with what that post says. LIVE and LEARN...I can't tell you how relieved I was to hear that that was not the the post you were referring to. DMO, admittedly a much smarter person than myself, set me straight on my errors in thinking after that. man, your stupid post are like herpes, they just keep coming back at the worst times....LOL, ya'll have great holiday, IS AUGUST HERE YET!!!
LOL, all I can say is at least these phuckers were selling opportunity....not like SP who seems fat, dumb, and happy to spend all of his shareholders dollars to give away free hotel tv's and equipment. The difference is, when these yahoo's get out of prison, they are going to have a fat bank account somewhere "offshore" waiting on them. SP will be sleeping on skid row with the rest of us bums.
I know, she is hot right?
Laura Pendergest-Holt (born 1974) is an alleged Ponzi scheme artist, financier, and former Chief Investment Officer of Stanford Financial Group, who was charged with a civil charge of fraud on February 17, 2009. On May 12, 2009, Pendergest-Holt was indicted by a federal grand jury on two counts of a criminal complaint of obstructing a fraud investigation and conspiracy to obstruct justice. In early 2009, Stanford Financial became the subject of several fraud investigations, and on February 17, 2009, Pendergest-Holt was charged by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission with fraud and multiple violations of U.S. securities laws for alleged "massive ongoing fraud" involving $8 billion in certificates of deposits. The FBI raided three of Stanford's offices in Houston, Memphis, and Tupelo, Mississippi. On February 27, 2009, the SEC amended its complaint to describe the alleged fraud as a "massive Ponzi scheme". On June 21, 2012, she pleaded guilty to obstructing a U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission investigation into Stanford International Bank, the Antiguan offshore bank owned by Robert Allen Stanford.

I would be curious to know where or how you came up with "45 Days"? Can Tivus survive another 45 days? I have done all the DD one can do, and short of pure speculation, I just don't know how anyone can make any sense of this? References of time surpass any logical understanding of the English Language. 45 days seems to be way too definitive to have come from any source close to SP. not to mention completely out of character.
No worries, it won't fill. I have had a small one in since the updated T/A numbers. no luck getting it filled yet.
LOL!!! You know I sometimes speculate about this very thing. Here is my theory, as dumb as it might sound. SP has often expressed his feelings through a few board members about how he does not like the negative sentiments toward Tivus that gets passed around here. and how he wishes that we would just leave. Maybe he feels that by releasing a fluff PR, he would only be coming off as trying to satisfy those that are being tuff on him in the first place. so now he is trying a different approach, quit wasting money on fluff PR's and only the truly dedicated will stick around and reap the rewards. At this point, the bulk of my investment is worthless, I can't buy too many more shares without owning more than 5%. with my investment presently being worthless, I am hardheaded and refuse to leave. I will either ride this to .0000 no bid or I will make enough money to buy my own Nation, but either way, SP will not rid of me and my critical analysis of his operation. If he wants respect, then he needs to earn it.
I believe Wagget is in Europe, and JWEZ is on a LONG Vacation. I am sure they will be back.
I am betting that MOTEL 6 would like a chance to get some free TV's BRO.
Maybe we can call Erin Brokovich, she likes to take on big corporate bullies "PRO BONO"
DUDE, with what resources? lest you forget we are, for all intents and purposes, BROKE. IBM is a multi-million dollar company with lawyers on retainer. The first rule of big business law, the easiest way to win a law suit is to run the other guy out of money before the trial. In our case, they won't even have to lift a finger, we are already there. Honestly, we would be better off finding a way to get it fixed, and get the contract signed then sue IBM for the lost revenue between then an now.
While I will agree with you that it is his responsibility, I can tell you from an engineering perspective, what works in theory does not always live up to that standard in practical application. The switches he installed first did work only not to the extent to handle 1400 occupied rooms. I am not sure to what level they did work? Only that supposedly the switches supplied by IBM had been delivered as a suitable substitute for what was originally ordered, and they did not stand up to the demand that IBM stated they would. It is my understanding that the switch problem is fixed, if it isn't somebody please say so? I can also tell you that as an engineer designing Arliegh Burke Class Guided Missile Destroyers, a program that is almost 30 years old, it is not uncommon for systems to be installed that function in theory and in test labs that require modifications in the field. I am not so much concerned about the functional operation of the system, as that is proven, my concern lies in the lack of willingness to pursuing/demanding the ability to make it right. Let say that you install an a/c in my house, and i call you up and say Mr. Risk this thing works great except when i turn on my attic light it turns off the unit. So until you get out here and fix it I am not going to pay you for it. Now I don't go into my attic, so I don't need the light up there, so the system works good enuff to keep my house cool, but I cant find the time to meet you and let you in to fix it. so you are stuck between a rock and a hard place. you are willing to fix it, you want to get paid, but I won't let you in my house to replace the faulty relay. What do you do? in this case you take me to small claims and a judge sees right through my bullshit. But that doesn't work like that in the world of BIG BUSINESS.
