Sounds good. Hopefully they can cut spending;)
Sometimes its better to be lucky than good;) Just ask Wisconsin and their loss on a Hail Mary
sorry i could have worded it better;)
Please read http://finance.yahoo.com/q/is?s=MSLP.OB
Net Income= NEGATIVE
No...they are all profit numbers and they are all NEGATIVE. I guess operating LOSS would have been the correct term. Or negative net income.....
or whatever words you wanna hear to understand that MP is LOSING MONEY!
I posted PROFIT (which is negative, so LOSS), not REVENUE. They are two different things....
Please keep the SP low til December! I'm selling both of my Sugar Bowl tickets to buy more PHHHHHHAAAAAARRRR!:)
Here are the actual PROFIT figures:
Q1=-$5 Million
Q2=-$7.4 Million
Q3= -$7 Million (Conservative Estimate)
Despite setting record sales; this company cannot pay bills
Annual Profit Results:
2009: -$1.9 Million
2010: -$19.5 Million
2011: -$26 Million (Based on Q1 and Q 2; generous est of Q3, Q4)
2012: -$40 Million (Extremely Generous Est based on previous performance)
Sales growth means nothing when you can't stop spending. Anybody can achieve sales growth by spending outside their means...
I'll contribute to that 4% over the next month;)
400k here:)
Not that it is much...but I hold 400k:)
I got 48k@ .007!!! WHOOOOOEEEE!
Insight on Howard's previous work, does this really sound like the work history of a guy that is running a scam??? I DON'T THINK SO! It sounds like S-U-C-C-E-S-S
Howards was Pharmline Incs VP of operations in early 2000s. According to Hoovers, Pharmline does over $14 Million in sales a year.
Howard had a major impact in the following accomplishments of the company....Straight from Pharline Inc's website (pharmlineinc.com)
February 2000 began construction of dedicated Fluid Bed Granulation facility.
March 2001 completed renovation of original production facility, replacing all blending, drying and milling equipment.
February 2000 became first U.S. ingredient supplier to provide in-house screening of raw materials for gamma irradiation
Pharmline Expands Facility, Honors Banner Pharmacaps
FLORIDA, N.Y.--Pharmline Inc. has completed the first stage of an expansion of its manufacturing and processing facilities. More than 25,000 square feet of processing area have been renovated to comply with current good manufacturing practice (GMP) standards. Eighty percent of the plant's processing equipment was replaced with new equipment custom designed by Pharmline's vice president of operations, Howard Phykitt.
In March, Pharmline began construction of a 13,000-square-foot Fluid Bed Granulation facility that will be adjacent to the existing factory. This plant will have a monthly capacity of up to 150 metric tons of directly compressible/agglomerated ingredients for the food, nutritional and pharmaceutical industries.
In other news, Pharmline honored Banner Pharmacaps as its Customer of the Year. According to Robert Walker, vice president of Pharmline, "Banner Pharmacaps was recognized for its ongoing efforts to increase our industry's knowledge and appreciation for the overwhelming research and benefits of Omega-3 supplements." Pharmline is celebrating its 10th year as the exclusive representative of the Pronova EPAX® line of Omega-3 products. For more information, stop by Booth #1713-1715 at SupplySide East.
Rocky doesn't have any skin in the game. Just sayin.
Rocky!!! You are lookin kinda suspect....just saying.
New Assault formula sucks...just a heads up. MP wasn't lying about cutting costs. New formula has 8 less servings for the same price, and it is not as powerful.
I can only find the old address (752) on Hoovers...looking for the new one but can't find it
It also looks as though Babatunde Kupoluyi has ownership of Nail Village Inc in Brooklyn

Not once the new formula goes out....it tastes good, that is the only positive
PS. New assault formula has not been getting good feedback. Customers (myself included) have not felt anything after taking it, whereas the old formula was awesome.
Diminishing Returns...keep throwing money at advertising doesn't mean you keep increasing at the same rate.
That is just plain ridiculous...
You do know that Xyience filed for bankruptcy in 08 right? Ufc is expensive if you don't have the cash flow to support it. It ruined their company
Awesome, how many millions did it take to build?
It is OK to disagree and debate...however you seem to be the one whom lacks respect....Steve asked straight forward questions and yet you attack him?
I am in the industry, and no he is not.
You couldn't be more mistaken....Deluca was NOT WANTED by Optimum Nutrition, that is a FACT!
BLEEDING!
Agreed the actual numbers wouldn't have a significant impact, the problem is what lies behind the numbers. Salary increases like that show where management's head is at.....and trust me its not looking out for the shareholders. They are too interested in partying and trying to be a 'celebrity' than to run the company (just ask deluca)
Providing patent applications and information to the public allows any competitors to see how aquaprin is being made. They can't use the same methods, however it might spur new ideas by competitors. As Howard is saying, the information is kept better in a 'trade secret' until they reach a point that they are close to production. It is actually better for Pharmstar (and us) the longer the application process is drawn out, because once it is approved it becomes available for public use in 7 years (I think). By delaying the actual application and approval process, a company can maintain their competitive advantage for longer than the 7 year period.
Just my thoughts
Agreed, i'm honestly not sure one way or another. Weird they specifically mention the Muscle Gel product by name, and no other products. Who knows, may be the whole lineup though!
I believe the article just means muscle gel....not all of MP'S products. If just muscle gel, you can estimate approximately 2 boxes to be sold a day ($10 revenue each box for MP wholesale prices). This price is assuming GNC is not leveraging their purchase to get the wholesale price lowered......
Jeremy Deluca!
haha, somebody just took the SP down with $57
hahaha no kidding!
Just took out 43k at 0.012!
$1.35 to $0.015 in a matter of 2 years......disgusting!
Thanks for your input! I agree on the buyout! Heads up BSN and Optimum are both owned by Glanbia plc...so they control the market right now.
All companies will claim they have 'quality products.' This is not a true differentiation or core competency, it is a right to play in the supplement industry. Its like a restaurant saying it has a 'sanitary kitchen,' it is expected by the consumer.
