Pharmline Expands Facility, Honors Banner Pharmacaps
FLORIDA, N.Y.--Pharmline Inc. has completed the first stage of an expansion of its manufacturing and processing facilities. More than 25,000 square feet of processing area have been renovated to comply with current good manufacturing practice (GMP) standards. Eighty percent of the plant's processing equipment was replaced with new equipment custom designed by Pharmline's vice president of operations, Howard Phykitt.
In March, Pharmline began construction of a 13,000-square-foot Fluid Bed Granulation facility that will be adjacent to the existing factory. This plant will have a monthly capacity of up to 150 metric tons of directly compressible/agglomerated ingredients for the food, nutritional and pharmaceutical industries.