R3, Honestly I am not trying to sound condescending, or even come off like a jerk. But that is (as you stated) your take on what happened. Is any of that based on actual phone conversation(s) with SP, or purely speculation? It has been my understanding (at least for some time, now)that the install works as designed. (Blahdude could probably elaborate more here) But I believe the switch problem is only a problem when the hotel is at or near capacity. Not to say it isn't still a problem since hotels want to be at capacity everyday for best profits, and if it doesn't work then, it may as well not work at all. I also understand that the switches are already updated, but the system to some aspect (either fully, or partially) needs to be taken down so a software update can be implemented? My guess is worst case about 24 hours, but probably more like 6-8 hours. I also understand the hold up there to be the hotel to allow this period of time, whatever it might be, for the system to be taken down. Again this seems to be an area that Blahdude could talk to far better than I.
From a technical/Engineering standpoint I will agree with your opinion that SP has done ALMOST everything humanly possible to make this work. Notice said almost, and I will address that in detail further down. Now from a business CEO standpoint, SP has not held the standard. Even the old (pre-phone conversation) R3 knew well of what I speak of here. Ok the money issues may be hindering official news releases and actual financial reports, but that is really no excuse for his failure to OPENLY and HONESTLY communicate with his shareholders. Had he done this, and it is not too late for him to still do it, I think that he could have saved a lot of face, and he might actually come up with some pretty resourceful input from the shareholders. Further I might add that if Money was the big problem of getting Philly fully operational, why spend a buttload on researching Puerto Rico, especially if your main selling point and attraction is based on a functional working model in Philly? It might be just my anal retentiveness talking here, but I think that talking to and showing conceptualized presentations of a system that can do one thing, and then providing a Half Assed working model that SCREAMS "We can't do all that we are advertising" is really piss poor salesmanship. or as some of the old guys say "putting the cart before the horse".
Now back to "ALMOST", as a young engineer, 25 years ago, my mentor taught me that while "Discretion is usually the better part of Valor, it often easier to ask for forgiveness than it is to ask for permission". I had a piece of equipment that was becoming dangerously close to full mechanical failure that was in operation, and we had a fully operational back up ready to go online automatically if it went down. I, trying to save catastrophic damage to the equipment notified the Chief Engineer that I wanted to switch equipment, and his reply was "NO, I might have an emergency to which I would need the backup equipment" and my reply was that if that happens it isn't going to do you any good anyways. My boss, after hearing the exchange between myself and the Chief Engineer, walked over and turned off the switch and that caused the standby equipment to start automatically. by the time the chief engineer had figured out what had happened, all repairs had been made and he had two functional pieces of equipment. Thus nothing to really be mad about.
I said all that to say this. "What if the TIVUS system at Philly just happened to stop working? HMMM I wonder why? well wouldn't that be a perfect time to update the software? or what if 50 anonymous people called the local new channel in Philly and said that they had stayed at the Philly Marriott and now had tons of bed bug bites. so now Marriott has to go empty room to empty room looking for these bed bugs. what do you know, a great time to update TIVUS software." I am not saying, I am just saying. There is more than one way to skin a cat. Some Major league guys take real pleasure with bullying the minor league guys around. maybe it is time to shuffle the cards and stack the deck in our favor, just enough to even the playing field.
Of course it is REAL HONESTY, this is the internet, nobody lies on the internet do they?
I know you found it amusing, but at least for Chris, Myself and a few others here, if you read our entire history of post at TIVUS board, that is exactly what you will find. Enough evidence to medically come to the conclusion that Olanzapine (Zyprexa), Aripiprazole (Abilify), Risperidone (Risperdal), Ziprasidone (Geodon), and Clozapine (Clorazil) should be handed out at the door instead of breath mint. But don't be fooled this board has a good number of individuals that are so full of Shiite that they need the breath mints too.
MAYBE is certainly the operative word in that post. Maybe, if someone were trash talking potential investors (not admitting to it, but the consensus seems to feel differently) then just MAYBE that could have some implications to at least keeping this stock from making an artificial run based on built hype. But I assure you that NO AMOUNT of trash talk on this or any other board would hold down the price of a stock that is being run with intelligence, by a CEO that is communicating in a positive light about the real life operations of his or her company. If and When this CEO decides to release the proper items to make this a legit company then a legit share price will be procured. Until then, I will not be part of some overwhelming scheme to bring new investors in here and pump em full of BS, so you or anyone else can dump over-hyped over-priced shares on em.
well I am in this one for about $45K, fortunately someone left me some money that I really didn't want or need, or I would never be in this far, it just kind of worked out that way. we will see what the future holds here??? But if you haven't picked up on my sentiments yet, I suggest you stay out of this one until the grass promises to get greener.
Not angry with the stock. I have never believed anything bad about the stock. But you are spot on about how i feel about the CEO. he is both a genius and a clown, neither of which qualify him to be the CEO of this company. I am very sorry that you feel that i am out of line for trying to keep a potential investor from investing one single penny here. If that is offensive to you well then I guess it is just offensive to you.
Well thanks for your concern. whether fortunate or unfortunate remains to be seen, but my position as of late is nearly 100 times what it was when that was posted. so i will either be biggest loser or a big winner, but either way I still would not recommend this stock to my worst enemy.

TiVUS, Inc. (OTCPK: TIVU) announced that advertising on the Company's proprietary, satellite based, high-definition (HD) internet-protocol television (IPTV) with ad-insertion has begun generating revenues this month lending strong validation to the Company's novel hotel HD IPTV ad-insertion business model.
"Significantly, we believe current ad-revenue projections reveal TiVUS' first-of-its-kind HD IPTV with ad-insertion effectively renders video-on-demand income, already in decline for over a decade, immaterial," commented Shiva Prakash, TiVUS' chief executive officer.
"Today it is satisfying to report, however meager initially, our ad-revenues have begun at our inaugural Philadelphia installation. Moreover, at the current pace of ad-sales, I expect this installation to be fully-booked with advertisers and generating expected revenue, which we have always believed was attainable, by early in the second fiscal quarter.
"We believe strong advertiser demand is the ultimate third-party validation providing proof-positive TiVUS ad-insertion based business model is leading the way forward for the hospitality entertainment industry. As TiVUS IPTV with ad-insertion allows hotels to now migrate away from legacy video-on-demand systems, we believe migration of high-end properties to our system will begin gaining significant momentum.
"Our ad sales team has been working with eager local businesses for the past 6-weeks. During that time, advertisers have been filming commercials, placing ads, and taking advantage of unprecedented e-commerce opportunities. As a result, billing cycles for local advertisers has begun and invoicing has already been underway. Based on our success here in Philadelphia, we believe TiVUS has forever changed the way hotels fund, implement, and leverage in-room entertainment.
"I now expect to announce some well-known advertisers in the coming days and weeks, as I was just informed last night of new successes by our advertising sales team," Prakash concluded.

What else does he have to do? LOL, in spite of his pure genius, the guy is a real azz clown.
Let me just say, SP is not a stupid man. He has just proven this to me by revealing the most important and thought out action he could have chosen. Thanks SP, now make the right decisions for TIVUS also.
JUST TO MAKE PUBLIC RECORD of the FACTs
When this invitation was announced, in light of all the unanswered messages and emails I had sent to SP previously, I jumped on the opportunity. I sent my contact information to JWEZ, and he forwarded it to SP for him to call me and set something up. I was ready to take a weeks worth of personal time away from my busy job and college work on my masters. A week that I could spend at home with my bride and six children. Well to make a long story very short. The man never called me. I am not impressed or surprised when taking into account the events of the last six months. I am willing to go on record and say I am wrong, but SP will have to show me something for that to happen. To date he has proven to be nothing more than a man with a dream that stole a fortune of other peoples money. I don't think he intended to steal it, but his gross dereliction of his job with his overpaid salary and an additional 1 year salary which he borrowed from the company, leave nothing to be contrived except that he misappropriated our money. If he can produce evidence otherwise, I will gladly publicly retract my sentiments.
Yes, I am sure somebody knows whether he is or not.
The same way I saw that BUM out on the corner last Friday holding a sign that said homeless, wearing clothes that made him look like he hadn't had a shower in months, BUT he was walking around talking on an Iphone. I offered him $150 cash for the phone, but he was like "no way dude, this thing cost me $450." Yeah I guess he ain't as broke as he is letting on. How many bums do you know making over $130K per year?
Wow, I think I may have found SP!!! Only SP himself could confuse my venting on his piss poor performance as an CEO to date, as Venting on a stock that I own.
Lets get this out in the clear so there is no question about my thoughts on TIVU. TIVU is the Bee's Knees, It is a great technology, and marketed the right way, and run by a business savvy CEO,it could change the Hotel and Resort television system for years to come. But the fact of the matter is, we have a CEO that has failed to live up to deadlines, failed to meet ANY business objectives, Failed to communicate clearly with his shareholders, Failed to proofread Annual Reports, and the list goes on and on without any reprieve.
Before you talk to me about my venting, i suggest you buy a few more of those low priced shares. Otherwise, let's just say that no matter what you think about TIVUS or me, or my post, your vote won't count. There is one reason why I can't buy anymore of these cheap shares and it isn't because i am out of money
LOL, the problem is that has nothing to do with SP doing the job we are overpaying him to do.
we have had a few days of low numbers of post, if we get our post numbers up, it shouldn't take much to put us on the Breakout Boards, couple that with a 100% green gainer, and we could see some more volume pretty easy.
LOL, Honestly I knew what you were saying, I just wasn't done venting yet, and you just happened to provide me a springboard. Please don't take offense, none was directed at you.
